the blog war

is hell.

Neocons are not very good at war.

They should quit.

Navigating the web

If you suspect that the link you're visiting is anti-RP,

1) copy the link on the clipboard
2) open a new window in your browser
3) paste the URL into the new window

By all means use Firefox.

Oh!myGod "It's a Booby-Link!"

I copied the link and the text is shown below,

attention_ron_paul_supporters_life_is_really_not_fair...

The Red State is probably recording all IP's that navigate to its site using the trapped link, and denying service.

In the above post you need to add a fourth step.

4) Read the link in the window, before you navigate!

The author needs to remove the "booby link", post haste. I alert via e-mail.

Good!

Go to popular places and click on it.. (metro wifi, airports, etc) hopefully they will ban the IP and nobody else from that place can access it either.

Create accounts using temporary e-mail like http://www.temporaryinbox... and post away they only hurt themselves.

Pink State and Freak Republic

I still have two accounts active at pink state on the DL. I like to pretend to be a supporter of candidate X, then post damaging news info that causes me to "rethink" my position! I have been ripping on Huckster for a few days, posting things like:

"Gee, I hope Huck has a good answer for why he sent $10,000, from the Arkansas emergency fund, to help Mexico build a consulate in Little Rock, so I can keep supporting him."

"I'm sure Huck's support of socialized medicine was necessary due to the poor demographic of AR, at least he fixed the roads."

I laugh my ass off how these pinheads @ pinkstate and freak republic, call us kook isolationists, then ban all dissent, effectively isolating themselves!
Their hypocrisy is glaring.

I think the reactionaries at RS and Freep, will help to split the Rep. Party and allow the traditionalists to take back control of it's direction.

Give me liberty....

Who's Red State?

I've never heard of them, anyway. As Jack Nicholson said: Some people just can't handle the TRUTH!

The truth is

In my opinion I could honestly care less about what that website ever does. It is about as important in us reaching our goal, as it is for me to know if I still have the same number of bristles on my toothbrush today, as compared to the day I bought it. Let this thread die already. (no offense meant sensido)

red state

I would never have known of this red state except for it being mentioned at this web site... they are no names, has beens, and never wasers! how these morons cannot connect what rue liberty is, is beyond me.. I wonder if they salute the furer!

Go to http://www.lewrockwell.co... for the links on this:

Here's a fun tidbit about plagiarist Ben Domenech, the Founder of said Red State blog:

...In the past 24 hours, we learned of allegations that Ben Domenech plagiarized material that appeared under his byline in various publications prior to washingtonpost.com contracting with him to write a blog that launched Tuesday...

Red State's latest gem

Ron Paul Supporters - Grow Up

http://www.redstate.com/b...

Someone should remind the RED State kiddies over there that their website would remain in obscurity without any RON PAUL headlines.

What do you expect

I know Red State was fairly hostile to Ron Paul from the beggining, but I've noticed that a big reason that polls and discussions of Dr. Paul get pulled BECAUSE SO MANY PEOPLE RESPOND.
If you are in a forum that isn't dedicated to Dr. Paul, having a few hundred people post "Go Ron Paul for President 2008!!!!" again and again is likely to agrevate non Paulites.

To hell with them!

Any group that would give themselves a name that is indicative of pure partisan politics shouldn't be given any attention. No arguing with them is going to change their minds about Ron. He's a Libertarian who "infiltrated" THEIR party, and that's how they'll always see him.

These Red State assclowns are part of the greater problem we have in this country with politics in general. They are all about waving their stupid red flag against everything blue, regardless of its merit. Hell, they can't even accept a Libertarian into their little fray, so I say to hell with them! Who needs them?

Well...

I still say be nice to them and be a good example. They may be nasty and disrespectful over on Red State, but that doesn't mean we have to do the same. I think that some people go over there and get in pissing matches with them and that doesn't help Ron at all.

it doesn't make any

it doesn't make any difference.. they are not even a pimple on an ants butt in importance to this presidential election!

I agree

I'm not advocating any sort of retaliation at all. I'm saying to just ignore them, because we certainly aren't going to convert them. And to try to reason with them will just make them resent Ron's message even more.

adult content

Banning Ron Paul is bad karma, in fact my internet filter has "redstate.com" banned in return as something in the "adult content" category... :)

:O)

Great Idea! Adult entertainment, just like Faux.

Hammer & Sickle Republicanism

It is oh so appropritate that the political elites have designated the Republican party in its current incarnation with the color "Red", as they have become the new Commies.

