He came into my understanding about the same time that I started questioning the WTC/Pentagon attacks. One of my first efforts hunting in the dark (wanting to know more about this subject because there seemed so much that made little to no sense) led me quite by accident to this particular website of scientist and other professionals:

As you can see, it has on its surface nothing to do with AJ, but further investigation revealed that some of the smart folks commenting there on that particular website mentioned the man's name and made reference(s) now and again to this man's personal investigations -- and researching further is what introduced me to Mr. ALEX JONES. A very passionate and oftentimes extremely loud individual, he is that for sure but he's also got his shit together as some will say in praise of this man. I include myself in that group saying the same thing about him.
The man is a wealth of valuable information and not afraid to speak what is in his mind and heart. We should all be thankful for his bravery being that. And for his knowledge.
Keep your mind's eye closed, and never open that book, and believe everything you're told and you'll surely be blind to reality, dumb as a rock, but certainly happy in the lies you are told //
Be that -- Or take the first step and use that mind that God gave you, open that book, and stop believing every damn thing you're told just because it's the easy thing to do -- and then come to understand that the world is not inhabited so much by Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny but more so by folks that could really care less about you and me and more for lining their own greedy pockets with the corruption that surrounds them. A little murkily melodramatic for my tastes. Not that its completely wrong or anything. But I am not sure if watching this sort of thing really generates action in the world or just satisfies a need for "hidden knowledge" and being an internet initiate to some sort of "truth" while sitting around in your bathrobe on a sunny Sunday morning. I imagine if we all were together in a great hall and this flick were put on many would perceive that it doesn't move us any closer to a practical, tangible goal...and it really doesn't touch that many people outside the hall either.

I have to agree with ironman77's earlier posts. It sounds like this guy is one step away from asking you to drink the kool aid. This used to be a site dedicated to getting Ron Paul elected. As Ron Paul is a doctor (none of you are) and he's never said anything remotely similar to this I think this should be taken down. Don't give me any 1st amendment complaints here either. This is a private site and Ron would agree this is a private contract between the site owner and the poster... read the posting rules. Even if you agree with what Alex Jones is saying why does he present it as if he is some spiritual guru? I mean come on... this video would NEVER convince anyone who doesn't already agree with him. As I realize none of us have perfect knowledge I don't deny the fact that it could be true. However, all you can do is go by the research that is available. Never in any peer reviewed journal has there ever been any evidence that flouride will lower your IQ by 20 points. The intelligence quotient itself is often debated as not being a very good measure of one's intelligence. I'm sorry but reading an article online and believing it is fact is a little naive (especially if the website is something like flouridewarning.com). As there are so many problems in this country and the world I think the last thing we need to worry about is a worldwide doctor/scientist/engineer/dentist conspiracy.

If you think consuming fluoride at 1 ppm is good for anyone then you have not done your research! Try reading The Fluoride Deception by Christoper Bryson for the history of how this toxic garbage ever got into our water in the first place and what it does to our bodies. Obviously you are not near as smart as you might want every one here to believe! By the way I am a dental professional and bought into the whole story of fluoride being good for us to drink for many years before I did my own research. Why? Because our own community was targeted in last years election by the ADA and the commercial interests that benefit from the disposal of hydrofluoro silicic acid by dumping it into communities water supply. Besides after growing up in a fluoridated community and both my kids having their formative years as well I am not convinced even of it's efficacy. I had lots of decay as well as my daughter while my son has not (same upbringing). I see that clinically herein my town as well with a large population of my clients coming from a nearby fluoridated community. You know what keeps decay at arms length? Diet, good attention to home care, and for the most part regular dental visits if there is attention to preventative education.

So, good people can disagree about the need to fluorinate water, based on objective evidence.
But this is a far cry from the claim that fluoride is being added to the water to dumb you down, or to make you less willing to rebel. It is a far cry from the claim that there is no evidence that it is beneficial, and that people were all lying in the studies that say Fluoride is beneficial. That this is being done by the "new world order". In the video he's going on about fluoride eating his brain, and how it lowered his IQ 20 points - which is pure nonsense. The very fact that your community had an election regarding fluoride use, and apparently resisted using fluoride, shows that this is not being forced upon you like AJ says.

Calling what you were given "a cult" must make it easier to drink that floridated water. I don't trust that my water supply is always below 1mg/L and that study certainly suggests that the amount of flouride varies around the country and that they try and put the maximum amount of flouride in our drinking water not to mention all the other places you can find it.
Sorry I don't believe that below 1mg/L is good for me like this study wants me to believe and that my water is always at that "safe level". Everything else he mentioned is well intentioned and if you don't see it that way then sucks to be so confused about your world. Im sure you already think you know everything there is to learn. Who do you trust ? ?
That's what it all boils down to. Do you trust the NAS, and their years of Science training and experience, or Alex Jones, who sounds like some fire and brimstone preacher ? This vid is high quality propaganda, I 'll give it that.
Do you trust your water companies, who have hired engineers and chemists, to keep track of the quality of the water ? Do you trust your dentist ? You Doctor ? Your Mother ? If you don't, it is going to be a hard life.
I tend to trust people who are educated, and experienced in their field, and I tend to not trust people who are clearly putting out propaganda style documentaries. The style of this video is exactly the same used for Inconvenient truth.
