Just called - 6pm EST.
She sounded so harried and hung up quickly. I called back and politely said that we must have been disconnected (yeah, right!). Anyway, I asked her why Dr. Paul was excluded from the ticker and she said that she couldn't answer that question but she would pass it along.
KEEP CALLING. Our voices will no longer be silenced. Be polite and have integrity, of course.

I just called....was on hold forever and ended up leaving a message. I think it's funny that they are effectively assassinating their credibility once again. They keep reporting he's out while we quadruple our efforts with boots on the ground and hmmmmmmm who do ya think folks will tend to believe?

Me: "I have a news tip for you, Congressman Ron Paul is still in the race, and I was watching, but you didn't have his name on the ticker"

Operator - "You people have been calling over and over, this not a news tip..."

Me : "Well I thought it may be a news tip because it seems as though you guys are engaging in election rigging by not sharing with the American people honest information about a person in the Presidential Race."

Operator : "Let me transsfer you"

I was put on hold for about a minute, then someone picked up, and hung up.

If somebody "tipped" off CNN that Representative Ron Paul just died, and pointed to some fake BS on Google News. Then when it turns out to be bullshit CNN looks like assholes.

I'm just saying it would be funny, nobody should really do it because that would be wrong and probably get you in trouble.

Can't hurt to call and let them know our opinion. Perhaps in addition we may want to call companies that purchase air time on CNN, they would be able to but more direct pressure on CNN than we can and with only one phone call.

i just called and gave the info and asked WHY? she did not answer the question . i was told that the info would be passed on...

way to get the "Old media" to give RP some props is to make them miserable. Next time they are going to ignore him they might remembver the thousand phone calls they got. Easier to put up his name...

Of course, the opposite is true. When thinking about covering RP they remember all the crap they get no matter what they say and...they figure it is easier to cover something else.

That's why people who want positive media coverage hire PR people to get he job done.

The lady was very nice. She asked me what my news tip was and I told her that my news tip is that RP is still in the presidential race. She said "Thank you for that" with kind of a rolled eyed sound in her voice. I said thank you and we parted ways.

And I just called CNN and the operator said no one will be there to talk to until Monday morning. It is just the media's ploy to ignore Dr. Paul and that's that. Dr. Paul is still in the running and that is the truth. Everyone should stop with the negative thoughts and focus on the positive side with electing Dr. Paul.
