My Response To "Little Difference Between Parties"
Here is an email that I have sent regarding the following newspaper article:
We have a president who went to war over lies; gave tax breaks to the wealthy in a time of war; outed a CIA agent; tortured in America's name, making us the most-hated nation on earth; and packed the judicial branch with cronies. Under him, we are losing our civil rights and our Constitution. And what's even worse is the Democratic leadership under Nancy Pelosi has done almost nothing to stop or impeach this president. I'm sick of corporate candidates who are run by their big corporate donors and have their interests at heart and not those of the United States of America. But alas, I think there is little difference between corporate Republicans and corporate Democrats. Ron George Somonauk
The author is correct.
Mainstream democrat and republican candidates are different from each other in the same way that coke and pepsi are.
They essentially just pretend to be alternatives to each other for the benefit of the cameras, so that the American people can *feel like they have a choice, while both sides continue just serving the interests of the richest 1% of the population, just in slightly different ways.
This elite owns the mainstream media of our nation, which is why the mainstream media is so willing to enable this modern form of tyranny against the American people.
The only way that a politician can get elected is with mainstream media exposure, and the only politicians who are granted exposure are the ones who are onboard.
This is why a true American statesman like Ron Paul is completely ignored by the mainstream media.
The simple reason for this is that Ron Paul will end the IRS and the entire global empire of corporate welfare that it finances vis-à-vis the “Federal” Reserve System, which in fact is a private institution, mostly owned by European banking houses.
The globalist elite has turned America into their own personal empire, and Ron Paul is the only candidate who will bring it back to the American people before it is too late.
All true American patriots need to vote for Ron Paul.

Regarding the website: If I
Regarding the website:
If I understand it correctly, it will be a database of letters from RP supporters to newspapers all over the country, searchable by date printed, city, newspaper name, etc. I should note that many of these sorting features don't appear to work in Safari on a Mac.
I think the website has a lot of potential, but the instructions on how to use it could be a little more intuitive. For example, is one of the main purposes of the site to allow RP supporters to "cross reply" to newspapers' responses to other RP supporters' letters? If so, this should be made more apparent right off the bat. Also, when I click on the "Email" link, it opens a blank mail addressed to . Where does this email go? It isn't made very clear anywhere. Should I be sending my email to the paper directly, in addtion to contactus@emailblast.com? Or will contactus@emailblast.com send it for me?
Anyhow, keep up the good work and keep us posted here at DP.
Thanks!

How to support RP's cause every day:
1. Don't use credit cards
2. Stamp your cash with RP stamp before spending
3. Take cash out of ATM, stamp, put back in bank
4. Explain to teller why you did #3
5. Repeat
Just ask if you have any more questions
A: The easiest way to explain the overall concept of the website is to first guide you through the following basic introduction:
1 - Click on the letters "USA" on the front page of the site.
2 - Choose a post from the table.
3 - A user has posted this article here because it has been printed in their local newspaper. Now the entire Ron Paul grassroots can respond directly to this article and support Dr. Paul by emailing this newspaper. Any direct responses that appear in print can be added here by this user for all to see. If any negative direct responses are printed from anywhere then those can be added to this post as well. That way we can all defend Ron Paul in this newspaper together. The front page of this website has a map that keeps track of all of this activity nationally so that we can watch the entire process grow. It's like a mass media money bomb that we create ourselves simply by joining this website and participating in the four simple steps presented within.

"gave tax breaks to the wealthy"
I am so sick of the liberal argument about the rich getting the income tax breaks. Just one more argument on the left to divide us. The top 10% pay more than the other 90% combined. The poor don't pay any income taxes and many get refunds in spite of not paying any income taxes (can you say welfare or income transfers).
Keep in mind that RP wants to totally eliminate the income tax. If you are complaining about tax breaks for the wealthy, RP is probably not your candidate. Keep in mind our candidate believes that you can spend your money smarter than Washington can, so I and RP are all for tax cuts, including a 100% tax cut.
I'm not sure if you really read my email
I didn't say a word about rich getting income tax breaks.
I said that Ron is ignored by the MSM because the super rich are financed by the gross misspending enabled by the fed and the IRS.
Please check out www.letters4liberty.org, and let me know what you think.
