Is John Williams credible?

I usually turn to Bob Brinker when I hear the gloom and doom because he usually puts it into perspective however, is John Williams credible?
What's this man's history concerning predicting the economy?
Brinker always says rapid growth is the sign of a coming depression or recession, and says tight money is the problem but that is kind of the opposite of what everyone else says.

Williams has been a main source of accurate economic data over the last 15 years? He gets paid big money by some of the largest companies in the world to make sure they keep their assets safe.

Yeah I found the website, I was just hoping for a little more, becuase there was a guy saying there was going to be a huge recession in 1997.
In retrospect he was off by a couple years with the 40% decline.
Brinker predicted the 87 crash and the 2001 crash.
