Delegates for South Carolina

Hello Everyone,
First post although I have been visiting the site for a couple months.
I have been wanting to get involved with the delegate process and assumed it was all over in my state after the sham of a "primary" we had here in SC. In fact in my precinct with those accursed Diebold machines, we had only 7 votes for Dr. Paul out of over 200 and two of those "7" were me and my wife's. Not buying it.
I saw some very inspirational news coming out of Missouri and other states where Dr. Paul's vote in the "primaries" was held down to unbelievably low levels. Looking further I noticed that we in South Carolina have YET to hold our delegate-selection conventions. Since I get almost daily junk mail from the RNC calling me a member and plaintively begging for me to donate of my hard-earned money to put the hundred-years-McWarmonger in power (guess how I respond to those) I figure that I must be considered a member of the GOP by someone important up thar' in DC.
So I go to the "official" RP site to sign up. and I find out they ONLY want delegates from like 5 or 6 states. In fact I had to lie and put Mississippi as my state (and from TISHAMINGO county, now how cool is that??) just to get the damn form to go through. With an HQ like this, who needs enemies? Geez I gave 'em 900 smackers over the past 10 weeks and this is the kind of "nerve center" we got goin' on?!
I should have given the coin to the Grannies. it would have done far more good.
Anyway, I want my freedom-loving brothers and sisters in the Palmetto State to contact me with info on what the deal is with the Congressional District conventions and what we will do to fill the obviously open delegate seats that no one wants to travel to Minnesota and waste a good week of their time (and missing Carolina football games) to nominate the tragi-comically deluded would-be conquistador of Iran. I want to do my part to save our constitution and country. I have several friends and relatives who support Dr Paul and will gladly take part in this as well.

isn't asking for delegates in states where the delegates are bound.
I think this is a good call on their part, that would be pushing it with the GOP. However, as you probably know by now, delegates can unbind their national delegates at the state convention. You probably need to hurry, because their is a deadline to get your applications in to be on the ballot. E-mail Dr. Parent. You can also look at your state attorney general's website for delegate petitions.

No offense, but I wonder how many Ron Paul supporters are really worried aobut THAT! To be honest, most of the Ron Paul supporters and delegates I have met are Republicans only by convenience, and are hardly beholden to the Party.

I think HQ is staffed with long time supports who help his house seat.
It certainly seems the grass roots supporters come out with more imaginary things than HQ.
But after saying that remember one of the planks in RP thinking.
He does not control the grass roots and under the rules he cannot.
No add up the money GR's put up and their projects and those of HQ. I know I've spent 50% on each. So Ron is getting more bang for his buck. Also consider the likes of Hillary use hundreds of millions and they have to pay people to act as supporters, wave signs etc.
I think the RP campaign will be studied and apart from HucknChuck copying many others will try.
Americans need to realize voting isn't a horse race where you want to pick the winner. It is a statement of where you want your government to be. Ron should stay in until the end! McCain is no choice at all. He is insane.
Hillary will like Bill protect the Bush crimes family and protect Bill and herself.
Never having seen even one fair and honest election I now suspect them all dishonest, so imagine Hillary will carry the day in the end.
We need to work in and around all these processes. Giving in is not a meaningful course of action.
I'm also donating to those others trying to join Ron in the House and Senate. If you are a minority you can control the swing vote and that is a powerful place in politics.

No, not about the delegate process; you must get that answer on your own, as I'm in Oregon and know nothing about your state. You might ask your county chairman about it, to start. But I have another suggestion: if you know the reported vote tallies for your precinct, and they say only 7 voted for RP, why not canvass your precinct and get the scoop? All the suspicion in the world is worth less than just *one* precinct proving there's really a problem.
Everyone in every state, same to you: if you can canvass just one precinct and prove a problem, that will be worth *huge* amounts of any other efforts we could do.
I would do this in my state but we don't vote for 2 more months.

South Carolina Conventions- HELP
Thanks Sam, I have thought the same thing, given the amount of RP yard signs I dont think there were only 5 other intelligently thinkin' folks in my precinct.
But it is time to move ahead and not trifle with the past and the MSM-addled scrubs who "voted" or the meaningless Diebold-rigged beauty contest,
I want to get with like-minded patriots and pull off a "Missouri surprise" right here in good ole establishment-dominated South Carolina. I know several others who would join with me at the district convention, and just want to link in with the right folks. I thought it was all over and done for my state but April 26 is still a long way off and there is time to right the wrongs and keep McWarforever off the ticket.
SC Ron Paul people...who are you... where are you...how are you? : )
