Ron's wife, Carol Paul, is celebrating her birthday this Friday, February 29th!!! ( A Leap Year Baby!!)
There is a simple website setup to encourage everyone to thank her for all she has done this past year by contributing as much as you can to her husband's Presidential Campaign for a birthday gift.
No e-mail address is asked for, no trackers, no page counters on the website, just asking for everyone to remember everyone's favorite First Lady to be on her birthday!!
It would be nice gift if we could get a large number of people LoveRaising at least a few dollars to show her how many people care for her.

The whole money bomb thing has lost it's novelty.
I'll wait to see if the Republican party kicks Ron Paul out in the Texas primary. If it does, there is hope for a real third party movement. Working within the existing Republican structure is a waste of time.

I'm not going to donate until Ron Paul starts campaigning. I've donated over $500 and I feel as though RP campaigned smart or hard enough to give me good value. He needs to do more to get the message out.
It Is An Investment
Imagine the good his campaign is doing for America. Only a few voices are out there try to do what is best for america. Your 500 will come to you later somehow.

Warning: Some of the videos (like the George Carlin one) contain bad langauge. There are lots of user created videos and documentaries and stuff about Mises, the Fed and speeches by Ron Paul. This is not simply an election, it is a movement whose primary goal must be to EDUCATE people. We are trying to turn around over 100 years of political thought and apathy.
It's going to take a lot of money and a lot of effort on our part. Perhaps the Ron Paul campaign has been using the money to set stuff up that will outlast this campaign and influence people for years to come. I too have donated a lot to the campaign, but I wouldn't take or ask for any of my money back. When I donated it, I was trusting Ron Paul to use it as he sees fit, because I believe in his message.

I'm more than a little pissy about the bang we've NOT gotten for our buck from HQ.
STOP typing "troll"..I have every right to ask for accountibility from those acting in RP's stead.... RP has put his trust in these people and what exactly are they doing with all that money, aside from paying themselves a bloated sum to sit on their butts?

I'm maxed out, so I can't donate just to express my annoyance with some of these posts, but wow, it sure is easy to discourage some freedom-fighters.
Why is it so easy to give your power away? What compells you to try and undermine others? It's okay to feel the way you do, but why do you need to try and spread the malaise?
The campaign is spending money. There are people on the payroll in various states, and there are expenses being paid in the office. Just because you don't see it happening, doesn't mean it isn't.
There are 5 more months left to this campaign, and knowing Ron Paul, what you contribute will not be wasted. It is okay to wait and decide when to contribute. It's whimpy to blame the campaign.
Some people are willing to die for this cause.

"The campaign is spending money"...no one said they're not spending money. WHAT they are spending money on is what each and every one of us should be asking.
When my friend in WI called me to ask who to vote for in her primary because Ron Paul dropped out, and I had to convince her that he did no such thing, she then informed me that she saw not one tv ad, not one radio spot, not even a blurb in the paper...NOTHING to suggest that he was there at all.
The meetups can only do so much...they can't put ads on TV, because the campaign holds the purse strings. GET IT???
I am sick and tired of my support being questioned because I have the effrontery to ask why WE are not getting much from the campaign to show for it...every one of us should be asking it!!!!
No Resemblance to Bush
As I stated: you don't have to donate to be with us. You don't have to be optimistic to be with us. If you feel that way, it doesn't mean you're against us. What I said bears no resemblance to anything Bush has said. I don't believe in blind loyalty and I don't defend it.
However, your response proves my point: you are determined to blame others and try to coerce them by getting everyone else to join you in a boycott. (Oh, the drama!! Oh, the double-exclamation marks!!)
The official campaign is getting new donors every day. Those who don't like what HQ does with their money give to any one of several excellent alternative groups and freedom causes.
HQ's expenditures are a matter of public record. HQ took heat when they reduced staff in states that had already voted, so I guess there's no way to make everyone happy. They would be foolish to tell us what their plans are in the future as if the opposition wouldn't find out.
Most of us don't issue ultimatums and try to get others to join in saying to HQ that "I'm not talking to you" or "I'm not playing with you anymore." It isn't helpful to the cause of freedom.
The best way to counter the false media is to become a precinct captain. HQ is paying for state co-ordinators and a whole program to get delegates. In some states it makes no sense to spend money to get straw poll results. Delegates are what count.
The last thing I'll say on this, is "Happy Birthday Mrs. Paul." I wish I hadn't maxed out already.

How Will Ron Paul Vote? How Should You Vote?
On the video posted on this site where Ron Paul is interviewed recently by Neil Cavuto, He is asked if he would vote for John McCain. The answer, "No." When asked if he would vote for Obama (Cavuto knows to not even ask about Hillary), Dr. Paul says, "No." When asked who will you vote for, Dr. Paul responds, "Well, I'll vote for somebody."
I believe I know who that somebody is, and its the same person I'm voting for in the general election. Dr. Paul has already conceded that there will be no brokered Convention, and that all we can do is try to influence the Convention with the ideas Dr. Paul has promoted and stood for.
Since it is likely (barring a disaster of some kind AND a miracle) that John McCain will be the Republican nominee and Obama will be the Democratic nominee and Dr. Paul has ruled out a third party run and he will not vote for either nominee, it seems clear to me that the only alternative is a super-duper, massive, patriotic, seize-control-of-our-government WRITE-IN campaign, by which we can take vengeance on the political establishment and the media by making a mark that will never be forgotten and cannot be swept under the rug, in which we all WRITE-IN RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT! How about it?
Important! It cannot start until AFTER we have exhausted all opportunity to effect change in the Republican Party Convention. If the GOP does not listen to the Ron Paul delegates, then we must effect a massive desertion and begin the most incredible, aggressive, unapologetic WRITE-IN CAMPAIGN our country has ever seen!
There is no difference between John McCain and Hillary or Obama, just different colors of handcuffs for the American people.
Unless Ron Paul himself advises otherwise, that's what I am going to work for and that's how I will vote in the general election.

How About VP
For the Constitution or Libertarian Party. That way it does not seem he lied and he still gets our votes. He always says HE IS NOT MAKING A PRESIDENTIAL RUN. I say accepting the VP for one of those parties is the real question.
What a great idea
I'd vote for a Howard Phillips/Ron Paul ticket in a heart beat. The problem is what happens if he is trying to run for Congress on the GOP ticket and at the same time running for VP on the Constitution ticket? Whatever the problem is would likely only apply in Texas, so it is conceivable he could just not run for VP in Texas, and that a different VP candidate could be on the ballot in his stead.