Yes you did
"I didn't say a word about rich getting income tax breaks."
These are your words not mine:
"gave tax breaks to the wealthy in a time of war;"
I stand by my statement that if you are against tax breaks for the wealthy, RP is probably not your candidate. Saying that the wealthy are only benefiting form the income tax cuts that were passed is the argument and wedge that democrats and liberals use to prevent income tax cuts in the first place.
I believe in major tax cuts or better yet, the elimination of the income tax as does Dr Paul. I also believe that the cuts should benefit those in direct relationship to how much they pay. If they pay 90% of the income tax, they should benefit 90% from the tax cut.
We are at a very scary point in our history in terms of income taxes in that 50% today pay virtually no income taxes. When the majority of our population pays no income taxes, there will be no incentive to change our tax systems. When a minority of our population pays 100% of all income taxes, the left will have it just the way they want it.
miscommunication
My letter is the response beneath.
Check it out.
Also, please check out my project www.letters4liberty.org, and let me know what you think.
Thanks.
I don't
think that he did. I believe the original author "Ron George something" mentioned it. I also believe the original author's intent was to point out that no one in the middle class received significant tax breaks while the very wealthy did. We all agree that the government doesn't have the right to tax our income, but if they are gonna do so and then give breaks to super wealthy people it leaves the rest of us feeling kind of trod upon.
"but if they are gonna do so
"but if they are gonna do so and then give breaks to super wealthy people it leaves the rest of us feeling kind of trod upon."
Suppose that every day, ten men go out for dinner and the bill for all comes to $100.If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this:
The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing like they do now with the present income tax structure.
The fifth would pay $1.
The sixth would pay $3.
The seventh would pay $7.
The eighth would pay $12.
The ninth would pay $18.
The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59 of the bill.
So that is what the ten men decide to do.
The ten men ate dinner in the restaurant every day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve. “Since you all are such good customers I am going to reduce the cost of your daily meal by $20”. Dinner for the 10 men now costs just $80...
The group still wanted to pay the bill the same way that they paid their taxes so the first four men were unaffected. They would still eat for free. But what about the other six men -- the Paying customers? How could they divide the $20 windfall so that everybody would get his “Fair Share”?
They realized that $20 divided by six is $3.33. But they subtracted that from everybody’s share, then the fifth and sixth man would each end up being paid to eat their meal…So, the restaurant owner suggested it would be fair to reduce each mans bill roughly the same amount; and proceeded to work out the amounts each man would pay.
The fifth, like the first four now paid nothing (100% savings).
The sixth man now paid $2 instead of $3 (33% savings)
The seventh man now paid $5 instead of $7 (28% savings)
The eight man now paid $9 instead of $12 (25% savings)
The ninth man now paid $14 instead of $18 (22% savings)
The tenth man now paid $49 instead of $59 (16% savings)
Each of the six was better off then before. And the first four continued to eat for free. But once outside the restaurant, the men began to compare their savings…
“I only got a dollar out of the $20,” declared the sixth man. He pointed to the tenth man “but he got $10”…“Yeah, that’s right,” exclaimed the fifth man. “I only saved a dollar, too. Its unfair that he got ten times more than me!?”“That’s true”, shouted the seventh man. “Why should he get $10 back when I got only two? The wealthy get all the breaks!”“Wait a minute,” yelled the first four men in unison. “We didn’t get anything at all. The system exploit’s the poor!”The nine men surrounded the tenth man and beat him up…
The next night the Tenth man did not show up for dinner, so the Nine sat down and ate without him. But when it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something important. They didn’t have enough money between all of them for even half the bill!
And that Boys & Girls, journalists and college professors, is how our tax system works. The people who pay the highest taxes get the most benefit from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy, and they just might not show up anymore. In fact, they might start eating overseas where the atmosphere is somewhat friendlier…David R. Kamerschen, PH.DProfessor of EconomicsUniversity of Georgia
And that's when...
...the ten men realize they can cook their own food and stop going to the resteraunt at all, but that didn't stop the cook from coming to their house, forcing them to eat his food and demanding payment for it as well. So even though not one of those men asked for any food from the cook, they're forced to pay for it anyway and now they can't spend it on the food they really wanted in the first place.
