When the campaign staff first realized that there were a lot of people out there ready to mobilize efforts and financially support the Ron Paul candidacy, they should have called a "timeout" and stategized on how best to harness the energy. This could have been grown exponentially, if professional public relations people were consulted. Instead, they just "let it happen" with no coordination or support. Like Trevor Lyman, the staff didn't even know anything about his effort until he presented the campaign a multi million dollar check. Geez! They should have been parading him around all the network shows, talking the Ron Paul talk, but they acted as if they were somehow "upstaged". They left it up to Ron Paul to do ALL the talking, no supporting cast whatsoever. With a candidate like Ron Paul, and energy from the grassroots, the campaign staff pulled up really lame. We won't get another chance with Ron Paul.

of how they're going to get Ron Paul any traction. It's late in the game, the nomination is about to be awarded, and with Ron Paul only polling single digits........what in the world is the plan?

Please ask him how he feels about the possibility of Ron Paul Delegates and Supporters from all over the country Marching on the 9th District Federal Reserve Bank in Downtown Minneapolis a day or two prior to the Republican Convention, before the World's News organizations. Dr. Paul could give a speech from the very steps of the Federal Reserve Bank.

Jesse Ventura would probably be more than happy to make the necessary arrangements and aquire the needed permit. Note, that Doctor Paul has a very large following in that part of the country. Large numbers of supporters could easily drive in from all throughout Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota, Chicago and Montana. With plenty of hotel and motel space in the area, plus the attraction of being able to shop at the "Mall of America" and to spend a family day at "Six Flags", I believe that we would have a very large turn-out.

Note, that by doing this, we would receive a great deal of press coverage, make a very big and important point regarding the Fed and blunt one of McCains chief spokesmen, the Governor of Minnesota.

Can Ron Paul reach out to Barack Obama, and have a private meeting with him, to educate Obama about the unconstitutionality of this Central Bank Monopoly seizing full control over this land's greatest resource, our Nation's money, for their own personal profit and pleasure; and about how this systematically generates public debt (at U.S. Taxpayer expense and citizen hardship) -?

Barack Obama claims to have studied "Constitutional Law". He has been very successful in building a large grassroots based movement around the abstract idea of "change". He has not taken money from PACs and Lobbyists. He is a sincere man, intelligent, and intellectually reachable.

So, if an expert like Ron Paul could sit down with him and educate him on how debt-based currency is an unconstitutional rip-off and theft of American citizens own money, and how the very existence of a Central Bank Monopoly just robs away Americans of their own standard-of-living and destroys our currency, some important learning could take place here.

There is a very real prospect now that Obama will be the Democratic nominee. John McCain is of no use to our great cause. McCain is just a cheerleader for the Central Bank corruption, and also for the Military-Industrial-Complex tyranny. McCain is totally unreachable and he is just a force for the status-quo, Neocon, Monopolistic control of our Country and further propaganda and Corporate looting (Iraq, etc.). There is no true "straight-talk" with him on any subject whatsoever.

Obama, however, might just be educatable and might be sincere enough to actually try to do something to help our cause, if he is first educated and informed about the issue.

Educating Obama on this issue, might just help advance one very important aspect of the broader movement that Ron Paul has been working all his whole life for.

It is time for Ron Paul to teach Obama true Constitutional Law.
Can some meeting be setup?

Are the RP presidential campaign staffers charged with personally soliciting donors, still doing so? If yes, how is that fundraising going?

Need for Campaign to continue to update Grassroots on the following:
1. Where do we actually stand on Delegates and from which States are they from.?
2.When will the March for Freedom date be? And what is needed to make it a success. ie what will the campaign be doing, so we can augment that.
3.Can there be a list of what states are on the radar for Primaries,
County Concentions, State Conventions.
and a place to get updates for each state?

a few well placed National TV commercials that we can announce to everyone we know.....and.......and launch an Infomercials TV campaign. The infomercials should talk about the Constitution and most importantly, it should paint a vision of a free, safe, and healthy society. Try to make the Infomercials pay for themselves in that with a $25 donation you get a Revolution T-Shirt, bumper sticker, etc.

