Green should be private
Green can be profitable. I just support free market green rather than,
government enforced green.
Who wouldn't put solar on their houses if it was so affordable, that in 5 years of paying off system you would never have to deal with being on electrical grid.

Who cares if global warming is real or not!
Its a win win situation for everyone. If its real, than all these things people are trying to do may actually be helping the world, so thats great. If its not real, than hey its still another source of tons of jobs and money for a new industry and people that are into it, so more power to them. Not to mention how terrible would it be if this "fake" global warming actually motivated some people to come up with an feasable alternative enengy. Would it be so terrible to have a fake excuse to come up with a way to prevent giving all our hard earned money to other countries for energy /oil.
Unfortunatley
all that is going to happen is that the corporations finding themselves having to buy "carbon credits" are just going to move their factories, offices and jobs to countries like China where these laws don't apply. Also, the United States has no reason to be dependent on foreign oil right now. There is enough known oil reserves in the U.S. to supply the entire country for another 200 years including projected growth. But as long as they can convince other nations to trade oil etc. for U.S. dollars, they have a way to export U.S. debt and inflation. It's all a sham, very carefully crafted.
It all comes down to coercion vs. freedom
If the government tries to create regulations, taxes, mandates and such that force compliance or force spending on various initiatives, that's when I have a problem with it. As far as people finding ways to make a cleaner, less polluted environment... I'm all for it and try to do my part.
They make more of a joke out of themselves the more they say.
Honestly. Trading in pollutants. What's next? Auto manufacturers trading in how many people their manufacturing 'defects' are allowed to kill on the roads & highways of America?
