Torrorist set fires to upscale homes in Seattle suburb.

Authorities said the fires were started by Eco Terrorist............FBI is on top it............What the hell is a Eco Terrorist anyway? I cant imagine a tree hugger would burn down a home in protest only so more trees can be cut for the rebuild. I call Bull Shit! We'll just have to keep an eye on this one.

deibold sale

Is anyone concerned about the pending sale of Deibold to United Technologies, one of the largest multlinational firms in the world with a Board of Directors comprised of people like RICHARD B. MYERS?

Meyers is a Ret. U.S. Air Force General, served as Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff from 2001 to 2005. He was the principal military adviser to President George W. Bush, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, and the National Security Council. Gen. Myers previously served as Vice Chairman, which included acting as Chairman of the Joint Requirements Oversight Council, Vice Chairman of the Defense Acquisition Board, and member of the National Security Council Deputies Committee and the Nuclear Weapons Council. He also serves on the boards of Aon Corp., Deere & Company, and Northrop Grumman. Gen. Myers is the Foundation Professor of Military History at Kansas State University and holds the Colin Powell Chair for Leadership, Ethics and Character at the National Defense University. He is a member of the Central Intelligence Agency's External Advisory Board, the Defense Policy Board and the Department of State's Transformation Diplomacy Advisory Board. Gen. Myers has been a UTC director since September 2006.

why did you disrupt this thread?

Post it as a "new thread" you're off subject

diebold rejected the bid

Fortune Favors the Bold

diebold is still controlled by carlyle
to me it looks like this is a bit of a power struggle between the neo-cons, who favor overt imperialism with the US as the king maker, and the fabians who favor incremental economic mercantilism
their ultimate goals are the same, but they differ slightly on tactics.
this goes back to the nelson/david rockefeller split of the early seventies
but both the neo-cons and the fabians have significant influence on all the major candidates except for paul of course

BS!

Sounds more like an insurance scam to me. Housing markets are not doin' so "hot", so to speak. All these model homes belong to the same developer/owner? The ultra rich get by with just about anything. I'd say "terrorism" is the scape goat to a fat insurance claim...............

Will probably be alot more of this type of things happening as it could also usher in 1995 as mentioned below.

You do understand that

all it will take is one violent event that involves a Ron Paul sign and our little group is on the list and our rights are GONE.

Nah. It would take a pattern

Nah. It would take a pattern of acts over time. Just look at ELF and PETA.

Why Would Tourists Want to Burn Down Homes?

You would think they'd be happy that new homes were being built so that fewer people whould stay in hotels, and hotel prices could come down.

Where were the tourists from? If they were looking for burning homes, they should try Southern California or other parts of the southwest. Don't they know that volcanoes and mudslides are the disasters available to people in Washington? Earthquakes, if you're lucky?

I don't understand these tourists, or what they have to do with Ron Paul.

IMissLiberty

Most were from Cleveland

they picked up the "painted" signs at the Fed building in Seattle.

We should be careful

We should be careful when we allow them to use the term "terrorist" for everything that happens. They will be targeting any group they disagree with soon.

no way

These were NOT terrorist acts. The ELF would not leave hand painted signs. Those were left so the American public would know who "they" want to blame. BS. This makes HR 1955 look like a good idea. That's the point.

ELF is notorious for leaving

ELF is notorious for leaving their initials at locations they attack.

actually, the ELF would leave painted signs

Fortune Favors the Bold

but your points are valid

They are aware of HR 1955

Leaving signs is suicide.

you don't understand the ELF

Fortune Favors the Bold

they aren't exactly rational

I do

I also understand they have no formal structure. So "anyone" could have left a sign. "Anyone"

exactly

Fortune Favors the Bold

there is no "ELF" really. The ELF is just a set of guidelines and an ideology. Any individual who wants to say they are ELF can. Now I am not saying the ELF did this, and i think it is serious bad news that they are classifying this as terrorism. I'm just trying to look at it objectively.

Regarding who did it, MSM

Regarding who did it, MSM certainly put the term domestic "terrrorism" into all viewers' mind...trumpeting for HR 1955

Since when did an “arsonist” become a “terrorist”?

I don't care who did it, it was "arson" .

The homes were vacant. Who were they supposed to be "terrorizing"? The insurance companies?

Because of the Slogan - They are trying to stop development

Or make it look like a terrorist act, but it's really not. It's a TV plot, and arsonists aren't known to be very smart.

IMissLiberty

you got it

This was a set up and now they will sic the dogs on the ELF.

Are you free to firebomb any

Are you free to firebomb any business or housing development you disagree with? Are you free to destroy a million dollars worth of vehicles you dislike (happened in Los Angeles)? I dunno, but those seem like terror tactics to me.

What about gangs? Do they not terrorize because they attempt to protect their drug traffic from the police?

I believe that drug enforcement needs to be eliminated by making drugs legal and taxable, but aggressive pro-Earth and pro-animal 'terrorists' are a different matter.

Hard to believe!

Could also be bankers trying to collect on their insurance policy! I know that when I was growing up close to Detroit, Devil's night was a great way of getting rid of unwanted homes, perhaps bankers want to ease supply pressures and are donating to radical environmental groups? Just a theory,

Terrorists are...

... simply people who disagree with government policy. Get used to it, yous will be hearing the term, at close hand, a lot more in the coming months.

Could be they are prepping us for an event

Since Bush lied about the war I have a very hard time believing the government. Which sucks. If there is a major terrorist event our dollar will die and the sh%t will really hit the fan. Chavez is serious about Columbia, etc. Crazy.

