sorry to second a post that i originally wrote a few evenings ago after listening to betterhalf continually give our members a hard time...betterhalf likes to censor our posts and comments,,,,poo poo all our research , data, opinions and just generally dampen the mood of people waking up and wanting learn about what is happening in the world right now. we are here to support the good DR. and all his beliefs, and yet other than a few weak off handed attempts to make us believe he/she does as well, all ive ever gotten from betterhalf is a very bad taste in my mouth, usually in the middle of very bright and insightful exchange of ideas between us....so lets shed a little light on this less than friendly supporter???my suggestion is that if betterhalf really cared about Dr. Paul , he/she would certainly show a more open , friendly, and encouraging attitude....i find this current outlook very predictable, negative and quite frankly boring....

I get lot of entertainment out of the movies; a wide range -- from horror to love stories (and everything in between) -- and yet there seems to be at the same time a bit of education I absorb, intentional or otherwise; maybe it has something to do with the old saying a picture is worth a 1000 words. And maybe you can relate to what I'm saying.
As to how I see this particular thread, and how I relate the same to my opening remarks -- In the movies there is a common theme, i.e., the guy that knows too much, that has something that others might consider important not to be known // Hey, that's the guy the real bad guys try their best to silence. To rub out, to sleep with the fishes -- if you can get my meaning in saying that.
What I'm trying to relay here is certain folks simply DO NOT wish to have others speaking their mind for no other reason than the TRUTH can be something the otherside doesn't wish to have KNOWN because it can be very unpleasant and disruptive to their own intent. And perhaps you can understand my meaning saying that as well.
I mean who cares what a bumbling idiot has to say? // Very few people, I would offer as example // It's the person with knowledge on a certain subject that certain others would prefer stay hidden that seems to always be the cause for alarm.
Perhaps that's why we hear (read): BAN, FLAG, DELETE certain postings in this forum -- not because the person posting is an idiot -- but because the person posting has something to say that upsets the apple cart of those who would wish certain matters would remain hidden in shadows. I find it surfaces quite often when the subject turns to 9/11, for example. But again, I get my outlook on humanity in many cases from the themes of movies -- and movies never show us the reality do they. Like hell they don't. Pay attention and learn something.
All I can say to betterhalf is:
you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink....
Keep drinking from the 'nectar' of the indoctrinating stuff you have learned over the years from MSM and they have you exactly where they would want everyone: in the paddock as part of the big herd.

I have, like some others here, moved out of the big city and created a small holding so at least I will be able to grow my own food which I regard as my medicine.

I hang out on other sites more than here now. The exchange of ideas on this site has dropped significantly in the last month and a half. Sure, the revolution has fallen on hard times, but that's no excuse to go 'troll hunting.'
Hopefully, things shape up around here, because I really enjoyed some of the postings.
I'm committed to this movement, and I will stand by Ron until the bitter end. More importantly, I will carry this revolutionary spirit in EVERY election cycle until the day I die.

We are individuals with our own ideas of what should be done and how we should support Dr Paul. I was fine with this post until betterhalf said that everything will not end tomorrow. This got my anger stirred.
No everything is not going to end tomorrow. It has taken a long time for things to get this bad. The sad part is I think it is too late to help the US or the World survive this problem.
Let me tell you what I see coming!
The dollar will keep dropping, for people just like me, will keep buying gold and silver in hopes it continues. Once we have full economic collapse( and I mean this will be worldwide) we can start to rebuild. No we are not just in a recession but We Are headed straight into an economic collapse. You do not have to believe me just keep watching the value of the dollar. When the DOW drops between 1k and 3k in one day it is over.
At this point the country and the world NEEDS to fall so the honest people of this world can help each other and the rest can do what they allways do.(Prey on each other) The next two years is NOT going to be easy but some of us will survive. The two after that will continue to have a hard time and more will perish. This will be their choice. It is not the strong that will survive but the ones willing to help others that will.
Now that I've given you all the negative what are you going to do about it. You can give up hope or you can make a difference. I am tired of seeing negative posts on this site so I just gave the most truthful and honest post you are ever going to read. The only way to stop what I wrote is to personally do something about it.
Me! I will just continue buying gold and guns. In between trying to help Ron Paul and like minded individual get elected

I will keep watching...Unfortunately I have seen us go through some bad times..the Carter economy was a disaster and I had to wait in line to buy gasoline and could only buy it on odd or even days....yes, things look bad and will not get better soon..However, I just don't see the global financial collapse you do..the stock market can only fall so far in one day before trading halts...I don't own any gold or a gun..If the world collapses. what are you going to do with your gold ? you can't eat it, cannnot use it to fuel a car, or heat your home with...if what your suggesting happens we are pretty well screwed and there is no planning that could survive for any real length of time