Left a comment at REDSTATE.

Just for the honor of saying I was banned from REDSTATE I signed up and left a comment giving my reason for supporting Ron Paul. Here is part of it.

"As 82ND vet, it is disturbing to me that many in our great nation seem to favor candidates who are so eager to sacrifice individual liberties for “The Common Good.” I have sworn an oath to support and defend The Constitution of the United States, against ALL enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC. That compels me to speak out against candidates who would treat our founding documents with disdain. That is precisely why I support Ron Paul."

Amazing how REDSTATE claims to "support the troops." All while censoring real Veterans from expressing their opinion.

By the way the many active duty personal I communicate with in Iraq/Afghanistan tell me Ron Paul is becoming a "folk hero" among the rank and file. Go figure service members respect The Constitution also.

I suggest that like many...

you go undercover and build a reputation...keep it low and guide the conversation without mentioning Ron Paul...I know there are many of us infiltrators to Red State that do just that :P

besides...

that will freak them out...if they catch this conversation they will be wondering who among them is an RP supporter...divide and conquer...subtle...create division :P muwahahahahaha

mwahaha indeed.

I created numerous accounts at RedState over the course of early springtime of this year, shortly after Dr. Paul formed his exploratory committee. Or was it after the announcement? I forget. I am in fact several conflicting personalities there, ala Locke/Demosthenes, if anyone reads OS Card. One of my favorite games is to be so ludicrously and inaccurately insulting to Ron Paul (or is it He Who Must Not Be Named?) and his supporters that no reasonable person could possibly agree with me. Naturally, it doesn't work. The more viciously fascist I sound, the more they seem to like it. I've been paraphrasing Mein Kampf frequently, but they never notice. Then I respond as a voice of reason, and get attacked for it by the others most of the time. They are being marginalized from within, and promoting Dr. Paul by their own actions against him.

I wonder if they can find all of me? ;) I certainly hope I don't find me. I don't know what I'd do to me.

Welcome Comrade

Give me liberty....

Woohoo!

If this is the real Hinz...welcome to the daily paul. We'll try to treat you better and with more respect here than you treat us on Red State. Everyone welcome Hinz...a renowned Red Stater!

I am slightly responsible for this...

Yeah, I posted 2 comments that really drove home the Paul message in a logical way. They really don't like that. Now I can't even connect to the site. I was able to get one blog entry up before they cut me down. Would love it if someone recommended it so it hits the front page. It's titled "Oh my, what possibly could I have done?" Boy this feels great. Long live the revolution! Plus, they really R E A L L Y hate it if you quote Reagan.

Red State just did the Ron Paul campaign a favor...

by prevening well-meaning but misguided supporters of Dr. Paul from posting there, thus limiting the potential number of votes we would have gotten out of the site to the exact number we would have eventually received, which is coincidentally the same number, that number being a big fat zero. People, its called triage, which is military speak for "stop wasting your time with the already dead or soon-to-die."

The ENTIRE Ron Paul campaign could have selected one Red State neocon fascist, spent the next 50 years trying to convince him of the error of his ways, and on his deathbed at the nursing home, he'd still be yammering on about how the Muslims are going to take over the world and install a Islamic state if we don't nuke 'em first.

red state

all i have to say about the red state site is mein kampf! lol talk about a bunch of little hitlers.. gonna be funny watching them tuck their tails in about 13 months!

Irrelevant site!

Welcome to the Revolution!

That site and their dead party are no longer important. We've killed it.
We are the New Republican Party and the New Democratic Party and MORE! This Revolution will fill up the nations capitol with freedom loving Revolutionaries across the political spectrum.
Ron Paul is just the catalyst. We are the reaction.

Viva la Revolution!

We Need the Base

Red State does not reflect the Republican base. It is only a small minority of people that no one knows or cares about. Ron Paulunteers need to focus their time and resources at the grass roots level. I work gun shows, beer joints and sporting goods shops for examples and I talk to everybody where ever I go. Some liken me to an evangelist for Ron Paul. I do not waste too much of my precious campaigning time writing blogs at sites that no one reads (like Red State). The real voters that we need have land lines, use snail mail, watch televised sports religiously, have simple thoughts and follow the lead of people they trust (like us).

We need the Republican base to win the nomination. We already have most of the interested people that use the web. The rest just need to be awakened. These are the people that do not read newspapers, watch the nightly news or do much thinking at all outside the box. I recently met an NRA member working his booth that didn't know that Rudy was his worst enemy. People have been taught to follow the media and not think much. We need to change that with one patient conversation at a time. Keep it simple and quick and move on to another convert.

