Dr Paul and Rand Paul say McCain has enough delegates. Is this really true?
This is a sincere question. My understanding is that although McCain has more than the 1192 required delegates to get the nomination (he has 1325 according to http://www.cnn.com/ELECTI...), he does not have the required number of bound delegates. Also, it is not official until McCain actually receives the required votes at the convention, and not any sooner than that.
If what I'm saying is not true, please correct me and provide evidence.
From a providential perspective on politics, McCain is not guaranteed his very next respiration, let alone the next six to nine months, politically or physically. (Ditto regarding each one of us).
I understand that McCain is leaving the country for several months for medical reasons as well.
Bottom line: Please prove to me that McCain actually has the required number of delegates to win the republican nomination. If he doesn't, we need to inform Dr. Paul and Rand Paul regarding the same, so that while they are being judicious and wise, they don't err on the side error.

It's more fundamental than just the numbers. You need to educate yourself about the process by which delegates are selected at both your local & state GOP conventions and who gets to write the bylaws & rules of the GOP committees. That's why there's so many of us that are spreading the TRUTH that mccain DOESN'T have the delegates.

We face an uphill battle against an entrenched enemy that will be VERY hard to dislodge. It may be that we cannot dislodge our enemy in this first battle. Our battle hardened soldiers though will take this knowledge into future battles and we will do even better...we will dislodge them eventually if we keep trying and stick together.

We all knew primary delegates are vitual delegates and not counting. Ony Rep. Nat'n convention in September starting counting from zero.
