Nine States To Go...Get out that Vote!

Now that Huckabee is out two things could happen. We all say, “I have done ALL I can” and sit down…OR we set our sights on the last 9 states. The media we know will ignore Dr. Paul and pretend that John McCain has enough bound delegates, & is the nominee regardless of who is left in the race. Ohio alone had 48,742 people vote for Dr. Paul. What if each person wrote 25 letters to voters in the nine remaining states? That is only a ¼ roll of stamps….that would reach 1,218,550 people. Dr. Paul had 69,824 votes so far in Texas, if THEY each wrote 25 letters it would reach 1,745,600 voters. That is almost three million people in just two states.

What is the difference between Ron Paul supporters and the thousands of uninformed and ignorant, and pitiably so, voters who cast a vote for McCain? They will go back to their football game and reality TV program and sit back and just wait until November to vote in ignorance yet again. What will Ron Paul supporters do? They will keep writing and calling and donating and WORKING….so now that 41 of the 50 states have voted what do YOU think will happen? I think Paul supporters (according to available voting results on CNN Dr. Paul has had 816,832 votes cast for him) will turn all their focus on the nine remaining states. OOPSY, that is what happens when you deal with “kooks.” They are like Timex watches…take a licking and keeping on ticking! If everyone who voted for Paul mailed only 25 letters…to let people know there was an alternative to McCain, & Clinton, & Obama….that would reach 20.4 million voters roughly!

PA – votes 4/22 12.2 million pop.
Indiana – votes 5/6 6 million pop.
North Carolina – votes 5/6 8 million pop.
Nebraska – votes 5/13 1.7 million pop.
Kentucky- votes 5/20 4.1 million pop.
Oregon - votes 5/20 3.4 million pop.
South Dakota - votes 6/3 781,919 pop.
New Mexico - votes 6/3 2 million pop.

TOTAL POPULATION IN ALL THOSE STATES IS 38 MILLION. (THIS IS TOTAL POPULATION NOT VOTERS….NUMBER OF VOTERS IS FEWER BY FAR)

Feasibly if everyone who has voted for Paul does this, you could easily reach almost every person in these states that would vote in the primary.

So, forward this to EVERYONE WHO VOTED FOR DR.PAUL….get it spread across Ohio, and ALL THE STATES!

WE DO NOT QUIT! Let’s WIN those last nine states for liberty, peace, and prosperity.

Write Letters and/or Call South Dakota Voters!

Keep this thread bumped
http://www.dailypaul.com/...

We've procured the entire registered Voter List in South Dakota!!!

We've got over 1,500 active Libertarian and Constitution party members that need to be reached out to, 74,608 independents, and 190,905 Democrats that need to be Reached ASAP before the May 19th Deadline to Register Republican. Plus we've got 240,101 Republicans to reach -- and if we have time 46,906 inactive people.

We were hoping the official campaign would be able to do some robo-calls (it would only cause them about $10,000 of their almost $4 Mil -- about half a percent of what they have left -- to do the entire state at their 2 cents a call cost it cost them in Iowa) but it's looking like that's not going to be happening.

So, that means it's up to us.

The Constitution and Libertarian and Independents are our top priority right now. But if you want to write letters to Democrats let me know that too. We also need to try and direct reach all of the Republicans running.

Things to mention.
The final day to Register Republican is May 19th.
The Primary is June 3rd.

Send me an e-mail at gold_club_99@yahoo.com and let me know how many names you want. What Party, and if you want adresses, or phone numbers. (or both.) I'd like to see everybody e-mailed or called if at all possible.

The typical Turnout for a Republican Primary here in South Dakota is less then 100,000 voters. that means we only have to convince 20,000 people to show up and vote for Ron Paul for some of us to get to go to National. We only need 50,000 of them, in order to win. Technically, it's possible to take every single delegate and only get 62% of the vote or so. (if McCain gets 19% and Undeclared gets 19% and we get 62%, then we're the only campaign that gets more then 20%. Technically probably less then 62% would be needed to win the whole state because Romney and Huccabee are still on the ballot.)

