As a Quality Assurance tester, I am extremely aware of production problems.
Only extremely rarely do I have site access problems. And if it's down for hours, the emergency backup processes are inadequate (like the Blackberry outage, YouTube outage?)

I was appalled with Katrina that families were moved all over the country. Yet, it took a very long time before searches were posted online for relatives to find each other, particularly kids that got separated from their families.