It is frustrating, but most Americans just do not pay much attention to anything that matters. One simple way of bringing them in is to write and talk to them about the simple issues that appeal to them. Keep it simple. Abortion, gun control and immigration reform. That is about all they can handle. Many will not even have much of an opinion about the war. They would have a hard time locating Iraq on a map. That's just the way it is. We need to focus on getting our candidate nominated. We can try to educate the masses afterwards. Remember, most of human history is one long record of the heartless ruling over the mindless.

Awaken the "masses" (sorry, that's demeaning i know)

How about this? A business card with a synopsis of Dr. P.'s "No tax on tips" bill. Leave (along with a GENEROUS tip!!!) for your waitpersons.(ok, ok, I really wanted to say "waiters"). What an innocuous bit of pandering!

Oh I so Agree with this

Oh I so Agree with this thought. The ones I use are taxes and how he wants to get rid of the IRS and make the income tax go away. How to get back to personal liberty (no one likes to be questioned about everything they do, even to the point of looking at library cards. And my friends are the non-voters I really believe that is the market- your own friends the factory workers and retail workers and waitresses. Remeber this important fact only 64%of the population voted in the last election http://www.census.gov/pro... so with us and the non-voters who Ron Pauls's issues actually effect we have chance.

"I have always imagined that Paradise will be a kind of library"

they are socialists (NeoCons) and don't hide the fact...

If you notice in the below thread, there are people openly arguing for socialist principles while their signatures state how evil socialism is, etc etc...

http://www.redstate.com/b...

However, if you pay attention, these guys know their stuff... they know the system, and don't care... It's a long dead thread and so no point in commenting, especially if you don't know all of the ins and outs of economic politics/functions...

I personally don't think any of them won... There were strawmen galore, and an eventual condescending comment made with nothing to back it up.

RedState is a Neo-Con Circle Jerk

LOL I got banned by these assholes a few weeks ago for merely making 1 comment about Dr. Paul. All I did was mention his name and I got banned by that jerk Mbecker598.

correction

mbecker is just a poster like anyone else. he does not have the power to ban anyone from anywhere

Mr. Hinzsight Report

Yes we have seen your bullshit on red state, and we know you only come here to spew your propaganda. But please know that you will not be banned from this site, because we Paulites know what freedom really is. We do not need to ban someone from speaking their mind. Instead we will see right through your mindless propaganda. Fire away if you wish.

And of course

had you ever actually read the things that I have said, there are a lot of things that I do agree with Dr Paul on. The one major disagreement I have with him, and I know it is unpopular here, is with the GWoT.

It is one thing to look in the rearview mirror and point out past mistakes, but the real challenge is to NOT make mistakes in the future -- or at least, to limit mistakes. I do not believe we can withdraw from the world stage and hope the terrorists will leave us alone. They will not.

I have asked RP supporters about specific ways of making our country energy independent -- drilling anywhere and everywhere in this country -- building nuclear power plants -- working on elimination of regulations so we can build more refineries -- all necessary measures until such time as a non-oil based fuel source can become viable -- and have received no answer.

I agree with Dr Paul in other areas. The problem that I have noted before with the Libertarian movement is that there is only one Dr Paul. Why has there been no attempt to get a full slate of candidates into office throughout the country, so that a president can actually have support for his ideas within congress?

Respectfully

DH

Hinz...

I have one more thing to say to you, if you are who you claim, then I'm done with you.

Do you truly believe that islamofascism is the single greatest threat to the U.S.? Greater than our bankrupt economy, housing bubble, wall street invasion, border invasion, NAU?
You are more afraid of some sandal wearing, jihadist, in a 4-cyl toyota, than you are of our debt masters the Chinese Superpower and Dubai, crushing our Dollar, and buying up controlling interests in huge American banks and industries?

Really?

Because if you are not, then your mockery of the greatest opportunity in the history of the republican party, is baffling.
If we, Ron Paul supporters, are just a bunch of Democrats, who fervently support a Republican who is without argument the most conservative candidate when it comes to small gov., taxes, states rights, and everything the Republican platform has been screaming for 40 years, only a drooling, pants wetter, could not see the opportunity to embrace this tidal wave of a movement and DECIMATE any and all Dems put up in the General!
Don't you get it?
Hell, you could always circle the wagons in Congress and vote to stay in Iraq after the election if it is so popular, but the opportunity to gain a TRUE mandate, to finally overhaul this broke down system, seems much to valuable to squander, due to a disagreement over a non threat in the desert.