Let's tell the nation that, at least 1 state doesn't want a liberal for their nominee. We can do this people.

Please. e-mail me, and let me know how many names you want and what party you want them to be for, and if you want adresses or phone numbers.

And I'll send you spreadsheet file.

Need 15% in Mississippi

To get delegates proportioned to us. Still get in the process even if you have to be a McCain delegate.

Make sure you check out the HQ page.

23 Delegate selected at large. Does not mean they are Pauls delegates but they can be supporters.

Signing up for voter info in order that they vote

Hi everyone,

I thought I would post this just in case...but make sure you sign up for precincts in the states in the order that they vote. It is too late to mail Mississippi, but we could call voters, and I don't know if virgin islands is listed in the precinct program....but they and Pennsylvania would be the first voting districts to hit with letters. Has anyone seen the official campaign calling for 180,000 leaders?!!! Let's get that done!!!

Have Supplies to send

We have some leftover supplies here in Texas (slim-jims, door-hangers, DVDs) that we can send to a MeetUp in a state that has not yet voted.

Please PM me with details and we'll get stuff shipped out to you.

Keep working and keep the faith.

The nine states left

I am curious as to why we have not seen an organized national effort to concentrate on the winning the nine remaining states? Even if they are not the biggest states delegate wise it would be great if we could somehow overcome the media blackout and bias in those last states. Even if we just concentrated on winning one state that would be a major victory that nobody could ignore. It could be a great test case to sink whatever money is left and could be raised into just going after one state. I'm talking a media and grassroots blitz like the world has never seen. Any thoughts on if we could pull that off?

I think this could be

I think this could be accomplished if we all signed up through the precinct program and sent the precincts covered through the roof! If we showed that every voter left had received a call or letter it would show the strength of Ron Paul's supporters and our noble Constitutional cause! Start your Paul supporter phone tree...call every meet-up member, everyone who voter for him, everyone how supports him, and get them in on this! It is the most efficient and organized way with the least expense. We don't have rich lobbyists or bundlers to pay for TV ads or free media coverage to keep our broke campaigns afloat (McCain)....so we have to go straight to the voters...the people that are really in charge!

I believe there are 12 States plus two territories to go?

March 11 - Mississippi
April 5 - Virgin Islands
April 22 - Pennsylvania
May 3 - Guam
May 6 - Indiana, North Carolina
May 13 - Nebraska, West Virginia
May 20 - Kentucky, Oregon
May 27 - Idaho
June 3 - Montana, New Mexico, South Dakota

Thanks for the accurate list

Thanks for the accurate list update....I had a "clip and paste" mistake from my original list.

Don't neglect to become a delegate

and participate in your convention. This is the most important.

Go Ron Paul! Woot woot woot!

Ya baby! Let Freedom ring and our souls be in joy!

This is not work! It is a pleasure!

Go Ron Paul!

LETTERS ARE READY TO DOWNLOAD, PRINT, & SEND!!!

Okay everyone,

I was able to get three letter choices uploaded to our meet-up site in the FILES section. Visit that page here: http://ronpaul.meetup.com...

Check out the MODERN DAY THOMAS JEFFERSON flier too...it is a double sided flier that is great for printing or copying at the local print shop to show Dr. Paul's Constitutional stances!

Sign up as a precinct leader and then volunteer for an out of state precinct that does not have a leader and you will have access to names and addresses of registered voters to MAIL or call if you prefer. Look at the lists carefully because many voters are at the same address so save stamps and address envelopes to the family e.g. 'The Smith Family'

Contact me through our meet-up if you have ideas or possible questions. Don't forget to READ the letter and type in your personal info before printing and mailing!

Also check out this new video on youtube for anyone who needs a little motivation to keep going!

We are the Vote for Change!

McCain has said he's already won the nomination---therefore, he needs no more votes, by his own admission! Voting for him now is only sending a message that his platform and moral values are great! The only way to send a message for change is to vote Ron Paul. Everyone should be able to vote Ron Paul in the Primaries now!

(And if he was lying about the nomination....well I guess he deserves what he gets!)

