"respect for private property and individual liberties restored, and we must return to the limited-government ideals of our Founding Fathers. Any other course will doom our nation to the dustbin of history."
We have allowed ourselves to become so accustomed to left-right welfare-warfare conditioning, that to make any suggestion outside the norm elicits knee-jerk reactions from those stuck in this matrix.
Our current economic crisis may awaken many who would otherwise take two mortgages and then go back to bed. It's up to us to help those waking up by leading them on the only course that will spare us from "the dustbin of history."
I can't wait for the bumper sticker. I early voted in Texas last night and it feels great! I had to stand in line for 3 hours though and listen to silly drivel about Obama the whole time. My girlfriend and I were the only Republicans in a 400 person line, we'll except for 1 crazy Huckabee supporter who wouldn't stop talking about how his candidate was the only one who would abolish the IRS. Ridiculous. I would have set him straight but he was 30 people ahead of me and I didn't want to be the other crazy white dude yelling about the income tax in a crowd of 98%Democrats. After listening to that crowd though it is obvious that Obama supporters understand about zilch on the issues, but they are really excited to vote for their guy. really depressing. The sheep have a new shepherd.
