Any good documentaries on the Constition?
Does anyone know a good documentary which just deals with the Constitution as we in the freedom movement would understand it?
The rough idea I have is to put together a DVD5 which runs for less than 3.5 hours. I would like to include a one hour documentary on the Constitution, Freedom To Fascism and 1-3 five minute bumpers which explain the need to educate ourselves, to get involved and what people can do. These DVDs could then become powerful tools to wake new people up to the cause of freedom and build the base of liberty.
Anyone have a good one hour documentary which fits the paleoconservative/libertarian mold to explain the constitution? Something along the lines of a well produced "Constitution Class" like Badnarik did, within a one hour run time in documentary form?
I have to get back to work now so I won't be responding until I get home around 7 PM but if anyone has any ideas they would be much appreciated.

Oh well. I don't have cable anyways. JIC you are still using cable or satellite.

I'm going to watch it when I
I'm going to watch it when I can get my hands on it but I'm not hoping for much. I've read most of the biography that its based on, while well written and engaging, it lacks the flair for explaining the principles of liberty as we would know them. I doubt the video will be any different. Don't expect too much from the writer, after all, he was Skull and Bones.
maybe usefull

I saw this the other day
I saw this the other day when someone posted it on here. Great video but not what I'm looking for. I'm starting to realize that there aren't any good documentaries on the Constitution available. If I had the skills and $100,000 to spare I would be all over this. We need to make a Constitutional documentary.
Bump.
Ron Paul is leaving it up to us folks! So put your creative energy behind the Revolution. We talk about not wanting government in charge, well Ron Paul is giving us a chance to demonstrate how this is done. Don't look to Ron Paul to do all the work, and just throwing money at the problem isn't going to work either!
Be in Washington on the 21st of June as requested by Ron Paul.

Take a look at
The National Center For Constitutional Studies..
They have some good educational materials..

They have three
They have three documentaries on there that look promising. I'll try to get copies to review first then go from there. This is a great link, thanks.
Here you are
Good old Michael Badnarik:

Michael Badnarik
Michael Badnarik is the professor's name. I wrote it down after someone else posted it a few weeks ago. I just did a youtube search on his name + constitution and they came up. Looks like a 42 part series! I hope they're not 1 hour lessons.
Its seven 50 minute lessons.
Its seven 50 minute lessons. My guess is that you found a bunch of YouTube links. A better bet would be to go to Google Video where you can get each part separately.
Also, Badnarik isn't a professor per se. He works with computers in some capacity as a day job but for us he is notable as the Libertarian candidate for president in 2004. I like the guy and would help out on his campaign if he ever ran for congress again (did badly in 2006).
want to learn about the constitution and such
check out this website. It may be a little deep but once you get there you will have a much better understanding of how things work.

Dog gone it.
I had a real good series by a professor and must have deleted it. If you can find that it was on Youtube I believe, someone posted here a long time ago.
Gee, I hope someone posts it again. I think this would be really good we need to study it so we know what the heck we are talking about. I just love hearing Dr. Paul talk about it, he makes it so clear and easy to understand.
Wish he would do a series I would buy it.
was it Michael Badnirk (spelling of last name may be wrong)

Yes, it was something
like that but last name was spelled a little different. Bump
I just googled this

Thanks for looking but this
Thanks for looking but this is a book talk with the writer of a recent "biography" of the Constitution. I've actually read this book and its pretty good, though I would recommend "Origins of the Bill of Rights" before I recommended this one.
I have this
it's kind of what a republic is and why as opposed to other choices. It's 1/2 hr long and one of my favorites. They should require this in all schools:

This is kind of what I was
This is kind of what I was looking for. In truth I saw this a few weeks ago when someone on this forum linked to it. It has much of the content that I was looking for but its out dated in appearance (important to many people) and, as much as this doesn't bother me in the least) produced by the John Birch Society. Unfortunately the John Birch society has, like anyone who has opposed the socialists for a while, unfairly developed a reputation as being a bunch of kooks.
If this content were condensed to form the introduction, with the rest being about the Constitution proper, then that would be perfect.

One self bump.
I would really like to know if we have any documentaries that explain the Constitution. If we don't, then we need to start making some.

a thousand self bumps...:-)