I am working on a letter for

I am working on a letter for this project. I think signing up as precinct leaders on the official site is the best way to get uniform coverage without double mailing anyone or skipping anyone....and the national campaign will be able to track progress. I will post the letter when it is done along with a few other good ones I have seen on my meet-up FILES section

http://ronpaul.meetup.com...

Please email me through our meet-up if you have a good letter you would like to be posted for use or if you have any questions or ideas. I will repost when the letters are uploaded....but I am sneaking this post from work...but I should have the letters up by this evening at the latest!

April 15

FYI..........I just received my shipment of 100 Republic Magazines, re: The IRS Scam. I would have ordered more, but I have a serious IRS tax lien that has affected my business. 100 copies is all I could afford.

To you patriots who were aware of this latest publication, and did not order any.......SHAME ON YOU !!!

To those whom were NOT aware of this latest issue, please go to www.republicmagazine.com and do what you can in order to distribute as many as possible. Time is of the essence.

I, after doing appropriate due diligence, determined last year that I would NEVER file another 1040 on my proprietary, hard earned wages. That's my story, and I;m sticking to it.

I am a Patriot (notice the capital P). I'm afraid too many of you are just "little p patriots".. I got this capital P the old fashioned way...I earned it.

This April 15th "strike" will make the Men Behind the Curtain laugh out loud. They will not give up their immense power and obscene wealth without a fight. Make no mistake, they are dangerous men.

If, however, on April 15th, 5-10 million Americans stand up and shout "NO....HELL NO....WE WON'T FILE...NEVER AGAIN" it will send the IRS into chaos and render them impotent.

Or, you can keep talking until your children are in hopeless slavery.

"In the beginning, a Patriot is a scarce man....brave, hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, however, the timid join him, for it then cost nothing to be a Patriot".........Mark Twain

I'll do this by myself, if necessary.

Let's get working on this and getting delegates!

Are the meet up groups for these States working on this. Is there a list of names and address to divide and work on. Let me know and I will help..

Appeal to Republicans to vote Republican!

I heard that in Texas a lot of Republicans were voting for Hillary because they were afraid of the Obama juggernaut that appears destined to win over Clinton. He's polling above her in races against McCain.

I would encourage folks to vote for the best man we've seen in years. Usually these tail-end states' votes don't count for much. Encourage them to make their votes count for Ron Paul!!!

good news?

Isn't the good news that because the television fed don't believe there's anymore reason to vote, the amount of them that shows up to the polls will decrease. And if everyone that supports RP continues to vote, they might end up the majority at the polls ensuring more delegates?

Indeed!

Isn't bad news, however, that most of the votes are counted by machines in secret, and a tiny number of people can turn not only vote results upside down, but can control the media and turn your perceptions of candidate support upside down so you think you lost legitimately?

Become a delegate.

This is the best way to be heard, when they count the votes in St. Paul we will be there, some of us will even be there before to set up and meet with undecided delegates, those who may be Pro-Life and not want McCain. We have a chance to make it past the first round, we do need these next States to draw in more support, don't listen to anyone who tells you otherwise.

John McCain is the nominee.

John McCain is the nominee. He has won fair and squared. The mission should be to get as many delegates to the convention we can, vote on the party platform and go wild when the good doctor speaks.

There Is Nothing Fair About McCain

If you think, if McCain gets the nominee in September he won it fair and square....you are dreaming. There is nothing good or fair about these neocons.

Latinos for Ron Paul

ANd don't forget

Get Paul's speech on your ipod so you have something to listen to when your in the fema camp, or selling pencils on the corner, or on your way to your drafted kid's funeral!!!

How to help get out the vote in remaining states

Get voter lists at ronpaul2008.com HQ site; here's how

By going to the Precinct Leader page on the HQ site. Sign up to be a precinct leader, enter your own precinct information, but then, choose the links to help out in other states that have not yet voted. You will be given names, addresses, and phone numbers of registered voters in those states, that you can call or write to. But you have to be registered as a precinct leader before you can access this stuff.

Can you sign up to be a precinct leader in other states?