The argument you presented is absolutely correct, but it is representative of a system that was entirely flawed and unconstitutional to begin with. No man has the right to take from one to give to another. My wages are mine, and no one else has the right to take away from them unless i willingly offer it. that's what sales taxes are for, and they do a plenty good enough job.
(PS. you ever wonder why richer neighborhoods always have nicer roads and better maintenance? cuz even though they pay more taxes, they reap all the benefits of those taxes while the rest of us get shafted or get tossed into aid programs that don't aid anything at all. do you think those first 4 men who get a free lunch enjoy it? knowing they get free food but can't afford to buy a house, or go on vacation, or put their kids through college? is that balanced?)
~I will never again accept the lesser of two evils.~
Rich people and taxes
It is unfair that the most wealthy are paying the greatest portion of income tax.
It is unfair that anyone is paying any portion considering the unconstitutionality of the tax, and also what it funds.
But it's the fed that gobbles up all of this tax, and look at who created that.
The super rich and powerful.
And why did they create it?
So they could get even more super rich and powerful.
So who makes sure that Ron disappears from the airwaves when he starts talking about removing the fed.
The super rich and powerful.
That's all that my point is.
THIRD PARTY RUN!!!!!
PLEASE!!!!! Libertarian Party is set up already on every ballot. Ron just needs to jump on the horse and ride.
"Save the Republican Party from themselves"......
a joke. NOT what I signed up for.
Write in Ron Paul or vote Libertarian?
Which is the better option. I've heard that write in votes won't be counted anyways in some states. I would think we'd want to make our voices heard. Just as Ross Perot got the Republican party to wake up a bit and draft the Contract with America, couldn't we make an impact if we all voted together? Any thoughts?
Well...
Well, I'm not arguing that Ron Should run third party at this point.
However, I am arguing that the Republican party does need to go back to true American values as put forth by Ron Paul, as opposed to just pretending to be conservatives so that we can be led to believe that they are really different from the democrats.
So if you didn't sign up for that change, then what exactly is it that you did sign up for then?
Furthermore, please check out www.letters4liberty.org and let me know what you think.
Thanks
Reform/saving our COUNTRY
I signed up to create a REVOLUTION in this country with regards to status quo, lesser of two evils, bureaucratic establishment hogs gorging themselves at the trough of big government, NO difference between the parties, etc.
It is not just the Republican party that needs to go back to Ron Paul values, it's the WHOLE country, and continuing to facilitate/implicitly give credence to the two-party system current in place is a recipe for limited, innefectual, incremental change at a point in history where a rapid, massive overhaul is required if there is to be any country here worth saving.
The Republican "brand" is now so divisive that convincing ANYONE outside of the current fold to listen to Ron Paul's message is much harder than need be. We need something NEW. A viable, energized Libertarian Party run with Ron Paul manning the flagship is REQUIRED. NOW.
I visited your website. Great idea, but about 4 months too late. HOWEVER....if Ron Paul were to run for president THIRD PARTY your great idea would become invaluable for the education of the masses. I would be a big participant in both writing and spreading the message.
To let this momentum simply die in the name of saving a party or a congressional seat is a truly historic tragedy.
Prediction: 6 months from now we will be back at square one if no third party run, namely - "WHO is Ron Paul????"
response:
Well, for better or for worse, I doubt really doubt that Ron will run third party at this point.
I know, it would have been a lot better if I could have had my site built months ago, but I'm not a programmer and I'm broke, so this was the best that I could do.
On the bright side, if we get this site going for Ron in the next few months that we have, then this will be a tool that the entire freedom movement can use to raise awareness for anything that it wants.
Fraud of the IRS awareness
Fraud of the federal reserve awareness
New 9/11 commission
Etc, etc.
So please help me with this, since this is how we can keep the revolution going no matter what will happen with Ron and the nomination.
I finally managed to get a forum up, so now I can start building an internet community in the standard way to go along with this project.
Hope to see you there soon.
Petar
this is what ive been saying
this is what ive been saying for almost a year now on this site.. THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DEMODUMMY AND RINO REPUBLICAN!
Cool, we agree.
So what do you think of www.letters4liberty.org?
Then Dr. Paul must be Jolt
Then Dr. Paul must be Jolt Cola...:)