I know it's trivial in the grand scheme of things but the sooner we know the easier it will be for everyone involved. Thanks!

While I think volunteer efforts are great, I believe our chances would greatly improve by a legitimate and legal way to directly fund the process of getting more RP delegates.

500 Tag-Teams with one person being the volunteer delegate-to-be and the other person being the campaign worker. Paying 500 campaign workers $2,000 is a perfectly legal use of campaign funds.

The money could direclty assist the local process of getting more RP delegates elected. And if they are discrete about it, the other campaigns will never know what hit them until this mass of people show up to elect RP delegates!

(BTW – To confirm my intentions I disqualify myself from receiving any funds).

We will take the convention by votes in the 2nd or 3rd round! Will we stand a chance!exploit it and win the nomination!!!do the math it is going to a brokered convention! We are way more dedicated then anyone else im sure of that and if you were letting it ride regaurdless of the news RP
dropped out then you will be a state delegate and maybe a national delegate! we are going to cou da ta these basturds.lol.

If Ron Paul is not offered a speaking slot at the Republican National Convention and a brokered convention gets us nowhere, then the door should be swung WIDE OPEN for a Constitution Party/Libertarian Party run. With Nader in the race and Bloomberg likely, a Ron Paul presidency in a five-way race, with five well funded candidates, is actually pretty possible.

Seriously, between Hillary or Obama, McCain, Nader, Bloomberg, and Ron Paul, does anyone think we could NOT muster a plurality of votes to win the race?

This does NOT mean that delegates should not try to influence the Republican Party from within. We should still do that. We should still go to the national convention and work on platform committees and rule committees and so forth. But when it is all said and done if after the RNC we are no closer to a Ron Paul presidency, then a third-party option is a must.

The Man is Ron Paul and the Time is NOW. If we don't do a third-party run this year, Ron Paul's (and our) chances of making a huge splash will have been wasted, I am afraid.

So, tell Jim Fox to relay to national HQ the above thoughts. :-)

Fortune Favors the Bold

Heads up. Shoot this one in the butt IMMEDIATELY.

1. Do they realize Idaho needs help NOW? Potential delegates have to turn in forms between March 10 and 21. Waiting to ehlp the meetup members in May is too late to do anything about the delegates.
2. Will there be any challenge to the overall vote process?
3. Will there be any mass media campaign, or can they not even buy time?
4. Is there some way they can get a 2 minute video of Ron Paul up every few days? I know Texas is a serious situation, but I feel like he went down there and fell off the edge of the earth!

Can the campaign please comprise a press release to the major networks and their affiliates that Ron Paul is still in the race.

Please...please...someone with authorty clear the air on this...proving he is still in the race shouldn't be part of the battle...thanks.

Fighting for Freedom~Perki

How can we fight back, peacefully? How can we stop ignorance in America?

I understand and fully support the message of the Ron Paul Revolution and have dedicated my time, effort, and money to the cause. I will even be traveling to Washington for the march with my wife and daughter in response to Dr. Paul's most recent call for action from his supporters. I will continue to canvass and phone bank in all of my spare time. But with Ron Paul standing so far behind in the delegate count and the popular vote, regardless of why delegate count and popular vote, is there another reason for him continuing to stand against the current corrupt establishment? Is he really just playing for a brokered convention at this point? Is there something going on in the campaign that us supporters are not aware of?

I have heard Ron Paul speak that he is pleasantly surprised by the turnout and the support that he has received and that he will continue to run so long as contributions and new supporters come to his camp. I know quitting is not an option, but is there something else that Ron Paul is banking on?

I mean no disrespect in my question; I guess sometimes we need encouragement when the cards are stacked against us. My question is with all do respect and I will never give up this fight either.
