Any medical doctors out there re: McCain's health?

I was wondering about the current concerns about McCain's melanoma and potential metastases. Some have concerns of dementia so I put the two together. Could there be a possible connection? I looked at this article and they could be linked. But I would like a more authoritative voice on this.
What's the possibility and what's the prognosis before September?

Lenin had only half a brain .... seriously!
In 1992 it was revealed in Russia that, according to doctors, one hemisphere of Lenin's brain had been NON-FUNCTIONAL since birth. The wrong half was filled with calcium deposits. I don't think they have any idea how he survived his life... if you can call it life... the man was a maniac.

In the fairy tales we heard as children, trolls lurked under bridges and grabbed unsuspecting passersby for lunch. In the context of this site, trolls seem to be people who are either covert supporters of some other candidate who want to discourage us, or people with psychological problems who get off on spreading dissension and doubt. I guess if you don't have any real core beliefs of your own, you might resent or even hate people who do. You might make a hobby of trying to destroy other people's self confidence, to prove to yourself that your own doubts and fears are "normal." Hence trolls. They really do want to eat you for lunch. Your spirit, anyway.

I also think we should not put much "hope" that McCain's health will fail. His mother is still living and active at 96 years old. What is more realistic to happen that could take him down is revelations about his connections with lobbyists (there must be some scam somewhere to come out) and/or he says/acts very foolishly, that could also cost him the nomination. He has such a temper and not fit to govern. If there is a lot of stress on him, he may make a mistake. He has also limits in fundraising an d problems with his own McCain-Feingold bill. Another thing is also resistance by many conservatives to accept him. Some will never vote for him, regardless of the circumstances.
Also: he received 2/3 of the GOP anti-war vote, if these delegates see the light, they will notice he is actually a warmonger and Dr. Paul their ideal candidate. This could lead him to change mind and vote for Dr. Paul.
Also: a worsening situation with not only the economy, but also in Iraq, would profit Dr. Paul and ant-war candidates.

The "guy" seems about as healthy to me as Lenin in his tomb. (In fact, how much difference in ANY regard is there between the two?). Just LOOK at the man objectively, he's clearly on death's doorstep! Which means, maybe we should really be looking more closely at whomever TPTB chooses for his running mate.

It says that a common metastases for melanoma is the brain. That's why I wanted some professional insight on this. I believe it is important in understanding the course from here until September.
