Press 1 for McCain, Press 2 for Ron Paul --> my first presidental pref phone poll

Ok - so while this topic may not seem significant -- IT IS!
yesterday I got a voicemail (missed the actual call) asking me to Press 1 if I intended to vote for John McCain and Press 2 If I intended to vote for Ron Paul.
So what is significant about this - mostly that a) I've never gotten one of these automated calls before, and the number was that of my cell phone. (The only people that know my cell # are very close friends/family and my state GOP). I'm a delegate for my state so had to fill out some paper work that included a phone number to reach me at.
But yet - why is this significant -> because they are actually polling McCain vs. Ron Paul!!!! (as the only two candidates in the race!!)
I'm actually glad this went to voicemail and I wasn't able to actually press 2 (as I'm a bit paranoid now that I am a delegate) - that something like this will be somehow used to identify me as a known RP supporter; and then used against me at the convention.

id be pressing 1 allllll the way to the convention. then id cast my vote for Dr. Paul! but i'm not a delegate and i cant become one yet....sigh
I think I got the same call
It was on my machine also. It has escaped me now and I think, not sure, that it was before I became a delegate. Not sure. But I agree with you. I would be concerned that they are trying to figure out if we outnumber them. Someone needs to ask what is going on perhaps.
