We decided last week at our meetup that the only chance we'd have is to remain stealth if we were to get elected as a committeeperson and then on to delegate.

We are dealing with a group of adversaries who are willing to go to war in other countries to protect their interests. Of course they are willing to go to war with anyone who threatens them here in the States as well. Should we really believe they are just going to hand the election or the party over to us? This isn't going to be easy, even if we manage to get a majority of delegates to the Convention. This is why we need as many numbers as we can get to go to St. Paul, delegates and volunteers.

If you can't be a delegate, then volunteer at the convention, you will be able to influence undecided voters.

So, according to Mr Sager, supporting 'their' candidate is more important than supporting the principles, rules, or by-laws of the party. Sounds like it's time to propose and vote on an expulsion there...

This is why we must be polite, low-key, open and respectful (difficult, I know). Because for every one of him there are 3 or 4 watching what we do in response, trying to decide which faction to join, and if we're not careful they'll resent us, too.

We don't want to provoke blowback in the form of voting to "teach us a lesson" from people who might consider Ron Paul, otherwise.

But nobody likes being told who to vote for. And they'll side with us if we make our case with passion. The best speaker/salesman for Ron Paul should not be stealthy. They should be out front.

Sounds like this Alan Sager is exactly the type of sycophant bootlicker that has become the backbone of the Republican Party. Fortunately for us, we know they are weakly supported at the ground level. I've been working hard everyday to convince people that seizing these Precinct Captain seats by vote, or appointment is the best way to go to regain control and redefine the platform of the party. Sager may ask Paulites to support McCain andn the McNasty's, but he cannot force them, and he cannot make them resign!
