What are you doing to Support Ron Paul? Only 100 are doing anything? WOW!

We are growing again!! I thought this would be a good thing to start for people to see all the different ideas of how to support Ron Paul.
1) sending letters to delegates and become one. if you are one or want to be one, learn Robert's Rules of Order.
2) posting a blogspot at http://ronpauldonatetoday... w/2 polls and videos and info.
3) rallying~we have had three at our Legislature building
4) walking precincts, handing out slim jims, LDS, We The People material.
5) watching training videos at www.ronpaul2008.com
6) joined a meetup at www.meetup.com
7) donating time and money
8) writing congress at www.congress.org
9) reviewing the other candidates records at www.senate.gov and www.usbc.org
10) spreading the message of our Constitution
11) Passing out slim jims and anti-tax info at the Main Post Office.
Please add what you have done to support Ron Paul and we can have a great way to share with others our ideas of continuing OUR message of Freedom! Thanks.

Remember we need to
Rally for Freedom on April 15th at your state capital at Washington D.c. (where Ron and Carol Paul are going to be) or your Main Post Office if you cannot make it to either Capital Building. We will have press at ours at noon, so it is important to make a good showing for Ron Paul and our Love of Freedom Rally.Show up at least by 11 a.m to 1p.m.

on and send a letter to Congress regarding all of the things they say they are doing to protect our nation, but why are our borders not secured, but they want to plaster all legal citizens with a suposed REAL ID w/all our medical records, financial records, etc... available on this card with a tracking device in it. We already have cameras on every corner and in practically every building and parking lot, not to mention the GPS in our phones and cars, we are being tracked, that is not FREEDOM for the one bad apple that is out there to do wrong, we are paying. No longer FREEDOM because they can cut you off in seconds, if you need this to get a job, etc...they can decide you did something wrong, just like YOUTUBE just recently did with me, on a much smaller scale, offer up no explanation and you are basically SOL! Then if they decide to tie that to your bank account or your food source, then what???

Seattle, 36th District Checking In
We got killed in our caucus yesterday. No RP Delegates. The entire thing went to the enemy.
Today I am working in helping the King, County, 43rd District by making phone calls and getting them better organized and prepared than we were.
We all need to show up in force to all future events. Today I am rallying the troops.

I tell you I have some real bad thoughts toward McCain and I feel pretty sad that I do, but man this is so important, this election, people waking up. Can you get a list of the delegates and send them some mailers, slim jims or a vid? I have a list of mine and all the non-RP are getting a little something from me in the mail and by vid.

writing letters to congress
sat in NH recount for 3 weeks counting votes
Involved with freedom force Int, John Birch etc
Going to Sec of State monday to see if MCInsane got required signatures
Attend all rallies
And many other things I cant think of at the moment

on april 15th to Restore the Constitution

(1) Going to my county convention this Saturday.
(2) Have walked half my precinct, recruited two others to walk the rest (and followed up), and in so doing had a majority of Ron Paul delegates at my precinct convention. Elected unanimously as precinct convention chair the night of my primary.
(3) Have been writing Congress for many years on various issues, usually via Downsize DC. Have also recently written twice to my state rep and senators on REAL ID. Have received BS answers from the U.S. congresspeople; have yet to hear a peep from my state legislature.

Learn from Our Mistakes
Do not show up with only the Delegates and Alternates from your District.
Rally the support of every Ron Paul supporter within driving distance. Get there early and get signs up.
Have literature prepared and don't spare any punches. Be aggressive, go for kill shots and take John McCain down. Tell all the Sheeple that they are being Neo-Conned AGAIN. Don't let it happen.

I will be praying
for you and your county for the convention to go really, really well, I hope you know Robert's Rules. I really hope the platforms get through, but if not, they can happen at the state in case you have to be in cognito. I have received answers from our Reps and one congressman completely ignores me. I will keep planting the seeds to him though.
I also pray for a complete excorcism of our govt officials. What do you think? LOL ;0)

i 'captured' a few
the ones that complain about everything alll the time, but then did not show at the convention. You know the type, leave it to everyone else to handle it, but when there is some bi@#%en to do, they are the ones right there doing it. I was pretty bummed out when I had six people to become delegtes and only one showed at the convention....uuugh! They were delegates. I tried to explain to them how important it was for them to commit and how their delegate vote counted for more than any Popular vote, but uuugh!! Oh well one+one can equal a lot more and all we need is one more than McCain and then one more than Obama! Ye-haw!

Been doing Gun Shows for Ron Paul
Myself and another lady and her husband have been renting
a table at guns shows across Nebraska. It has been a really good
way to get the word out about Ron Paul. We also picked up quite a few delegates this way.

Not only is it an excellent venue to tell people about Ron Paul..the message
is usually pretty well received.
But those guys that go to the shows are allot of fun to talk to as allot
of them are pretty well informed.
The part that blows my mind is I always run into a few Hillary supporters
that have tables at these shows selling guns..I'm like hello

People in general seem quite clueless about what is really going on, how their candidate votes and what they tout is usually quite different.
i just watched the View today on Obama and i found myself talking to the T.V. and saying, "waht about...and what about...?"
Most people do not know that his and Clinton's and McCain's voting record do not go with what the majority of americans want, far from it. But they listen to good speeches and the MSM telling them how the so-called polls went and they vote based on voting "AGAINST" the other person.
And again I say if our Diebold voting systems really were working without the programmer swaying the numbers. We need out paper ballots back, and yes we need to keep a very important 2nd ammendment right!!

to a large degree people were giving RP a lot of grief after his congressional run, but I said give him a break.

