Why are Americans willing to tolerate this at all? In a time not too long ago, had something like the Jeremiah Wright garbage came up during a campaign, I think the candidate's support would have evaporated overnight. It is truly sad to think that there are so many foolish people out there, and that their vote counts just as much as yours or mine. Perhaps America's best days truly are behind her.

God is the leading cause of death. We still don't know what it really means to die, but it's generally viewed as bad.
Anyway, this Obama thing is just same old story-type politics. It's a big black church and he gets a big black vote from it. It would make me feel a little better if Obama actually did buy into the anti-american sentiments because he'd be more inclined to change the direction this country has gone in to create such division and inspire hatred throughout this country and the world. But you can't guess someone's motivations. The true telling signs are his affiliation with the CFR and his backing from Goldman-Sachs and other big banks.
The globalists aren't this sloppy. A Democrat is supposed to take the white house this year. That's why Bush has such a low approval rating. That's why Cheney gets on the news and says "SO!"
We have to rise above the negatives and concentrate on waking this country up to what we've learned. The American Patriot is a beast they've not yet seen. Keep the message alive, your eyes open, and your voices strong!

If you want to argue about a topic that is completely irrelevant go to the obama forums. What value does this add to any RP supporters life? Are you going to use this as ammo when you talk to people? I hope not. We don't need to concern ourselves with the dog and pony show in the media. In fact, since they aren't covering RP, you should turn your TV's off. But if Wright was ghost writing those comments under Obama's name and Obama had to take moral responsability whilste Wright not owning up to what he did, it would be a whole different story.

My take is that someone who truly supports Ron Paul and understands his views cannot possibly make any excuses for Obama or consider him as a "second choice."

However, Daily Paul is for the support of Ron Paul and his campaign for the presidency. So a post about Obama and the press's failure to report really has little to do with Dr. Paul or his campaign.

Your final paragraph, that Ron Paul is our only hope, is fine.

But reading about a democrat candidate and the press's favoritism, I can only shrug and exclaim, "So? What else is new?"

This is one of the reasons that I do not trust Obama. His pastor of 20 years is anti-American and a racist - but Obama never knew? I doubt it. I'm sure Obama knew these things all along but never cared enough until his pastor's racism and anti-Americanism could have a negative impact on his presidential campaign. Does anyone honestly believe that Obama would reject his pastor if he was not running for president?

The other reason I don't trust Obama --- he is related to Bush & Cheney. Yes, Obama is related to both of them. Isn't it interesting that the first black man who actually has a real chance of becoming US President is related to George Bush and Dick Cheney? Yeah, they share the same blood line that goes way far back. The same blood line that has managed to remain a ruling class for hundreds and hundreds of years...

Let's not forget that the sermon was given the Sunday after 9/11 -- He was a bit riled up as was most people across this land thinking we were attacked by an outside element. Just imagine how mad they'd be KNOWING that attack came from within (inside job).

An acquaintance in Fremont CA was illegally passed over for promotion in the City's Fire Department. They waived the requirements for both qualifications and rank to give the promotion to a woman in an affirmative-action cheat. He objecteded and got nowhere, so he went to the EEOC to file a formal complaint.

The black woman at the desk was outraged at him and told him to leave or she'd call the police, and they got into a screaming match. Her supervisor came out and asked what the hell was going on, and the clerk told her (the Sup was a genetically Aisian woman) that, "This Honkey is in here f---ing with me, trying to jerk me around about filing a discrimination complaint!"

When the Sup asked what was wrong with that, the clerk exclaimed, "He can't be discriminated against, he's White!!!"

The Sup had to order her to take the complaint under threat of immediate suspension, and it was clear that the clerk never understood the issue, nor did she try. (The complaint went nowhere, of course.)

The MSM wants us focusing on irrelevant issues so we don't look at what what's important. The entire story of Obama's pastor is soooo meaningless, because Obama has said enough himself to reveal his true colors. And, as many others have already commented, the pastor's statements were taken out of context. Many people have said that this country would suffer God's judgement for the evils done by the gov't. For abortion or injustice, God has said he will judge and who can say how this country might be punished?

But when it comes to Obama's real opinion on race, you need only listen to him. He may be half white, but he talks like he's all black and, if you scratch the surface, he's an angry black.

I don't think it matters anyway, because I believe that McCain is destined to "win" the "election" , but white people who support Obama will suffer the same ingratitude and self-righteous slap in the face that he bestowed on his white grandmother. The tragedy is that Obama is gifted to an extraordinary degree with a poetic voice that seduces anyone who listens. He truly sounds benevolent and inspired whenever he speaks.

The democratic flavor of the week is Hillary's battle experience in Bosnia. You have to take the pastors words in context: have you heard the entire sermon, before and after the comment? It is not radical at all when you do and it even speaks the truth which is what we all need to be doing.