Give me liberty....

D Hinz

if you do more study, you will realize, like all wars, we are not in Iraq to protect us from the bad guys. We are there to nation build and limit oil supply to keep OPEC's oil prices high. Since it hasn't worked to keep military bases around the world to prevent countries wanting to attack us, perhaps we should try it the other way for a while. What do we have to lose. If the war was about protecting the U.S., why are we letting the border open so people can take weapons here to do us harm...and they are! It is not about protecting us as the jokers claim. They certainly haven't protected U.S. jobs since we've given them away with NAFTA and the 15 or so million illegals crossing the border to take our jobs and reduce our wages.

There are other sources of energy that will work and are safe. When people come up with a new way to create fuel, mainly for cars, the invention is either bought up by the oil industry, or the person myseriously dies or disappears.

As for others getting on the politcal bandwagon that have integrity, most quality people are not attracted to such potential power. We also have been asleep at the wheel to long and now some are apparently getting involved as we have seen what happens when we don't. It can also be quite unhealthy for people to be in poitics and buck the system. Ask the Kennedy's. Sorry if you think I'm getting conspiratorial.

If you "heard nothing' you haven't listened.

Let's see, drilling for oil? For it (RP voted *for* Anwar drilling, look it up). Building nuke plants? Sure, especially if taxpayers don't insure 'em, as we'd probably see with pebble bed reactors being developed in China-not-the-USA for some strange reason (I'm sure it's those damn libertarians' fault!). Eliminating regulations/taxes? Gee, nobody here EVER talks about that...(Get why I picked this nickname yet??)

If you want innovation and energy independence, then make that full slate of Republican candidates -- who already exist -- get the clue we've already had for decades. The idea that other candidates -- who tend to want government intervention instead of capitalism -- would lead to energy independence is laughable.

But at least you've got the guts to come here and post.
JMR

That is the beauty of the libertarian principles....

Socrates - "The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing."

We don't know some of these answers, and we won't get the answers until after we let true freedom take hold. The desperate need to control is counterproductive and stifles truly new approaches.

De-regulation is needed for this in some instances.

As far as getting people elected. We are working on that as we speak.

There are many "Pauls" and we are rebuilding the Libertarians AND Republicans into a force to be reckoned with again! Be happy that we are coming back to the Republican Party, because if it wasn't for Paul, most of us would have stayed gone...

http://ronpaulsacrossamer...

spew?

interesting choice of words

Sure...look it up

As in to vomit....which is what I want to do everytime I read one of you pathetic posts on red state.

lol

it's called projection

It was you that banned me

Welcome to the Ron Paul campaign trenches, Red State. *waves*

nope

not a moderator either. simple posters cannot ban people.

Quit lying

I don't believe you are the real Hinz trolling here. Why? Because we all know that you peons cry to Leon and he bans anyone you ask him to.

Why have you not learned that your GWOT doesn't work? I am all for war when necessary, declare it, execute it, and win. How long have we been in Korea? See, your undeclared war fails every time, there must be 100 pounds of history to prove this, yet the only thing you can come up with is more of the same.

You support abusing the military. Combat troops are not police.
You support sending me to walk around indefinitely , policing a hostile country with a target on my back, hoping they will start to like us.
I support conquering every square inch of the territory, and securing all resources for US use. That is what armies do. If we don't have the balls to do it right, then we stay out of it! Without Congressional approval, you have no mandate. That is why the job never gets finished, because to finish the job requires the death and destruction of innocent civilians and no single politician is going to hang that yoke around his neck without Congressional backing, so instead we go in half assed and get stuck in a quagmire. Been there, done that. The definition of insanity is repeating the same action over and over, but expecting a different result.
Here is a thought, let's try something different.

Give me liberty....

In all seriousness...

Welcome to our little home on the web. I think that even though it appears you disagree with us and our choice of candidate, we welcome spirited debate. If that is why you are here, then the door is open!

Until the Election is Won!

Chaplain Steve

which is why I regularly

check out RP sites, and have for some time, and occasionally dKos, although I always need a shower after visiting that site. The word "spew" is much more appropriate there than at RS.

In fact I try to keep a wide range of political sites on my radar -- usually with several windows open at one time. Actually posting at RS and here similtaneously -- and NO, I am not posting anything THERE about you all here.

I have been coming to this site for quite some time, just haven't bothered to post much -- just watching and learning.

I much prefer the people who do NOT make conspiratorial claims -- rational people are always more interesting.