If so, why not sign up to be a precinct leader helper in the states that haven't had primaries yet? Sort of like the New Hampshire volunteers? I am sure the remaining states could use some help canvassing neighborhoods.

Nebraska could be interesting

since the primary vote in essence does not count it is the delegates votes.

Sounds good

That's alot of people who have to hear Dr. Paul's (and our) message.

Get busy with the Christians in those states

Those who would have voted for Huckabee now need to know about Ron Paul. What can we do to help?

Healthnuttie for Ron Paul

even if they are pro-war

They can comfortably vote their Christian values and send McCain message by voting for Ron Paul. There is no reason to waste their vote on a candidate that doesn't need their help---he said he already won the nomination!

In fact this is the only way left for Values Voters to send a message to Washington.

i promise you Indiana has

i promise you Indiana has not given up.

List needed

I am in. I need a list. I need a letter. Who has the info so that we can get busy?

This is an excerpt from a letter Fedup posted

on another thread, some good stuff in it:

Some facts that you may find interesting:

Dr. Paul is the champion of the Constitution.

Dr. Paul is a committed Christian and has been married to Carol for over fifty years.

Dr. Paul is pro-life.

Dr. Paul is for a strong national defense.

The military supports Dr. Paul more than any other candidate.

Dr. Paul is a Peace-maker and is against the war in Iraq. That may upset some of you who are pro-war, but if you listen to his reasons, you will probably come to agree with him. I was for the war in Iraq until I heard Dr. Paul's reasons about why we should not be involved.

Dr. Paul would like to eliminate the IRS and the Department of Education. He is very supportive of home-schoolers.

Dr. Paul has never taken a government-paid junket and does not participate in the lucrative Congresssional Pension Plan. He returns part of his budget each year.

Dr. Paul is a physician who has delivered over 4000 babies.

I'm sure I have missed several wonderful things about Dr. Paul, but I'm sure others will want to welcome you and will add to the list.

Could someone compose a letter

with a clear, concise, explanation WHY McInsane has not the delegates, then some encouraging, upbeat reasons to support Dr. Paul?
Some people have trouble writing a letter, and I know some posters have a real grasp on the delegate numbers.
Post sample letters here.

Idaho still in this, too - primary May 27

If you live nearby, run across the border and do some leafletting, sign waving or whatever you can! Our neighbors know how hard it is to canvass door to door in these mountains, so anything helps!

Need Delegates, number one priority!

You are all delegates or going to become one, right?! Put signs up, educate your neighbor, smile, have fun and go to St. Paul.

Don't forget Mississippi.

Mississippi's primary is March 11.

Oopsy Daisy, I had

Oopsy Daisy, I had Mississippi on my original list when I emailed my meet-up group but I must have been a little overzelous with the cut and paste!

Are they any active meet-ups

Are they any active meet-ups in Mississippi that might have lists available since the voting date is soo close?

Getting lists...?

I know that Ron Shimshock does this letter writing campaign http://www.louislogan.com...
...but I wondered about asking the official campaign to let us all sign up in the precinct leaders program as out of state workers because they have lists of all the registered voters for each precinct and their party affliation & issues informtion etc. I thought that would be good for writing letters to registered voters specifically. Those were my thoughts...so far...this idea has been rattling around upstairs for only the last hour...I will do some research and find out more information.

that would be a real blessing in Idaho

Some of my precinct is so far up in the mountains I still can't get there for the snow, and there are places a LOT more remote than my precinct. Letters might get to people that we on the ground cannot. Thanks for thinking of us!

Need list

I will be glad to send letters - where can I get lists of voters?

Is there a list, or someone who

is spearheading this letterwriting thing. I would like to start writing.

Highest concentration of PA Republicans is Central PA

Folks - if you are mad as hell - you need to donate today to Central PA Liberty Pack - www.cpalpac.com - we have more Registered Republicans concentrated here than Philly / Pittsburgh / Scranton - we have a deposit for billboards to go up in Lancaster County - we need to finish that deposit & need your donation today - don't send it to HQ if they aren't going to use it --- we are preparing but need your help.
