I get emails from the McCain campaign. I just received this email from John and he says he won the nomination...

Dear Friend,
Last night, we did it. We won the Republican nomination for President. It was a long, up and down journey, but we worked hard, spoke honestly to the American people, and our steadfast determination has paid off.
As we come to the end of our party's primary contest, we begin what will certainly be a spirited and hard-fought campaign against the Democratic nominee. In November, Americans will have a clear choice to make. And I intend to fight as hard as I can to make it very clear that I am the candidate with the experience and leadership to serve as our commander in chief from day one.
My friends, I write to you today because I know we have a great challenge ahead of us. This campaign will be more expensive than any other in our history and I ask you today to support my campaign by making a generous contribution of $50, $100, $250, $500 or $1,000.
As president, I intend to reduce the size of the federal government, reduce your tax burden and win the war against Islamic extremists. My Democratic opponents will increase the size of the federal government, raise your taxes and withdraw our troops from the front lines based on an arbitrary timeline.
I have said before that this election will be about big things, not small things. And as president, I will make the hard but necessary decisions to lead our country in solving our greatest challenges. Today, we must unite as we face either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama in November. I ask that you join me today and make a financial commitment to help our campaign replenish our resources.
I thank you for your support and look forward to the campaign that lies ahead of us.

To those who think McInsane has the delegates, McInsane is given the benefit of thought that he has certain numbers of delegates - which are not confirmed - but Paul with the same situation is denied the same addition of delegates - so it shows a warped warped answer - one that anyone who doesn't dig deeper into the reality of it, will miss. that's what they are counting on.

exactly how is he going to reduce the size of the federal government? in the same manner Bush did? with McCain we get the 'best' of both worlds, he'll increase military spending, reach across the isle and increase domestic programs, and to top it off, he won't raise taxes to pay for any of it.

Guess since he got the republican nomination he is now able to use the mailing list to solicit money. I promptly requested for them to take me off the mailing list, there is a nice little comment box to add any remarks. In short I told them I never supported him, and I would not vote for him.

What am I -- the enemy?
I know some of you might find it unimportant me asking this, or perhaps think me childish for even being concerned over such nonsense, but it really truly irritates the living hell out of me. It pushes my buttons. Not much I can do about it, but it sure seems unfair that some dork thinks it appropriate to FLAG me. Happens to me quite often ;-)

Don't be concerned I put a remark that this was being done simply as a test, i.e., nothing detrogatory to be concerned about.

Their delegate totals are fantasy league. Look at the unbound Ohio delegates, CNN has them to McCain, which ought to be proof enough that they have no idea what they are talking about.
