McCain at Villanova
I just received notice that Chris Matthews will be interviewing McCain on April 15th. at Villanova University. Anyone in the area might think of setting up a welcome celebration. Matthews, as expected, has not scheduled Ron Paul for any future interviews -- only the "top three" -- Hillbilly, Obama, and Iron John. It happens that Mathews received an honorary doctorate at Villanova last spring -- payoff time for the talking head. One can't but wonder if Lieberman and Hagee will also accompany McCain while at Villanova. You do recall that McCain-supporter Hagee has described the Catholic Church as the "Whore of Babylon" -- I wonder if anyone at Villanova, which is a Catholic school, would dare ask McCain if he agreed with Hagee. Don't expect the question. Villanova has the usual mandatory and pleasantly harmless "Peace and Justice" program -- which is dedicated against all sorts naughty things that might be called "bad"... but so far has not given any signs that it disagrees either with Bush's bloody war or Hagee's crazy-talk.
