Christianity gives me hope for the afterlife. Paul gives hope for America. He has definitely started something. Christians are on the side of life, and as Paul says, without life, there can be no liberty.

Natural Law will always stand. It is the law which was created by God. No matter what happends to our man made Constitutional law,remember that the Constitution is not itself "original", but a recognition of what is Natural Law. The Native Americans believe in such natural law,and as humans we are created with the natural law of independance. There is always hope, as long as we all succeed in recognizing the Natural laws. In time we will know whether to dissolve our contract into the Constitution and to raise a new one up. I think the U.S. Constitution(freedom contract between people and government) is ending already by the choice of the government.

One thing is certain, the times we live in are very unique and the hand writing is on the wall. The coming of the Lord draweth nigh!

God has brought us Ron Paul to show how evil this country has become and how He is just in destroying it whether by famine, inflation, or our dissolution into a north american union. Because He will be able to say Christians, I gave you a righteous man and you chose a liar. Just think of all the evangelicals that amost blindly in a sense voted for huckabee or those who will now vote for mccain. It is appalling and could bring one to tears. Here we let millions of children die every year and just go about our lives, it is so odd that we should think God should spare us.
But then I always hope God will redeem this land from spitting on Him every day for He knows how frail we are.

No matter what opinion one may have about the coming events, if one calls themselves a Chrisitian, they've given up 'religion' for a 'relationship' with the Creator.

If we have received the gift of eternal life we have no cause to fear the end of our mortal lives. If we are indeed the children of God, the Creator of the universe, then His will is our will. And His will is that "...none should perish....".

Praise the Lord! To read these posts I find it a blessing. We all must remember that God always has purpose in everything! Everything! The ONLY reason Ron Paul is still around is......you got it....it is the Lord's purpose. If God had turned His back on us, there would never be such a man like Ron Paul in the race. That is the big clue I believe. We Christians, must be the ones who pray for not only Congressman Ron Paul, but for our sinful nation as it has been stated already and we all must seek God's face daily as our Father, and beg His powerful hand be with us and to go before us as He did so often in the Scriptures. The Lord is near and His help is ever present. He has not given up on us. We will have troubles brethren, but the Lord will be with us as we go through them.

This nation is under judgement, like many other nations in the Bible, and we cannot expect anything different. However, as Christians, when we sin, we can confess, and be forgiven by God. However, when a nation is judged, whether by famine, poverty,etc, it affects the non christians as well as the Christians. During the great Depression, many Christians also lost their homes, jobs, etc. along with the rest. We will not be spared, just because we are Christian. I do believe that God has raised up Ron Paul, because of the remnant of believers. However, there is something that we must do because of the sins of this nation:
Like Eli, the priest in OT times, he sacrificed animals to pay for the sins of his very evil sons. We, in Hebrews, as Christians are called priests, also, and

1. We must confess the sins of our nation, our leaders, our people, and other Christians,
2. and ask God's forgiveness, and then we may receive His mercy, as we do when we know Christ.

If we do not, how can we escape the judgement? But God is merciful to those he loves. Then we can say with the psalmist : Ps. 27:13-14 I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.
and Romans 8:31 If God be for us, who can be against us?

How do you relate to your Pastor, elders, and brethren re. RP?

I've been a believer in the Lord Jesus for 33 years and attend an excellent Bible believing/preaching/doing church. The pastor and church leadership and body is, of course, not perfect, but excellent and obedient and gentle and kind and forthright and stands up for many good things.

However, they really do not get it (and perhaps don't want to 'get it') regarding Ron Paul, the increasing nwo, the financial collapse, clear (not unclear) conspiracies, etc.

I honestly don't possess the patience to be as gentle and wise regarding when and when not to speak about problems that are clearly obvious to me but not to them.

I honestly have significant respect for my church leaders and brothers and sisters in Christ and really do appreciate the wonderful, worshipful (of Christ) atmosphere of the church. But I honestly have significant cognitive dissonance (for lack of a better word) regarding the issues that we Christians here are concerned about. Frankly, it's so hard for me to have the joy of the Lord and to be positive when there is so much really bad things going in the world and our government and those closest to me don't have a clue, and I seem to be relatively unable to give them a clue.

I really am having, not a crisis of faith, but a crisis of community.

Can anyone give me feedback regarding what I've written above, how you're perhaps dealing with the same thing, etc?

We need to keep praying over these two excellent points that they will become increasingly clear...that

1) God has sent Dr. Paul for such a time as this (as American finances continue to collapse, Dr. Paul has increasing credibility in the eyes of Fox Business News and others in the MSM, etc)

which leads to

2) increasing acceptance of Dr. Paul's fiscal answers (bring the troops home and save $1 trillion+ per year and domestically, incrementally stop all unconstitutional spending, dealing with welfare for seniors and the poor way down the road)

In the book of Acts, the Apostle PAUL said "there is a great door of opportunity, and there are many adversaries" This is what appears to be happening these days. There seems to be a seemingly impossible door opening (delegate process; McCain implosion an increasing possibility on many fronts) and of course there are many adversaries (an elite directed sinking of first the McCain Campaign, the emergence of a Bloomberg candidacy concurrent with a deep sixing of Obama and Clinton; Bloomberg is the "perfect" government/corporate ceo type linked with all the financial chicanery of the FED, wall street (to be bailed out for at least the next 6 months), etc. But I digress.

