Funny how Ron Paul won his seat back yesterday, and we have become infested in trolls now, could it be neocons ready to make a splash since Paul can now concentrate on the Presidency

Basically, I had to make a decision. either give up and walk away, or fight for the heart of the Ron Paul revolution. Its pretty clear that the Ron Paul revolution will get nowhere with people that are light on Logic and heavy on Paranoia driving the agenda.
I decided, now that it is clear that RP will be running for congress in 2008, that it was time to call this group out, and start trying to rally those Ron Paul supporters that actually began this movement.
A big part of that is constantly calling you guys out on the stupidity. Its like what Goldwater supporters did to the Birchers in the early 60s - it served both conservatives, and the Birchers well in the long run.

I hope this serves as a rallying cry for all the RP supporters that have been driven away to return and contribute ideas to move the revolution forward.

I was wondering
about the new infestation. What amazes me is that people actually engage them and respond to their posts. If we could refrain from even responding, they would GO AWAY.

The trouble is: They have an AGENDA
and maybe are paid trolls, 2 or 3 sitting in a room together trying to shut down the Ron Paul supporters with their blather, and discouraging some of us so we will leave the site.
I think it is sometimes useful to engage them on a post that is good, and if it is a troll post, with only trolls replying, let it be, or call them out and don't post again.
After Super Tuesday the Trolls were posting topics faster that Supporters, and it was discouraging to come on Daily Paul.

I have not
engaged with betterhalf (except once) I said to him what I wanted to say and told him I would not engage him again. I feel the same way about the ohioforpaul or whatever it is...and there's someone else too. I have not engaged these people and will not respond to their posts because the more they are responded to, the more it throws their posts to the top.
There are three or four of their posts that keep floating to the top SAYING we are all crazy. And I, for one, have not told anyone what I agree with and what I don't as far as the "conspiracy theories". So what are new supporters going to think if they come here and there are TWO people calling the rest of us crazy and their posts keep on floating to the top.
If they are going to float to the top, time to skim them off.
I have great patience. I have 5 children under age 9, I have to. :D

I can always feel the intent behind the words
and if you use a little discernment, you see it is the same people coming back, but it is sad that some people leave the site because of it instead of just ignoring them.

I wish I had your true patience -- me saying what I did was meant as a joke, mostly. I avoid some of the jerk things people throw about, some I'm sure I've created around here also, but mine always done with good intention for whatever that's worth. I respect someone such as yourself that can let this stuff float away w/o lowering your own standards and jumping in to comment when some of it certainly doesn't deserve the time and effort.
No offense intended to you, I'll try and follow your example in what you said. My Buddah remark was in response to your Oooooommmmmmmm // Isn't that a yoga or buddah chant or something similar? Thought it was. Perhaps I shouldn't have said anything.

It's okay :) I didn't take any offense to what you said and I meant it as a joke too...I was trying to get everyone to relax. There's no emotion in type you know...so even when people say things that may sound like they are dripping with venom...they really aren't. It's all perception by the person reading it. We could all read a post and every one of us would read it a different way.
And yes it is a Buddha chant :) I was just telling you that I have a lot of patience...well...some days anyway. Not every day. But I do quite a bit of ignoring on this site. Although I still think we need an IGNORE button.
