A good day to put aside our misgivings, fears and doubts and consider this: We could all still be asleep, inexoribly heading to a fate we had no ability to alter. Ron Paul was my alarm clock. Whatever differences we may have with each other, I am ever so greatful to have you folks here at my e-side through this!

A Time of Renewal
Happy Easter to you! To you, Happy Spring!
It's the time of renewal and awakening!
Shake off the heaviness of rivalries passed!
Infighting and discord will bring us down fast
We fight 'mongst ourselves: solidarity fades,
Malcontent festers; dejection invades
Dispiriting figures, the media shared.
Our fortitude faltered; our vision impaired
The news seemed so dismal; the outlook so gray
Some got discouraged...some drifted away
But, lo; what is this? A new wave appears!
New energies rise up with action and cheers!
The grassroots are stirring. Despite all the strife,
We are revitalized, bursting forth with new life!
Just you look: see those branches, bare sticks in the air?
They look naked and dead. 'Tisn't anything there.
But I giddily smile, for I know coursing through
Those "dead" branches is power to make life anew!
Look! Now there's a bud! And another! What ho??
It looks like this "dead thing" is starting to grow!
Now it's leafing and blossoming flowers atop it!
It's exploding in bloom now! Nothing can stop it!
So don't give up hope. Fear not the trolls.
This revolution's bigger than Diebold or polls.
Beneath OM's radar, our plans are congealed...
Behold: in September -- a NEW thing revealed!

Okay, I had only set out to echo "happy Easter and happy Spring" and say that I, too, am thankful...suddenly, I was channeling Dr. Seuss. Didn't mean to go all poetic and such. Guess it just (*guffaw*) sprang forth!
