VOLUNTEERS Needed For the Republican National Convention

If we are going to overtake the Convention we will need as many supporter there to back our cause as possible. Become a volunteer.

I've thought for months that going to Minneapolis made more sense than a march in DC. As many here pointed out before a commitment was made to DC, marches there are a dime a dozen. For that reason alone, media attention is likely to be insignificant.

Contrast that with the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago, where antiwar demonstrators dominated news worldwide for days. Violence was part of the reason, but so was massive media presence at an event that occurs only once every four years.

Personally I am in no mood to play nice with the GOP.

You can still go to the Republican National Convention and support Dr. Paul by being a VOLUNTEER.

gah I dont want to come off like some princess here...but I would be all for getting an estimate on what it costs to clean the street and do a chipin so that the MSM rather than reporting on "the big ol mess that the RP punks left all over the city" could begrudgingly say "the Ron Paul supporters have footed the bill for the clean up" and "please feel free to use your choice of portable sanitary facilities generosly provided by the Ron Paul campaign"...just an idea. I think it would be a gesture that would be well received by those veiwing the spectacle from home.

and got one email from them, in which they said they would contact me, but haven't heard anything since. Did anyone else volunteer and get a response? Should I do it again or just wait?

If you are not a delagate and I don't know why not. Yes become a volunteer and if you must, be an alternate volunteer :-) BE THERE!!! But tryin stay off the bridges :-)

I'm sure if you volunteer and then become a delegate, they will understand that you have an obligation that requires that you give up your voluteer position. Become a volunteer. This is as important since we will have contact and be able to give feedback to other delegates who may be undecided.

Our primary is way late.

Something we all can do, just go to St. Paul. Find a Ron Paul supporter and crash out at their home. Give them a few silver coins in exchange!!!

Be in Washington on the 21st of June for Ron Paul and then take a trip to St.Paul!

I'll be there with a great big sign reading;

"Make Washington D.C. into a prison facility".

I just hope we can learn from our mistakes.

Large numbers of peacful, sane, well behaved Americans coming together for the common good is AWESOME.

Angry mobs chasing people around, emiting fear and making more war are BAD and only serve to keep Us stuck in an "us" and "them" head space.

We need to learn to be very large, very visible, and very "quiet". There will be voices that come to our movement once most of us learn to just be here now and listen.

I hope we can do it.
