Message from Ron Paul - Feb 26
February 26, 2008
What thrilling rallies we've just had in Texas. First there were the Students for Ron Paul at the University of Texas in Austin. The media said 4,000 came. Our people think there were more like 7,000. In any event, it was a very enthusiastic gathering of our revolutionaries, as even the media admitted.
You will not be surprised to know that the young people there cheered the pure message of liberty: no preemptive wars, no Federal Reserve, no income tax, no police state, no drug war. Just American liberty and the Constitution, in the tradition of the framers.
But the rally in Kileen, though much smaller, may have been just as significant. Kileen is near Fort Hood, and among the 300 people who attended were many active-duty soldiers (though not in uniform) and their families. Whether it was the young man going back to Iraq for his fourth tour, or the sister of a soldier just killed there, they all wanted change in our foreign policy. Most heartbreaking was the young mother who asked for a signed copy of the Constitution for her son, "who will never know his dad." He too was just killed in Iraq.
How can we ask one young American to die for a neocon empire? The soldiers and their families agree with us, which is why our campaign gets more financial support from active-duty and retired military than all the rest combined. They want to defend America, not be part of some globalist scheme to take away our country's independence. And by the way ,at both rallies, nobody was for the monstrous Trans-Texas Corridor or the North American Union.
Coming up soon are the Texas and Ohio primaries, with others like Pennsylvania not long afterwards. We are contesting every one, and we will be heard at the Republican national convention in Minneapolis and beyond. A substantial minority of Americans in all parties, not to speak of Independents, agree with you and me. Until November and beyond, I want to work to turn that minority into a majority, with your help. https://www.ronpaul2008.c...
Sincerely,
Ron

Pennsylvanias primary will be held
on April 22. We have gained the top ballot position for Dr. Paul. 2000 signatures were required but over 10,000 were submitted to get on the ballot.
Add to this many dedicated Ron Paul supporters have been placed on the ballot to become delegates to the national convention. I am in the ground floor stage of attempting to organize a rally in NE Pa. the weekend before the primary. Any assistance or advice would be appreciated. We could possibly give a wake up call to the flakes from the MSM if all goes well.
This Is Why I'm Voting For RON PAUL ...
Vote RON PAUL 2008

Most heartbreaking was the young mother who asked for a signed copy of the Constitution for her son, "who will never know his dad." He too was just killed in Iraq.
All the other stuff (his issues) are just common sense [to me]. That's how I see them. Of course no other candidates are exercising and/or displaying this same common sense BUT this war really has my attention.
Maybe because I'm a former career soldier myself, but most importantly (I'm sure this to be the reason) I have concerns for my grandchildren. I care about them; GWB and his inner circle of 'friends' (MCCAIN included) could care less about any of them. They've shown that already by their misguided and deeply flawed policies. The next 100 years, my ass -- Bring the troops home now.
Protect our own land. Stay out of unnecessary foreign entanglements. The President of the United States should not be 'President of Iraq' (that's sure in the hell where he spends all our $$, folks -- and where he uses our troops and intends upon keeping them).
Wake the F-up and vote RON PAUL for President. He is truly America's only hope!

I would disagree about 2012. Ron Paul can win in time. he will use the leverage afforded by economic crisis and war.
'I always think of all you canvassors and precinct leaders at the front line.
Good luck out there &Thank you. It's appreciated'.-fip -U.K
Thank you so much for
ALL of your hard work for Ron over there in TEXAS! Remember the NAFTA Superhighyway in your discussions. I would think that one issue alone, would cause all of Texas to vote for Ron!

I know I may be reading into Ron's message here but I think 2012 is in play.
We should be so blessed/lucky
Ron will be 76 in 2012. Not to say he can't run at that age. Reagan did. Nader is running at age 74, McCain is 73 I think, Paul is 72 now. But I would not begrudge Ron if he wanted to retire some day. That said, we would be extremely blessed if he decided to run again in 2012. By then the country will be ready for his message.

New Revolutionary
In 2000 I was a proud George Bush supporter. I just knew that only he could save us from the tyranny of extremisms and leftist mania. I was so happy when the supreme court appointed him, I did not care that the elections were rigged, George was my guy, and he had won! Little did I know that shortly the world would change forever, and with it any hope that GW would do anything good for US.
Today I stand for Ron Paul, a true patriot and a man that understands the meaning of Liberty for All.
Vote Ron Paul!

My leader speaks
...and I listen thoroughly to words of heart-wrenching truth and a proposed path to enlightenment and hope for this country, that has forgotten of this Better Way for so long. In each speech, he says the same damn things, and yet in each speech stirs within me the embers of a righteous fire that would consume the entire country, if only those around me were ready to hear it and fan the flames.
And so I work with resolute urgency. My man-crush on this Hero deepens...
For Liberty!! *gong*
