Jim rogers is a phoney and a wimp. He's left the US and NOW he's going to shoot his mouth off about it?

Pluheeze.

Where is this "great man" as someone here descibed him when it came time to put some money up for Ron Paul?

Singapore. So he traded the US for an Asian Police State ?

Good riddance jimmy boy

If you've made a decision to leave the US, fine. I understand that. But don't go shooting your mouth off now especially when all you did was lend a little vocal support if any at all for Ron Paul. We gave money. You know jimmy boy? MONEY. What did you do? Leave like a pansy and now get mouthy about it?

Watch your back.

Nothing really intelligent

Nothing really intelligent to add here but just to say Jim Rogers is a great man.

Isn't it interesting how the reporter openly reveals her inner most dark side. She is basically showing her viewers that IF SHE was in Jim shoes she'd be happy that the global economy is imploding so she could make a few more million. Not only is she extremely cold hearted, she wears it proudly on her sleeve. I'll bet she kills puppies for fun on the weekend. LOL!

I listened to and read Jim Rogers for a long

tiime. He has always kept his finger on the pulse of the money flow and usually seems to know where the safest and most profitable positions lie. His remarks, regarding the Fed having dumped $400 Billion of garbage onto their balance sheet, is something that I do not hear discussed very much. One of things that he points out (not in this interview) about the Bear-Stearns fraud is that, in January of 2008, Bear-Stearns paid out billions of dollars in bonuses. Had they been forced into bankruptcy, those bonuses could have rightly become the subject of the bankruptcy proceedings. Instead they were "bought out" (for $2.03 per share) and there is no recapture question regarding the bonuses in that case. That whole deal stinks like a dead and rotting fish to me.

That gets me REALLY ANGRY!

Billions of dollars in bonuses in JANUARY - Real nice. I agree, this whole deal does stink like rotting fish to me. Couple that with JIM CRAMER telling his viewers NOT to worry about BS (Hmmm I just realized that Bear-Sterns shorted is BS) and that they were fine! I swear he was in on the whole fiasco.

How do they justify paying out BILLIONS in bonus just two months before they collapsed?

How much did the CEO walk away with I wonder.

Previously known as DCALIFANO

Somethings up

As much as I admire Jom Rogers, and agree with what he is saying, I just have to wonder : Why is he all of a sudden getting all this airtime? He's been around for years, and he was never on. The same people who blacklisted him the past 10 years, all of a sudden can't seem to get enough of him. Something seems fishy, just can't put my finger on it. Thoughts?

Well one question one has to

Well one question one has to ask about the MSM is do you believe that ALL the media is centrally controlled? Or, are the major networks at war with eachother fighting as serogate shadows for their respective handlers? I'm inclined to believe the latter and view CNBC as more a liberal propaganda machine. They really aren't in the position to get behind Paul, yet Paul is what they have to inflict itself on its intended targets.

Then along comes Jim who has a book out. Which in all likelyhood expands on one of Dr.Pauls talking points. Which then gives credibility to Pauls arguement without them having to actually promote Paul.

IMO we should be requesting Jim on all the networks.

What's up is that

the MSM cannot marginalize him anymore. He was the commodity guy when the MSM loved the equities. Now they see that he was so right on that they have to talk to him if he is willing to talk to them. Fortunately for us, he is willing to talk. How about Ron Paul? During the campaign the MSM didn't want anything to do with him. Now he's on Fox talking about the economy and the dollar 3 times a week and he's going to be on Kudlow tonight. The MSM still has to show advertisers that people will actually watch their ridiculous networks and shows, and people want to listen to both of these guys. So what I think is up is the bottom line, which is very important to these pukes.

the feds days are numbered

Thank you for the videos, I liked this man and what he had to say until the last video, when he said I'd rather let the EU run the federal reserve?? wonder what he ment by that, any way I think sence the fed reserve is printing all this money that if you bought stock in companys that produce lets say INK, and PAPER, wood pulp, etc! you would make a killing. just my 2 cents, what do you think?

EU run the FED?

Yes, I heard that comment too and it bothered me. I am hoping he was being sarcastic, in that the EU would be better than the Federal Reserve.

He is making money---but that is not the issue

Jim is intelligent enough to know how to make money no mater what the market does---It would be to everyone's best if they could do the same.

He may have different motives for wanting to close the FED, no matter, it Must be done to get congress to follow our constitution in regards to what our LAW says is Legal Tender---Gold and Silver.

Thanks for the video

This man is a rare commodity in the world of finance, always interesting listening to him. As much as the reporters try to sway him, he doesn't give into it.

RARE? His first partner was

RARE? His first partner was soros who is a virtual communist. That's rare?

LOL