This whole story smells like BS

Makes NO sense ELF burning down homes right after they pass HR 1955 and leaving a sign. No sense. They should investigate the owner/developer and nail him to a wall if he tried to use HR1955 and the ELF to bail his sorry ass out.

They're Here

No, burning unfinished houses doesn't make sense, but ELF has
done such things before and had expressed pride in it. The list
of destruction is a significant one and their defense is that no one
has been hurt when doing such things.

It didn't make any sense when they burned up SUVs in a new
car lot in Eugene, Oregon a few years ago. The amount of toxic
fumes unleashed into the surrounding neighborhood, not to
mention the fear it caused, was far greater than the controlled
exhaust of an automobile. But it didn't make sense to burn down
a ranger station or attempt to blow up a fuel depot.

When located, indicted, and tried years later they confessed and
declared their romantic stupidity. Coincidentally, one of the
perps recently had his sentence reduced a few days
ago. Perhaps this was a means of celebrating the reduction in
sentence.

No One Hurt - what utter nonsense

Sure, not directly. But imagine all the money out of pocket for any company, and ultimately, the individuals who own/run them, for all the losses they've just incurred.

If you don't think that affects people's lives, read "Economics in One Lesson" by Henry Hazlitt.

And besides - it is destruction of property that does not belong to them. Nothing justifies the initiation of violence in this way.

Ghegis Khan

Kelldor, I agree with you.

Kelldor, I agree with you. If there's something that's unconstitutional, it's HR 1955 and SR 1959. I posted information about this on Y!A and everybody said I was crazy. I read the bill thoroughly and I didn't buy not even one bit of it. I was born in Seattle and was shocked to see this. I wonder what those fools on Y!A think now. No more of this unconstitutional BS we need to revolt now!

Not looking forward to HR1955/SR1959

HR1955/SR1959 sicken me, literally! I feel physically ill right now just thinking about it. This is going to be law soon, and I dread for what life will be like shortly. Imagine the ramifications of this law should we be under it durring a NSPD51/HSPD20 martial law situation resulting from a dollar crash or economic collapse that sparked food riots.

Shame on ELF! ELF has done much damage over the years in the NW. It probably really is them, although I would not put it past the gov't to do something like this as a false flag for justification to pass this, but ELF has hit other expensive housing projects in the past in the NW. Either way, this event will be used as justification to pass that abominable legislation.

W3 R $0 $cr3w3d, d00d!

Just glad

they didn't try to blame it on Iran.

nope not terrorists... just

nope not terrorists... just criminals! plain and simple!

No ELF is a real group.

The damn houses they build are on pristien ocean front views and should have been burned down. Oregonians take their beautiful lanscape and enviorment seriously. The Earth Liberation Front (ELF) is a real group of crazies hippie tree huggers.

?

If they take it so seriously, they'd seriously raise the money to seriously purchase that property from it's seriously rightful owner.

What an idiotic concept.

I own my property. I bought it. I sacrificed LOTS of extras so that I could buy it. Some idiot wants to burn down my house.....He'll run right into the Second Amendment.

Thank God I'm in Texas.

looks very suspicious

it seems the 5 mansions have been on the market since July 2007.
http://www.seattlestreeto...

The homes were unoccupied and for sale.
one of the homes just recently received and offer and was accepted, another offer was expected this week.
I wonder how much the offer was for. Pretty close timing.
http://www.seattlestreeto...

Well, I think were going to start seeing a lot of crimes being blamed on terrorism, with these groups being blamed in particular: christians, tax protestors, animal rights groups, environmental groups,militias....

Look for these key words the media will use when reporting: "terrorism ,radical ,cells ,militants, extremists..."

Sounds like

an arson job to me with the housing market going down the drain...
better get some insurance out of it than possibly a no sale for quite some time

That's the first thing I

That's the first thing I thought of.

WTC BLDG. #7

Remember the past as you look forward to today...

I agree this is hella suspicious

Fortune Favors the Bold

But it could have been the ELF. They do sometimes do stuff like this. At any rate, arson should be arson. Whether your motive is political, revenge, or just senseless destruction, it is irrelevant. I hate the notion of treating crimes differently based on motive. It is a slippery slope.

So true

I've never really understand why the same crime gets treated differently based on motive. A murder victim is still dead, a vandalized car is still damaged, and an assault victim is still injured. So why does motive matter? I guess I just don't get it.

Three men were sitting in a bar in Hawaii..

And after talking for a while realized they were all there because they had had catrostrophic episodes at there houses back home.. and had all collected their insurance premiums and moved to hawaii..

One said.. yeah I had a fire start in my garage that burned my whole house... the other said.. yeah my fire started in the basement of my house, and wiped it out...
The third guy said... Oh.. I had a flood that wiped my house out...

Confused and curious, the other two looked at him and whispered..

hey buddy... how did you cause the flood????

hahahaha

They also called them homegrown terrorists

Does that sound familiar to anyone? It has begun. HR1955, here we come. Keep up the great work everyone.

We must now

secretly monitor all environmental organizations and their affiliates such as the humane society and their associates such as pet adopters...they are the subversive types - many of them who own dogs also belong to the GOA or NRA which are affiliated to the RP campaign.........

Wow..

And I thought homegrown terrorist were home cannabis growers

They are arent

They are arent they?.........(i pray you see my sarcasm as i saw yours)

Be Carefull What You Repeat!

The MSM, the mouth-peice for the NEOCONs and One-Worlders, want all crimes in this nation to eventually be called acts of terrorism.

The story line should have read "an extremist environmental group turned to arson, and burned down three newly built Mansions in the Seattle Washington area today, because they claimed the homes were built in an area that will harm the environment.

hjschaapman

Eco Terrorist

They are a rabbits, raccoons and squirrels that are mas as hell for no apparent reason.