I took out ads in
our local paper. I have given a lot of money to the campaign and will give more. I stand in a crowd of ignorant people at the store, bank, burger joint or anywhere the subject can be broached and plead Ron Pauls case. I give away bumper stickers. Anything I can do, I do.

you live in an area with affordable advertising, I think everyone needs to check it out and see if they can advertise in their local paper, we have seen some awesome adds across the country for Paul and we took up donations in our area to make it happen. I think I have a copy of an ad that was placed up Northeast somewhere, which was fantastic.

first of all, you're probably confusing me with the jackass troll who stole my name... the only difference is he's ONE voice of Reason and I'm just "a Voice of Reason".
Secondly, if everyone put down the signs and had canvassed we would have done better. I spent as much time as I could canvassing and it worked. The reason we failed was not because of the media (though that's part of it), it's because people (I'm guessing you included) wasted time waving signs.
So, instead of continuing failed methods, try the methods that actually work... or you could just keep trying to wave signs.... good luck with that.

I hear what you are saying
sign waving versus canvassing. yes, we can "capture" more with talking individually with a person, but sign waving is still doing some good and some people are not comfortable going door to door or chatting it up. Listen, it will take all types to get RP elected and get our country turned around.
We are a diverse nation, but we have more in common than we have differences. Come together and support our similiarities because we all know "United we stand and divided we will fall"

lets people know he is still in it and some find out who he is for the first time. and believe me ther are folks out there that are disgusted with the other choices and remember some haven't even tuned in yet.
Sign waving serves a purpose
And that is to visibly demonstrate support to the public. There are jobs in this revolution for people of every talent, capacity, and level of time commitment available. For some folks, sign waving is about all they can do, as it is easy, takes little time, and can be done sporadically without much need to plan. And, as long as the other candidates have people waving signs, we need them too. So, anyone who wants to wave signs, I say go for it.
I've waved Ron Paul signs at 30 below zero this winter, leading up to our caucus in Alaska. Waving signs to thousands of passing motorists shows public support, which is heightened when those thousands of motorists hear their fellow motorists honking at us. Despite the fact that it was 30 below, it was time well spent.

Now you tell me sign waving doesn't work. I just spent the morning loading and unloading about 2 tons of signs that came in from HQ.....in the snowfall.
But seriously... it was a real pleasure to work with other patriots just to do something together and get to know each other..
We were relocating supplies from a busy warehouse in Pittsburgh's famous Strip District. We had dozens of people passing by, who were not involved in the campaign asking for signs and slim jims.
Many thought Ron Paul had dropped out and were happy to hear he is still running.
And the best part was seeing how passionate and almost desperate our Ron Paul supporters from other countries are about restoring America to a country of freedom, opportunity and hope. They are on fire and they are willing to go through brick walls for this movement. They've seen their own counties go down the tubes (Soviet Union) and they see it coming here and they are unwilling to sit idlely by and let it happen.

Sign waving and distribution is and always will be important to demonstrating public support for our candidate (or any other candidate). Ignore the naysayers and get those two tons of signs out there on the streets. I am so gratified to hear that HQ is seriously contesting Pennsylvania, after many of us feared they would not. Go Ron Go! Go DWB Go!

I want to start doing something again, as I've been busy with other things since McCain was declared "winner". I know that things will change before November and I want to be part of giving Dr. Paul the best chance to help save our country. So we need to be active and stay uniteds in the cause thanks for reminding me!
i've been
doing some informing and petitioning about real id and impeachin bush too. Making people aware of the costitutional rights they have lost and just what it can snowball into ( and has in alot of cases) How they need to be aware they may need protection from their own goverment. well you all know what I'm saying. THAT GETS THEM LOOKING AT WHAT THE CANDIDATES ARE REALLY SAYING AND OF COURSE THEY SEE HOW RIGHT ON RON PAUL IS. Y ou know how many times I've heard people who were being herded in to other candidates say "He's the only one that make sense and i can understand what he's talking about. It feel so good when that happens. people get caught up in the hype. and get like thatVideo that was up here. where if the guy asked them what policy thay liked about a candidate they didn't even know.
After reading everything I
After reading everything I could about Ron Paul last summer, I emailed the campaign in September and got a list of republican voters in my county. I called and found many supporters. We had meetings to prepare for the caucus. Ron Paul got almost 10% at the caucus. I asked one of the supporters if he would give a 3 minute speech for Ron Paul at the caucus. I also encouraged him and another supporter to think about running for some type of political office. They are both seriously thinking about it.
I attended my county GOP meetings for the first time in order to learn everything I could to help Ron Paul. I donated as much money and more to the campaign than my husband would have liked, but he also supports Ron Paul and he didn't say too much. I bought yard signs and fliers and had 7 Ron Paul signs in our yard at one time. I burned up tankfuls of gas delivering signs and fliers. After the caucus I delivered leftover signs and fliers to another state for their upcoming primary.
I wrote 3 letters to the editor supporting Ron Paul. I emailed all my friends and family with every good Ron Paul article I could find. I passed out fliers. I emailed Ron Paul Information to local talk radio.
At the caucus I was only able to get an alternate delegate position. One Ron Paul supporter got on the platform committee and we got several Ron Paul ideas into the the platform. I spoke out in public for the first time in my life in order to support the Ron Paul planks. At the county convention there were 3 delegate seats open to go to the district convention and I got one of those. I will be attending that convention next month.
Last night, with the help of a dailypaul forum posting, I volunteered to help at the national convention in case I don't get a delegate position. Which reminds me, can anyone out there offer suggestions on what to write to the other delegates on the list?
