observation from the ground in Austin Texas
It seems that most Republicans in Austin consider McCain a "lock". I have seen very few Republicans come through my polling station where I was waving the Ron Paul banner. If this is the case, I believe Ron Paul has a chance to pull far greater numbers than originally anticipated. It is my hope anyway. It appears that only the dedicate Ron Paul supporters are showing up to vote in the Texas Republican primary.

In our small down of Keller
In our small down of Keller (D/FW) @32,000 people I put 2 Ron Paul signs at every polling site...same..no other republican signs. As of 2pm when I voted there were 572 votes....124 where for republicans. Either alot of republicans switched over to vote or they are going to take a beating the the general. Another funny thing about taking a 4 year old to the polls. It's hard to keep them from saying "Ron Paul" 10 times while you are filling out the ballet.
Daddy, did you mark Ron Paul?
Is that black mark for Ron Paul Daddy?
When does Ron Paul get on one of those president $1 coins daddy?
Daddy all these people must like Ron Paul too because he is so smart!
And if you don't have a 4 year old they don't usually understand when to whisper!
I took my 2 1/2 year old to
I took my 2 1/2 year old to the polls with me here in VA. When we were leaving, the lady handed us "I Voted" stickers with a flag on them. My son proudly proclaimed, "Ron Paul's flag!" I couldn't have been prouder!
The Missing Piece!
That's what we're missing! 4-year-olds for Paul! Loan them out to Ron Paul voters. Get them interviewed on the news. Perfect.

Cedar Park #216 (Austin
Cedar Park #216 (Austin area) I know of 4 voters for RP... So I go vote this morning to see Shillary signs every place... oh, and a Huckelberry. That was un-acceptable, so I grabbed my yard sign, took it to the school and placed in with the rest... Then I went to N. Austin RP center and grabbed 6 more... Took 2 more back to the school, placed 1 at each sign leading into my precinct, then went to my adjoining precincts and placed them next to the Dingleberry signs... Mean people on the phone when I asked them to vote for RP. Big Demo area... They get what they deserve.. I will awake in the morning not feeling like I slept with a lady of the night.....

In California - Signs Must be 100 Feet Away
No T-Shirts, buttons, flyers or signs are permitted within 100 feet of the polling place in case it intimidates the voters.

In Dallas Suburb
I put out Ron Paul signs in front of my precinct polling station at 5 pm this morning, at noon they were still the ONLY signs in front of the polling station. Voting started at 6 am, they still were not ready at 7 am when I went to vote. I was there when they opened polling. They started handing ballots to the 8 or so voters there. Then they recollected the ballots, they had given us sample ballots. I asked for a Repbulican stamp on my voter registration card so I could attend the Precinct convention tonight. They didn't have a stamp, they wrote "Republican" and I had to make them sign it. Very disorganized. Not in a dishonest way, more of a lack of training. All but one of the 5-6 poll workers didn't even know what I was talking about when I asked for the stamp...
Remember - These are Volunteers, Not Government Employees
They may be paid a token fee to work the polls once or twice a year, but these are usually neighborhood civic-minded volunteers. This is why one should be careful about blaming them for election fraud.
One can't assume they're all connected to the CFR or any other group with a nefarious purpose. They likely don't even know each other and may come from different parties. Conspiracy is extremely unlikely. Incompetence only too likely.

You do not need a stamp to still go to the convention
All voters in the Republican primary can go to the delegate convention tonight in their precinct in Texas. There will be a list of all voters who voted early and today, and do not let anyone tell you that you can't attend tonight if you did not get a stamp.
stereotypically more conservative Round Rock, TX...
My precinct here in Round Rock #488 was deserted on the Republican side when I voted just before 8 this morning. The Democratic side was buzzing. I am excited about the meeting tonight!
From what I've heard...
A lot of Texas Republicans are voting in the Democratic primary this year to support Obama. The enemy of my enemy, I guess...
