What an excellent response! We'll show the ICA just what they are missing.

The pressure is on!
It's not really fair to the good folk in Iowa, but the fact that this has become such an issue means Iowa has to deliver. This is a good early barometer to show that Ron Paul actually has 3D supporters and not just a bunch of Yahoo avatars. If they are expecting 500, we need 5,000 to show. I'd love to come, but it's a pretty big trek from Atlanta to Des Moines. I'm having nightmares of two dozen folk milling about; please don't let that nightmare come true.
Iowa...Let's Roll!
Peace be with you all.
Need advertising rules
Please post information regarding federal laws that regulate citizens' rights to purchase advertising for candidates for President.
The object of advertising, say in the Des Moines Register and on 1040 WHO radio's drive time, would be to create a massive turnout for Dr. Paul's rally. Best scenario is for attendees to be dominated by Iowans.
I'll be checking ad rates on Monday. I may be asking for pledges. Be prepared. Think about your children, whether you've had any yet. It's a small investment for their future.
This is great
When I first heard about Dr. Paul's blacklisting by Fuhrer Failor, I left numerous posts and emails, suggesting that Dr. Paul go to Iowa anyway. I suspect I was not the only one.
I am really glad that this is going to happen, and regret I can't be there.
I know there will be Paul supporters in Iowa, so to the people who have the idea for DVDs, I suggest they take a gang of people into a local establishement and ask them to play it on the house system. I remember Murphy's pub video, and that was terrific.
Enthusiasm is contagious, esp when some dedicated and fun-loving people get together. Far, far better than watching a DVD at home, but of course let the people have them also - but after the event. The enthusiasm will carry forward.
is he really gonna be there?
i was going anyways but this is awesome! well show them were not just internet nerds.wouln't it be awesome if we got a bigger crowd than the forum?lets do it!
Yes, here is the evenful.com info

This is the link to the main menu, Iowa is like fouth down on the list
Invite Dennis Kucinich.
Invite Dennis Kucinich. Invite Ralph Nader. Invite Cindy Sheehan.
Rally against the occupation.
Bring some beer.
Anyone can have a rally...
When people say invite xxx or yyy, they seem to miss out that this is an event that the Ron Paul Campaign is holding, because they aren't going to argue with the ITR people.
I don't see why the Ron Paul campaign should invite other presidential hopefuls to an event that he is hosting, especially when they go out of their way to not have Ron Paul at events.
I agree...
People who were upset about Ron being excluded from the ICA/ITR forum are not interested in Cindy Sheehan or an opposing Democrat (Kucinich) even if he and Ron agree on *some* major issues. The devil is in the details... as they say.
So, for the folks who were going to rally in Iowa as a protest, you may now have a celebration instead, and your jubilant support and numbers alone will in an of itself be an indicator of what a mistake this was by Failor.
Hmm . . I was just thinking
Hmm . . I was just thinking that because Dr. Paul and Dennis Kucinich were the only 2 votes against the Iran genocide propaganda, that inviting Kucinich might draw some Iowa Democrats to the rally where they could hear Dr. Paul as well.
And since Cindy Sheehan was so frustrated with the Democrats that she retired from peace protesting, I thought that inviting her might bring out some Iowans that are similarly frustrated who could then hear Dr. Paul's views on the occupation.
Unless you'd rather just have a Republicans only event?
It'd be really neat to get Bob Dylan to show up!
Nader is not as he appears
I used to like Ralph Nader, but when he wouldn't even look at the 911 evidence (nor would Noam Chomsky) I realized that Nader enjoys a certain amount of power and access, and that asking any serious questions would get some doors closed in his face. So he shucks and jives and talks the party line.
He may fool a lot of people, based on his Green Party past, but not me.
Partially correct
Nader is a consumer advocate. Elections are a consumer issue. When Perot bought his way into the '92 election, Nader decided to "investigate", or challange the system. He found, unless you have money, like Perot, the laws were rapidly being changed in every state, even counties, to assure No Ross Perot would threaten the established parties. To challenge an election, you must be a presidential candidate. That wasn't Nader's invention. That was Nader's problem. The Green Party nominated Nader in 96 and Y2K, and Nader grew the party, but Nader never became a Green, which is why they did not nominate him in 04. Being blocked from ballot access by Democrats, waging 22 law suits in 17 states, to break his campaign financially (which they may try to do to Ron Paul) Nader gained under 500 thousand votes on 37 state ballots. Green Party Cobb collected less than 150 thousand on 49 state ballots. Ron Paul is one of the few elected who stood for Nader's RIGHT to run as an independent, and Nader has endorsed Ron Paul for the GOP ticket. If Nader, who is still in debt from the last election, decides to run, I'll help him work to get ballot access, so he can do his job as a consumer advocate, and cast my vote for Ron Paul. Like Ron Paul, Nader's message gets spun, twisted, and hiden by government supported media and multinational media who are protecting their interests over the truth. The movie, "Unreasonable Man" is worth a look.
