I just got this in an email. The website it is from is a little distasteful, but the information seems to be making it around the net. Can anyone verify this?

Not only did members discuss new surveillance provisions as was the publicly stated reason for the closed door session, they were also bluntly warned about:
the imminent collapse of the U.S. economy to occur by September 2008,
the imminent collapse of US federal government finances by February 2009,
the possibility of Civil War inside the USA as a result of the collapse,
advance round-ups of "insurgent U.S. citizens" likely to move against the government,
The detention of those rounded-up at "REX 84" camps constructed throughout the USA,
the possibility of retaliation against members of Congress for the collapses,
the location of "safe facilities" for members of Congress and their families to reside during expected massive civil unrest
the necessary and unavoidable merger of the United States with Canada (for its natural resources) and with Mexico (for its cheap labor pool),
the issuance of a new currency - THE AMERO - for all three nations as the proposed solution to the coming economic armageddon.
Members of Congress were FORBIDDEN to reveal what was discussed and ABC News via WCPO web site CONFIRMS congress members were FORBIDDEN to talk about it!

You think that for one second he'd keep any of this secret other than the wiretap provisions? What would they do to him if he didn't? Answer: they could do nothing to him in a legal sense. I assure you we would know by now if anything other than the wiretap bill were discussed, especially if it was the types of things claimed in this post.

What was *discussed* behind Closed Doors?
The fact that a Closed Door meeting occurred isn't being questioned, but whether the many other appalling topics listed were discussed, as well.
However, if Hal Turner is the original source of the e-mail posted by the OP and is being circulated, the information in the e-mail has much less credibility.
I know of at least one activist who forwarded something to her entire list via the Hal Turner show, only to be embarassed when it was proved wrong.
I hope this is not true. But the Law put in place supports it.
They must know that there will be millions of pissed people.
Hell will have no fury as people see their world destroyed.
Even the cops will stand back.
If they use the military there will be civil war.

We are nearly 300 million.
Maybe the government will fall and we change them all.

My previous post was flagged -- I will write a short one -- for it to be flagged again.
I will cut to the chase.
Bush will attack and bomb Iran this summer -- then he (Federal World Government satanic clan) will do a False Flag on our troops with massive KIAs -- more KIAs in a couple of days than we lost in Nam or Korea.
Easy with high concentration of our troops there.
That will justify ground invasion of Iran for the oil. Another False Falg; this one on our soil -- probably a nuke -- will usher in Martial Law.

Nothing on Snopes so far - I did submit it for verification (however, if it *is* true, I would suspect that DHS would be involved!)
I tend to agree that the "secrets" could never be kept; however, if you were an elected official and someone made a good case about the risk of a national panic (with possibility of *arrest*??) if the information got out, what would you do?
Did RP attend? And what would/did *he* do?

How do you keep copies? I am uncertain.
U was on Youtube for over a year and they booted me off, made me disappear like i never existed. i had over 50+ RP supporters on there as my main contact. GONE in seconds with over 400+ vids watched and then several other contacts on the Illegal immigration, NAFTA issue. No explanation, no profanity, just deleted me and will not allow me back.

How to keep copies
There are several different ways to make copies/back up your contacts (think about your cell phone contacts, as well!)
For DP, I simply highlight the whole thread (which I may do for *all* the pages), and copy/paste it into an e-mail. I happen to have Qualcomm's Quicken, which before they decided to *drop it*, they added the equivalent of Google search to my 4 gig of e-mail archives (almost 4000 mailboxes!)
For RP2008.com press releases and Daily Dose, I simply use the "Save As" capability directly to a directory (called Politics!) on my hard drive for the webpage. I do that with Lew Rockwell's blog summary page (I add the date at the end to make each save unique), as well. Some sites have deactivated the ability to "Save As" somehow-
If I really have to save something in a more structured fashion (like testing applications at clients), I simply take screen prints and paste them into a Word document. To keep a picture of all windows open on your monitor, CTRL-PRT works. To just get the active window, ALT-PRT works. Then paste into e-mail or Word.
For regular e-mail, I almost always blind-copy myself. That way I have access to the entire thread via webmail, as well as those e-mail addresses. I *definitely* use Yahoo and GMail as "offsite backup" of my e-mails that way!
We have had paid website hosting for several years ($95/year for a *terabyte* of storage). I have backed up my Quicken, digital camera pictures, scanned financial documents, etc. offsite there, as well.
If your computer hard drive truly crashed unreadable, what would you lose? Burn critical things, like your family digital pictures, to DVD/CDs or send them as attachments to yourself to your webmail-
From other posters here on DP, apparently if YouTube deletes the *videos*, they are available elsewhere for some amount of time.
Given these potentially devastating times, if you knew your house was going to be destroyed, what copies would you make and where would you keep them elsewhere? Safety deposit boxes may not be the best option these days!

Kucinich on Secret Meeting
Don't know if this helps, but here is a UTube of Kucinich on the secret meeting. He says he refused to go as he doesn't believe in "secret meetings." The main thing it indicates to me is just how important it is/ was to the powers that be that the surveillance provisions gain support.
While I personally believe that many if not most of the above "rumors" could indeed come to pass...so often the modus operandi is to spread false information about things that really might happen. Then disprove the "report" like this one as ridiculous and conspiracy theory. People then back away from some of their greatest fears and go back to sleep while "the plan" moves on. Anyway, kudos to Kucinich for refusing to go. Anyone know if Ron Paul attended? I do not think he would ever sign a statement saying he would not reveal proceedings and if these kind of topics were ever discussed, I don't think *that* closed door meeting would ever include Ron Paul After all, he's got an army!

On Kucinich and other Players
Some people say that Kucinich (and even Paul) among others are just putting on a good show for us, to think that there are still some good apples left in Washington. Just like the Democrats and Republicans put on a good divisive show for us everyday on CSPAN and elsewhere. They want to make us believe they are fighting each other but those who engage their brain know that is not the truth. It is an illusion, a psychological ploy to think the two party system keeps us balanced and in-check. Anyone who has seen how the House and Senate votes knows this is beyond false. Impeachable offenses are simply ignored, if not embraced. Confirmed election fraud is not even mentioned on the news. Spitzer's WashingtonPost article revealing the feds collusion to deny the States the ability to prevent the housing market crash. And on and on and on and on and on and on.... They are ALL working for the same end: THE NEW WORLD ORDER.

I have been receiving Ron Paul's newsletters for years and always said if he ever ran for office he would probably be shot. Well in a way he has been with all the MSM bias. He has a voting record that he stands by, so if in fact he is putting on a good show, it is one that has been going on for years and years and years. Actually decades.

This is basically how I see the country being manipulated and have for a long time. have you everi asked your self why the country would foresee the need to build FEMA camps ? they are basically Human containment centers ( concentration camps ). 5th time in 183 years or something like that. As far as what was discussed... no one knows other than the people there. Secret sessions are bad for that very fact. We are long overdue for some transparency in government. God knows they are spying on us.
