From the horse's mouth, Ron Paul IS IN THE RACE TO THE END
I am posting this Mar. 6, 2008. My name is Bruce Bolock and I live in Lake Jackson, Texas. I have been a dedicated Ron Paul supporter and campaigner for more than 11 years. I am writing this on my wife's computer. With three other dedicated supporter's of Dr. Paul we met Sunday, March 2, 2008 for approximately 1 hour. Dr. Paul stated he is looking forward to campaigning in Pennsylvania (his birth state), North Carolina, and other primary states as the primary season winds down. He will enthusiatically go anywhere he is asked. He is in it as long as the funding continues to come in. Immediately before writing this I had a discussion with Carol Paul to confirm my understanding. Carol validated our understanding of the Sunday conversation. Earlier she had discussed this over the phone with Ron.
We have an excellent opportunity before us. Let's not blow it!!!Those voters for McCain will now NOT turn out to vote as they see it unnecessary to go vote (based on the false, misleading information from the MSM). Or, they may switch over to vote against Hillary or Obama. The Ron Paul supporters can win the popular vote in these primaries and win the delegates. There is no other viable choice. It would be wise for the supporters of Ron Paul to continue to contribute to the campaign so that Ron can ride tihis all the way to the national convention. I am involved here and I am a delegate to the state senatorial convention. John McCain currently has ZERO committed delegates from Texas. That's right---ZERO!!! The MSM has told you he has won the convention based on the delegates he won in Texas. Let me repeat, John McCain currently has ZERO delegates from Texas. We have the state senatorial convention and the Texas State convention to determine the delegates to go to the National Convention. They quite well may all be Ron Paul delegates.
Hence, we the supporters of Ron Paul need to cease and desist sending out these false rumors! They don't help Ron, they demoralize his supporters. Please stop this nonsense, this only helps the establishment further control us. The establishment fears Ron Paul and a brokered convention. Don't help them destroy this great opportunity,

There is NO Republican Nominee until the national convention in Sept.!
I had been supporting Mike Huckabee until he gutlessly pulled out and endorsed McCain. I just submitted my endorsement of Ron Paul and I am with him until the convention - that is when our nominee is chosen. Yes it may be unlikely that McCain will not prevail on the first convention vote, but ANYTHING could happen. What if he is forced to withdraw for some reason? Ron Paul needs to stay in this race and keep giving voters a choice for freedom and true conservative values. He is the last conservative voice left standing in the GOP race.
Here in South Carolina, not ONE DELEGATE has yet been chosen. That is indeed the case in many states and Ron Paul supporters will be running in my state and across the country. In a brokered setting, anything could happen and we should not give up just because the press or party regulars tell us to do so.

1. Don't listen to the media.
2. Do everything you can to elect delegates.
3. Get connected to positive supporters in a private way (e-mail,ect...)
Keep your chin up and your mind strong!
4. If your state is winding down, Please consider signing up as a precinct captain for a state that needs you. This would be an enormous help, having the cold-calling done for neighboring precincts.
Oregon is just getting cranked up!! Let's concentrate and we can win these last states, lock, stock, and barrel. BTW we are a paper ballot state, where our delegates are doled out by primay %!! Lets get busy!!!

A brokered convention occurs when no nominee receives a majority vote on the first ballot. This frees most states delegates to vote their conscience and not have to vote per their committment to their state. Ron Paul delegates are now free to cast their vote for Ron on the second ballot. This is an opportunity for Ron to win. However, we must stay true and proceed through our state's conventions as delegates. The more delegates we secure in our states' convention or caucus procedures the more delegates we will have proceeding thru the state conventions to the NRC in Minnesota. This will put the nomination into the hands of we the people, the delegates, and NOT DEFAULT TO ESTABLISHMENT CONTROL.
It is best that we stop the negativity and focus on the positive potential of winning this. Again, I say, please discontinue these negative, demoralizing statements that are contrary to reaching our goal. Those that continue to do this may well be using this tactic to assure a John McCain nomination. I certainly hope not, but if so we all need to focus on the positive and work to get the maximum number of RP favorable people to their state conventions to best assure the delegates going to the NRC are RP favorable.

Of course he's still in the race, he isn't a Neo-con lying bastard. He is an honest man. So get out there and educate people! We still have 12 States to go. Become a delegate and persuade people. They didn't have the media back during the first Revolution and they didn't have the internet either. They talked to each other and told people the truth. So this is what we need to do, teach, speak, motivate and wake people up. The Constitution will be upheld and we will get back our freedom. Ron Paul has already won the election, he is my President and the only leader I find worth giving my attention.

we aren't giving up in Indiana and would love for Dr. Paul to come speak here. i plan on bringing this up at our weekly meetup on Tuesday. we're still busy doing the Lord's work here :-) it's time for the Indy meetup groups to put petty differences aside and join for our common cause. if just a 1/4 of the registered people would get together we could really make a difference.

If you read the Texas GOP convention rules, yes, McCain DOES have most of the Texas Delegates. Currently. Before you can be eliglble to be a Delegate for the National Convention you will be REQUIRED to sign an affidavit pledging that you WILL vote for the popular selected candidate. If you do not submit such affidavit, you do not qualify to be a delegate. Voting against this affidavit puts you in breach of contract. So the MSM IS correct in stating McCain has the delegates. Under CURRENT rules.
BUT. If we have the majority of Delegates at the state convention, we can pass resolutions that will change those rules. If we have the majority of Delegates, we can free all of Texas' delegates, which would allow them to vote their will on the FIRST round of voting.
I repeat, John McCain currently has ZERO delegates.
The operative word here is "currently". My point is to not demoralize those that have worked so hard up to this point when we still have a great opportunity to take this. We need all those delegates from the precinct conventions to hang in their and prepare to go forward. With the numbers we can not only elect the majority of delegates we can effect other changes. It has been done before. These delegates can approve resolutions for conservative values that may well become planks in the platform. We need to remain steadfast in our purpose and we will succeed. We can get this done our way.

more like it. All of us, to varying degrees have been hard at work. Whether it is for personal gain or for our fellowmen's benefit. To some, success comes easy, to others, not as quite, like myself. I had to work twice as hard for it. Have you noticed plenty of politicians are children of privilege? They went to boarding school, private universities, far from the trials of everyday life, like the lives of the common men. Although, this fact doesn't mean some of them are out of touch. Some do but only a few to affect "good change" in our government. Some are so far from the "beat of the masses" that they failed to recognize the necessary, basic ideology that emanates from it. They couldn't hear the cries because they never cried. Dr. Paul heard us and wanted to do something to affect these necessary change. Moving forward is the only way. The candle has been lit, let us use it to see our way to where we are going. Don't let the small obstacles become hindrances but consider them merely small challenges that we can collectively solve. Let's continue the fight.

Ask yourself.....
which would hurt more...continuing the run or giving up??!! I heard this quote from someone who ran a marathon. He said he kept thinking this over and over again during the last stretch of the marathon. After all the work and preparation he did for the race....he knew it would hurt more to stop running than to keep going.
