Off Topic: A question for 9-11 truthers

I was wondering what you might know about the anthrax letters that were distributed shortly after 9-11. I suspect that this was a professional job, and evidence suggests that the antrhax spores were manufactured right here in the good ol' U. S. of A..

If anything stinks of an inside job, this does. I just want some extra feedback.

Note that all of the people

Note that all of the people anthrax was sent to, spoke out against the Patriot Act

Scotty T why aren't your researching this?

Why are you bringing this question here?

What is your motivation?

There are volumes of research and commentary on this subject on the net. In two clicks you can read info from people who have actually put the sweat into it to have a decent conclusion.

The issue I have with the truth community is they think our world today was born and died with 9/11.

F 9/11 it has been going on for centuries. Research and let go of the movement...once you have done enough study, you will learn that that movement is the most infiltrated and marginilized of them all. If you work for the truthers you are working for the elite who put the show on in the first place.

I just want to know why people insist on posting 9/11 threads here. There at least 200 sites that have gone into it in depth.

It makes me wonder what you are trying to do. We aren't equipped to discuss anthrax here and you need me to tell you this?

Well excuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me.

Actually, the research I'm doing involves Fair Housing Act caselaw--I'm a law student who shows up here from time to time only to get shit on by folks like you. Lighten up.

Tstorey has a point

Tstorey has a point....a search engine and a little investigating will get you far, plus a bit of common sense. Start thinking for yourself.

Thanks for the insight so far...

It's really interesting to think that this totally disappeared from the 'war on terror' dialog after our mission was 'accomplished' in Iraq.

I'm mainly relying on memory of the whole incident, but I remember the Libertarian Party folks were pretty pissed off about the whole thing. They called it a "mail embargo," because they couldn't get any mail in and out of their HQ for well over a month.

I think this is an important piece in the puzzle. The more I think about it, the whole WMD issue in Iraq wouldn't have been as persuasive had it not been for those letters.

May Be

A diversion tactic to route the general public off of the 911 truth trail....

The Discovery Channel did a documentary that said

flat out it was an inside job. As soon as the info about the military grade anthrax came out, the story disappeared from the media. Go figure.

Scarier still...

nothing was found in Iraq. Maybe the man's plan backfired? Hmmmm.

No

it was not an inside job, but thanks for contributing yet another conspiracy theory

I flagged you, you Bastard,

I flagged you, you Bastard, with "anti-liberty troll". And I will continue to do so until you are DEAD on the Daily Paul!

sorry

you can't do that

omg... i flagged you... lol

omg... i flagged you... lol

Why, do your

Why, do your government-taught hacking skills preclude it?

FUCK OFF!

No

If you understood how the real world works you would know why...has nothing to do with the government..any reasonably intelligent person know how to change an IP address

Please take your squabble elsewhere.

I respect your right to an opinion, and you expressed it. Now you can move on.

If you don't want to contribute to this thread then ignore it. I'm just trying to get some extra insight, not let folks know that I am right or smarter than them.

you say that with such certainty

is there something youre not telling us? Do you have some inside knowledge about the case that the government may need?

what's your exact definition

what's your exact definition of a conspiracy theory?

Keep telling yourself this,

Keep telling yourself this, buddy. Perhaps enough repetition will make it true.

I have a few questions for you. Did the DNA from the anthrax in the first batch match the Ames strain? Are the only stores of Ames strain anthrax found in government labs? Did two viles of the Ames strain anthrax go missing right before the letters were sent? Was the first person accused of the attacks an employee of the lab where the two viles went missing? Was he cleared of all wrong doing in the attacks? Was the investigation shut down shortly after he was cleared? Yes is the answer to all of these questions. Look it up in the official reports if you don't know that.

Was it an inside job? No one except the culprits can say with 100% certainty but the evidence and circumstances strongly point in that direction. If you want to deny the evidence exists then you have the right to do so but for the sake of all of us, leave the conversation for the adults who are able to differentiate fact from opinion so we can work things out together.

You're exactly right

there's no such thing as a conspiracy, the 9/11 "investigation" had no holes in it, AQ actually guessed the secret service code name for Air Force One and issued a threat to it -- "Angel is next," then they were able to steal some of our own supply of weaponized anthrax and mail it to the media and those in DC who were opposing the passage of the Patriot Act. Sleep tight.

Keep you 'scared' so you will cede your liberties more easily.

What´s the chance some

What´s the chance some terrorists walks into a military lab and steals anthrax.
When you remove everything impossible, whatever is left, however implausible, must be true!

this guy describes it clearly, despite that he´s a comedian, he talks about the anthrax, and more. Serious subject, but still funny..

Sehr Gut!

In spite of not understanding a sentence in Deutsch, I laughed and laughed at all 5 parts of the link. Danke Schoen! Herr Pispers is quite on the mark every step of the way. Like Germans, Americans suffer from an exaggerated sense of injury and fear addiction. We respond to perceived threats way out of proportion to their actual dangers. More people die in fatigue related traffic accidents and heart disease than from drug use or terrorism, but we nevertheless expend our emotional and financial capital worrying about drunk driving terrorists coming to America to give us AIDS and breast cancer.

long time since I read

long time since I read that....was good books, maybe I will re reed them some day.

You seem to know as much as

You seem to know as much as most "turthers" when it comes to the anthrax letters.

To give a little detail... There were two types of spores sent out. The first "batch" was top shelf military grade stuff. The second "batch" was poor quality, the kind of stuff a biology major could make if they put some time and effort into it.

The important thing about the first batch is that it was a perfect DNA match to the Ames strain, which is stored at Fort Detrick (sp?) in Maryland. It just so happens that two viles of that strain went missing prior to the attacks. The Ames strain anthrax was sent to a few members of Congress who were opposed to the Patriot Act and who had the political muscle to put up an effective resistance.

That the anthrax came from a US government lab is not questioned. The man originally suspected has been cleared of all wrong doing (though his life was still ruined). The investigation ended soon after that man was cleared. We don't know a whole lot more than this, but I think that's enough to call it a politically motivated inside job.

Little can be said about the second batch because of its poor quality. I speculate that it was cover for the first batch in some form but I can't say anything for certain.
