Romney To Re-Enter Race?

This is no sh*t. I heard this on the morning news on the local TV here. Supposedly one of Romneys sons is being linked to a rumour that Mitt is thinking about re-entering the race "should something unforseen cause McCain to implode" ..
Hmm ... now why would they put something like that out on the TV news ? :)

the only way Romney might win the nomination is if it was only him and RP at the convention, but even then..don't forget how many actual delegates we may have at the convention, plus a lot of people really got burned by him dropping out...may not trust him now or may have been swayed by now.

The important words here is "if needed". That means if Huckabee drops out or McCain become ill or just drops dead. The RNC does not want Ron Paul in the race...period. I read this morning that their biggest fear is that the Republican Party would be labeled "racist", driving away the Hispanic and black voters, thus handing the Presidency to the Dem.
The more I thought about this, the more I could correlate the media blackout to those dam news letters from 1988. Ron Paul was getting some decent coverage until then. With the party working against him, there is no way they are going to allow Ron Paul to have a chance of winning the nomination and for sure the Dems would use all the dirty tricks that they could think of, with the help of the RNC to give the Presidency to Obama or Hillery, just to save the "war" party.
So, apparently the Republican Party is worried about...
alienating Hispanics and Blacks...but not the "Gooks?"
Ron Paul is the perfect conservative republican
It just proves that they will not give up their wars, they have every intention no matter what of carrying on the conquering of the world and shrinking our middle class down to nothing.
Counter with....
Ron Paul disagrees with the death penalty and war on drugs because they both disproportionately affect minorities.

That would be just as bad as a non-brokered convention. The "conservative" base would swing Romney's way before anyone else. They actually THINK he is one.
Plus, he "looks good enough" to beat the Democrats, blah, blah, blah.
