We must write her and praise her for her wonderful, enlightened and respectful interview with Ron Paul!!! And ask her to PLEASE have him on again, as a regular!
She was truly delightful & knew the content of her topic with Dr. Paul. Imagine how much larger his following would be if ALL reporters conducted professional interviews this way...fair reporting. Thank You Alexis!
Ever notice how Bernanke always smirks when Paul talks to him? Psychologists will tell you that's a sign of fear and discomfort. When you make a powerful person uncomfortable (by besting him in a debate, for example), he will either blow up in your face and show you who's boss, or, if he doesn't have that option (as Bernanke does not, given the setting), he will smirk and look down his nose at you in condescending fashion. This is an attempt to bolster one's own confidence in an uncomfortable situation by affecting a superior posture.
On the other hand, if that person is comfortable in his position, he will either rudely interrupt you to interject what he knows to be correct, or, if he doesn't have that option (as Bernanke does not, given the setting), he will remain calm and politely wait his turn to surgically dismantle you. There is no need to appear smug in such a situation, especially given the setting; besting your opponent in a gentlemanly fashion adds to your credibility and reputation.
Clearly, Paul makes Bernanke very uncomfortable, indeed. :-)
that Romney always made whenever Ron Paul was talking in the debates. That cocky smirk is always a dead giveaway. Or as the news anchor on Fox Business Channel said to Ron Paul, Bernanke had "that 'I want to kill you look'" when addressing Ron Paul. I thought so, too!
to pitch a show idea for fox business. 30 minutes with Ron Paul. I told him to think of it as a Howard Beale type experiment. He said he would consider it. He might have been humoring me, but he did listen to what I had to say.
Dr. Paul is SO in his element in a straightforward, intelligent conversation about economic issues.
I hope people who watched but never heard of Dr. Paul before this interview will realize how well-versed he is, how much respect people with economic and financial backgrounds have for him, and will want to learn more about this intelligent, educated, and truly wise man.
This is the most outstanding "news" interview I've ever heard Dr. Paul give. How utterly impressive!
It's funny... Fox politics is openly biased and acidic toward Paul and Gravel. But Fox business treats him like he actually knows what he's talking about. And this isn't the first time Paul has been given a respectful interview on Fox's business segment.
Props to Fox's business anchors. Y'all are a helluva lot better than your political anchor counter-parts.
like the expert on the subject that he is! Definitely post supportive comments on her blog and Digg this video.
There was none of the condescension or snarky comments we usually associate with FOX News, which is refreshing. THEY may think RP's out of the race, but WE know better.
This is good exposure on an issue of great concern to voters. Reward it and we may get more good treatment!
Ron Paul 2008: The most important vote of your life
I'm wondering if this is another terror tactic from our wonderful gov. to move us into a North American partnership or to join a global monitary system. Citing a strong econemy if the three nations joined, or the start of wold banking. I would watch for these to come.
All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent. Thomas Jefferson
Have you noticed how nice the media is to Ron Paul now that they believe he is out of the race? Even the other candidates sound more and more like Ron Paul now. It shows you what two-faced phonies they are, both the mass media and the other candidates.
Post on her blog. I think some people did serious damage to the campaign at the start with the negative posts. Many newspapers and blogs did have terrible threatening stuff on them if they said bad things about Dr. Paul. I remember when it was getting hot before Iowa Dr. Paul spent alot of time distancing himself from the crazies amongst us..
Pound it home baby!!!!!! We arent getting out of this until we fire all politicians!!!! Ron Paul is a statesman we need all statesman not politicians!!! Fire them all!!!
Ron Paul is catching on. Do not even begin to think about throwing in the towel for the presidency. With the confusion and urgency of change to our monitary system corruption, this could be the very bomb we need to put Ron Paul in the Oval office.
Lets keep working on delegates and precinct leaders. Continue the surge.
Spread all of the recent videos of Ron Paul being interviewed by anyone concerning our monitary policy.
We have put a check beside accomplishing many messages, from the war in Iraq to our welfare state, now we can check off the monitary message. Continue spreading the word.
Go Ron Paul Patriots!
with his wisdom and common sense.
i'm glad he plugged "austrian economics" at the end.....hopefully some people will have heard that and perhaps do some research into what that is all about.
i think this was a very good interview for a fox news interview....the woman
was very respectful of dr. paul and i think she did "get it" about the debasement of the currency......
i enjoyed it immensely.
and that huge monetary loss hurt. Perhaps we should all watch live the fox program when Paul is on, then turn it off? I'm sure they would notice, and more then anything, Murdoch wants money.
wow, I think she is a Ron Paul supporter- good for her. She actually spoke rationally and understood the issues and didnt ask the famous question-"when are you going to run third party"
Watch this - then please post to her Blog (link below) and THANK her for a FAIR & candid look at Ron Paul's views on the Fed & the economy.
Surprising open-ness & candor from a Fox-(business) news anchor.
She is not just another anchor - she is the Vice_President of Fox Business Network. She is a heavyweight there - only second to Neil Cavuto. (her name is Alexis Glick)
She's no bubble-head either - she used to be an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley.
She sounds like someone who is seriously considering his economic message, perhaps even personally.
Let's all write to her & encourage this type of behavior - by way of applauding her.
" Can you imagine if Bernake would have said this yesterday, I mean, there would have been huge panic, but denying the truth is very bad too. ...I think we are in uncharted territory, to tell you the truth, I don't think we've seen a situation like this where the world has been engulfed with fiat currency."
Ron Paul nails Bernakes' lack of candor, and strips away this illusion of the emperors' latest fashion of lies.
excellent interview...
excellent interview... finally someone who works for MSM that gets it!
Loving her!!!

She Blogged About It Again
She is wanting him on the show. As this economy gets worse by the week, Dr. Paul can really show McCain has zero grasp of economics. Same with Obama.
