Draft Rand Paul - Independent Candidate for President

Well we fight all the way to the convention for Ron Paul and gather delegates state by state, would it be possible to start a Draft Rand Paul for President Campaign as an Independent

This popped into my mind as I knew it would others. Then I thought, Ron Paul is the one I want because he really has dealt with politicians and held his own ( and ours). Rand is wonderful, but he has never run for anything, has he? I know he has learned from his father, but there is nothing like first hand experience. You are seeking a "fall" guy and we have the greatest thing going for us in his Dad. Let's get this thing done. What are we, a bunch dummies? Let's get it done..

While I made the original post - I do agree with you he has never ran for anything, but...........I would not expect him to win, but perhaps put him in the spotlight enough to get elected to a Senate seat next time out where we can position him for a future national campaign, but I would rather concentrate on getting delegats for Ron Paul.
