Torrorist set fires to upscale homes in Seattle suburb.

Is anyone concerned about the pending sale of Deibold to United Technologies, one of the largest multlinational firms in the world with a Board of Directors comprised of people like RICHARD B. MYERS?

Sounds more like an insurance scam to me. Housing markets are not doin' so "hot", so to speak. All these model homes belong to the same developer/owner? The ultra rich get by with just about anything. I'd say "terrorism" is the scape goat to a fat insurance claim...............

You would think they'd be happy that new homes were being built so that fewer people whould stay in hotels, and hotel prices could come down.

Where were the tourists from? If they were looking for burning homes, they should try Southern California or other parts of the southwest. Don't they know that volcanoes and mudslides are the disasters available to people in Washington? Earthquakes, if you're lucky?

These were NOT terrorist acts. The ELF would not leave hand painted signs. Those were left so the American public would know who "they" want to blame. BS. This makes HR 1955 look like a good idea. That's the point.

I believe that drug enforcement needs to be eliminated by making drugs legal and taxable, but aggressive pro-Earth and pro-animal 'terrorists' are a different matter.

Could also be bankers trying to collect on their insurance policy! I know that when I was growing up close to Detroit, Devil's night was a great way of getting rid of unwanted homes, perhaps bankers want to ease supply pressures and are donating to radical environmental groups? Just a theory,

Makes NO sense ELF burning down homes right after they pass HR 1955 and leaving a sign. No sense. They should investigate the owner/developer and nail him to a wall if he tried to use HR1955 and the ELF to bail his sorry ass out.

No, burning unfinished houses doesn't make sense, but ELF has
done such things before and had expressed pride in it. The list
of destruction is a significant one and their defense is that no one
has been hurt when doing such things.

It didn't make any sense when they burned up SUVs in a new
car lot in Eugene, Oregon a few years ago. The amount of toxic
fumes unleashed into the surrounding neighborhood, not to
mention the fear it caused, was far greater than the controlled
exhaust of an automobile. But it didn't make sense to burn down
a ranger station or attempt to blow up a fuel depot.

When located, indicted, and tried years later they confessed and
declared their romantic stupidity. Coincidentally, one of the
perps recently had his sentence reduced a few days
ago. Perhaps this was a means of celebrating the reduction in
sentence.

Kelldor, I agree with you. If there's something that's unconstitutional, it's HR 1955 and SR 1959. I posted information about this on Y!A and everybody said I was crazy. I read the bill thoroughly and I didn't buy not even one bit of it. I was born in Seattle and was shocked to see this. I wonder what those fools on Y!A think now. No more of this unconstitutional BS we need to revolt now!

HR1955/SR1959 sicken me, literally! I feel physically ill right now just thinking about it. This is going to be law soon, and I dread for what life will be like shortly. Imagine the ramifications of this law should we be under it durring a NSPD51/HSPD20 martial law situation resulting from a dollar crash or economic collapse that sparked food riots.

Shame on ELF! ELF has done much damage over the years in the NW. It probably really is them, although I would not put it past the gov't to do something like this as a false flag for justification to pass this, but ELF has hit other expensive housing projects in the past in the NW. Either way, this event will be used as justification to pass that abominable legislation.

Well, I think were going to start seeing a lot of crimes being blamed on terrorism, with these groups being blamed in particular: christians, tax protestors, animal rights groups, environmental groups,militias....

Look for these key words the media will use when reporting: "terrorism ,radical ,cells ,militants, extremists..."

But it could have been the ELF. They do sometimes do stuff like this. At any rate, arson should be arson. Whether your motive is political, revenge, or just senseless destruction, it is irrelevant. I hate the notion of treating crimes differently based on motive. It is a slippery slope.

And after talking for a while realized they were all there because they had had catrostrophic episodes at there houses back home.. and had all collected their insurance premiums and moved to hawaii..

The story line should have read "an extremist environmental group turned to arson, and burned down three newly built Mansions in the Seattle Washington area today, because they claimed the homes were built in an area that will harm the environment.
