yeah

I knew about this, tax evasion!
If we do it, its illegal,
if its a government contractor, they look away, but if enough people notice, they get as slap on the wrist!

Thank you very much for this

I'm so glad to see that another RP freedom lover, has been following there delima, internet freedom and freedom of speach!!! we need to baby sit our gov.officials email, phone and letters at least once a week, Let them know WE'R TIRED OF THERE S##T!!! THEY WORK FOR US!!!!

Great Post JohnD

Freedom includes all business activity. If I could do better in my business by having an offshore holding company, it is my duty to myself and my shareholders to do so. There should be free competition in government. Let the big bloated pig governments of the world starve to death if they want to try and tax the hell out of us.

I do hate Haliburton though.

Did you also know ?

that cheney knowingly allows hailburton to offer the soldiers water that is full of pathogens ? they are all eventually going to die from this and that's what you get for serving your country.

don't forget

they traffic slave women from the orient , harvest poppies for heroine and probably enjoy pulling the wings off flies.

I was only kidding about the flies thing , Cheney is one evil son of a bitch but he's way above the law.

whats even worse than that

is the fact that they purposely endangered our brave men and women with unsafe, pathogen filled water and other dangers as well.

The accumulation of all powers, legislative, executive, and judiciary, in the same hands, whether of one, a few, or many, and whether hereditary, self-appointed, or elective, may justly be pronounced the very definition of tyranny. James Madison

Read between the lines

I'm sure many of us hate Halliburton and KBR for various reasons, but when you look at what this article is doing, it is an attempt to vilify companies opening offshore subsidiaries to avoid the various taxes imposed on domestic companies and its employees. After reading the article, unless you can see the underlying bias, I would bet most of you were disgusted and outraged. However, substitute Haliburton/KBR with say Disney or Pepsico. All of a sudden, the premise for why companies may become clearer. The U.S. taxes the hell out of companies and workers. In fact, the US is second in the world for corporate taxes only behind Japan at 39.4%. See http://www.taxfoundation....
Meanwhile the fed is printing money like they don't care, devaluing the dollar, and inflation is climbing. Is it any wonder why companies are relocating overseas?? The bottom line is the US Govt. is taxing the country to death and letting the federal reserve destroy our currency. Offshore "tax havens" and countries that have substantial lower taxes than the US are a great thing! They provide incentive for other high tax countries to lower their taxes and attract businesses. Unfortunately, we have a federal government that thinks it can run our lives better than us and as a result needs to tax and deficit spend to the point where other countries look more attractive to business. Meanwhile, the democrats as noted in the article, have been posturing about cracking down on companies who look for tax relief outside the country. So please remember the above points when reading the text and maybe you will see the real message it is promoting - "there ought to be a law against..."

perhaps

any outrage arises from the fact the beneficiaries/deciders of the government policy to maintain an empire and finance their activities/ prop up the economy/devalue the currency through deficit spending (resulting in a government/procurer requiring an obscene tax levy) are taking advantage of offshore tax dodges.

It is clear that they have a fiduciary responsibility to their shareholders to maximize their investment value and tax havens may in some cases even benefit us all. It is also viscerally clear, if that makes any sense...well, you know, perhaps its best to leave it at that and let the incestuous juxtaposition of interests and responsibilities just set in and educate us all in how the world actually works. Let the fetid odor of our new world order waft awhile.

I agree with you

this is just the tip of the iceberg.

More obvious evidence of treasonous and unpatriotic acts being performed by the very people that are hiidng in the cloak of the flag.