I have been watching the coming fall of this country for a long time and I started making my own plans a few years back. Although we can't know exactly what will happen in the future, we can still read the righting on the wall and make plans. It may be to late for some and impossible for others but those of us who have had our eyes open for some time now and have been preparing still have a chance. Your right about the futility of buying gold, silver etc... When the collapse comes none of those things will help one bit. You need to concentrate on things people need so you may be able to barter.
Whether economic collapse or a police state I realized that there would be no way to hold out if I stayed in that shithole called Houston. So I moved to the country far off the beaten path. Land I can farm, raise livestock and hunt. Among other things I am slowly stocking food and ammo and trying to be more indepentent from the "needs" of this world. So when the time comes I will be self sufficent as long as need be.
I know, I know. there are many things that the government can do to sink my plans. But I have decided that this is where I make my last stand. A stand that would be impossible if I still lived in Houston.
Am I a nut or a wacko? Time will tell. But it's better than just sitting around with no plan at all. And if nothing does happen, I am still better off than before.
I am very close to Houston but I too have
a place to go and enough stored fuel in order to get me there; far enough outside of Houston so that I will not be convenient to a scavenging population. You were very right to get out.

My family has been vacinated and no one has been poisoned..Just spoke with my daughter who is a school teacher..told her what we were discussing..She thought it was sad because she said that so many people have been misled by facts on drugs that many of the parents of her kids that have attention defecit disorder have been scared out of giving them their medicne, causing the kids in her words to "suffer tremendously physically" and to be "almost impossible to teach".....trying to scare the crap out of people can be both harmful and good...it's makes people sit and shutter in their own shadows..there is nothing 100% safe in this world

This is were this gets sad. Now our kids suffer from ADD. Sure they do. I'll assume your daughter teaches in a public school. Not the greatest place to send a child who is active. Tell your daughter us parents are just fine. Perhaps she should research the possible connection between ADD and toxins that disrupt the nervous system. People have their own reasons for supporting a candidate and I have one large issue that brought me to Dr Paul...Second, why do folks like DaveMac feel that Dr Paul has enough support and if people leave it's no big deal...Third, how big a revolution do you think this is that you can use crazy terms like "mole" or "subversives" ?..This is not some foreign government secret foreign policy..Fourth, 90% of you that have posted here did not accurately state what I said or posted....Finally, there are about 500 people watching here..How dumb do you think you make us Ron Paul supporters look by having threads like this one, or ones that the market will crash tomorrow, or ones that promote stuffing some online poll, or ones that say we will run out of food in a month, or ones that everything in the entire world is a conspiracy..Unless I'm wrong the number of people on this site has been going way down and in the last few primaries we have been getting less and less support.....Hopefully we can do better Tuesday, but the polls I see say no..Are we trying to grow this movement, or are we content to let the inmates run the asylum..It's up to you to decide !!

I can even bring myself to read the posts below. I find it interesting that a group of individuals who are so "open minded" can't handle any contrary beliefs from others here at the DailyPaul. If you express any disapointment, negativity, or dare to question our Hero, posters are automatically labeled Trolls.
Fact is most most people are Trolls when they post, seeking or "fishing" for some response, any response, in an effort to be noticed for thier point, insight or advice.
It's time to realize that in-depth discussion, including ALL sides of an argument is healthy. It only serves to make you a better persuasive debater which is a skill that will be necessary to wake the masses up.
Oh by the way, calling people names reminds me of the kindergarten like behavior we see in the halls of government across the country.
My advice: (as if you'll listen)
Either convince your "trolls" why they are wrong and hone your skills OR just ignore them and take away their power to spread their message.

Some of us here still go out EVERY DAY and talk to people about Ron Paul. It is a steep learning curve and is not easy discussing with say an Obama supporter. The flat ignorance of the majority of people that walk America is almost heartbreaking sometimes. However, some of us keep plugging away... one soul at a time, as it were.

I really appreciate most of your input and enthusiasm here at DailyPaul so please don't misunderstand me. I wouldn't like to see you leave, however, last I knew (and I'll admit I don't know much) this is an OPEN Forum, largely a Free and Open Maket site.
If a more regulated site is what you prefer, then perhaps you should go elsewhere to "recharge", but please come back and contribute to the "messy" DailyPaul when you feel better.
Lastly, to you and all of the pro-moderator posters here, I would like to ask a question. Not to create strife, but to really understand those of you who are clearly "true" supporters but clearly have some internal struggles with Paul's message.

I would like to think that in a society such as the one Ron Paul advocates, people can come together behind a candidate they support even though they might not agree with him on EVERY issue. I personally DO happen to be in lockstep with the good Dr. on just about all of his stances, but there are also people I know who are still very big RP supporters even though they may disagree with his stance on certain issues (mostly social in nature). That's the point I was trying to make. Goodness.

you are not the only one who can see thru betterhalf and you are not the first to point him out!! Alot of people coming to his defense many not have had the opportunity to see his other posts that are designed to provoke not promote. When you think through alot of his comments, they come into direct conflict of everything this revolution stands for. Though like you I haven't tried to flag or censor, just alert others to his game.
This guy is truely a master, (much better than the ones listed) he brought friends to fuel his "fires". He is easy to spot for some. All you have to do is watch the recent comments, just about any post that seems "off" is him!! :)