We need to pray that the two points that Davy C "Not Yours To Give" Rockett become increasingly clear, by God's grace, to Christians and to the general American public.....in time!

Even if it becomes very clear to the general populace that "the emperor indeed has no clothes on" (example: Cheney's recent comment of "so" to the reporter's comment that 2/3rds or 80% of the American public are against the war in the middle east), it's a matter of what Americans (maybe we'll have even 95% of all Americans) will do at this point against a lawless, dangerous elite in Washington and above Washington.

I was an administrator for the Democratic party for over 6 years and i am well educated in the nomination process, I left the party to support Dr. Paul so i know what i am talking about.

Our founding fathers set the system up like this to assure that there would not have false or fruadulent support for a candidate thus forcing THE PEOPLE to become involved in the election process and to show actual support for thier candidate.

They wanted to make sure they would protect us from VOTE FRAUD and to make sure that a candidate did not win a beauty contest but instead win an election.

Any candidate and thier supporters can do exactly what we are doing if they chose to do so and i am sure from the reports we have received that Mccain does not have real support or he would have the delegates he needs registered as delegates to vote for him in the up coming convention.

Every state is different and you should be educated on exactly how your delegate process works and you can do this by obtaining a copy of you bylaws in your county and your state if you are told you do not have bylaws obtain a copy of the party rules for your county and state for this is the first step to victory AFTER YOU BECOME A DELEGATE.

I know many of you are new to the election process but don't worry.

I am going to go into some depth of how this all works so read and then read again if you need to.

Did you know that the delegates can actually vote to unbind thier delegates that are bound by state rules? Did you know that delegates can actually overturn and previous vote? Did you know the delegates have control of the entire process?

The MSM is not reporting how to become the nominee in a situation like this so i will tell you to stop getting your info from the MSM.

I know many of you are bummed about Dr. Paul not getting more votes in the states popular vote BUT THAT IS BECAUSE YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW THE ELECTION SYSTEM WORKS : Let me explain to you the reality of how to become the nominee.

First stop looking at who wins each states popular vote for most of these states the vote by the people is really nothing but a straw poll and have no real bearing on who will become the nominee. The only way this matters is if 1 person receives 1191 delegates that are bound by state rules to be commited to that candidate. So if a candiate like Mccain now has 906 delegates now but he doesn't reach 1191 WHICH HE WILL NOT most of the delegates the state awarded him mean nothing and keep in mind in most of the states most of the people that represent the 906 for Mccain are actually Ron Paul supporters. NOW there is no possible way that anyone in the race can achieve this goal now because of the major split in state wins by the candidates.

Normally Convention Delegates do not matter because the convention is not brokered and we have a clear winner because someone has 1191 delegates. BUT THIS YEAR IS DIFFERENT. This will be a brokered convention there is no way around it. Do you see how the ronpaul campaign strategy will work.

When a candidate wins delegates by winning a primary that does not mean there are actual people that won acting as delegates- these are virtual delegates.

What do I mean by virtual delegates: A virtual delegate is just a number - there are no actual people YET that will go and vote for the candidate who won the particular state at the national convention. We call these people convention delegates

The actual delegates are voted on (in most states) at a statewide delegate caucus after the Primary (which is just a giant preference poll) Who can be delegates? Anyone. In closed Primary states they must be registered Republicans, in Open Primary states they can be Republicans, Democrats, Independents.

And we have lots of delegates.

Out of the 2,380 delegates sent to Minneapolis St. Paul in September-
-463 delegates are bound all the way through the convention some of those 463 are Ron Pauls people.

- 565 delegates will be bound through one ballot. That is, they have to follow the results of the state election on the first ballot. After that, if no candidate has a majority of delegates, they are free to vote as they please and Mccain will not receive over 50% on the first ballot.

- 383 will be bound through two ballots then they are free to vote for whom they wish.

- 318 will be bound through three ballots then they are free to vote for whom they wish.

Bottom line is less than 1/2 of the delegates are bound by state party rules. Now do you see how we can win this thing?

So what happens now you ask? You look at the number of delegates that Dr. Paul has that are uncommited to the other candidates and will support him. these delegates are not decided by the popular vote ie: straw poll of the people. Since no one will have enough delegates to skate them through to the nomination we now must look at how many delegates NOT VOTES but delegates Dr. Paul has that are 100% uncommited to the other candidates and will be 100% for Dr. Paul and are free to vote for whom they wish.

This race will go all the way to the convention for there is no other way for someone to receive the nomintaion untill the convention.

The RNC will convene its annual Winter Meeting - and voters will continue to cast their ballots in the nation's primaries and caucuses. Candidates for delegate and alternate delegate to the convention will be elected - and thousands of convention participants and guests will begin planning their trips to Minneapolis-Saint Paul The first week in September 2008

SO WHAT DOES ALL THIS MEAN?

This means that all of the people that registered to become a deligate for Dr. Paul can go to the convention and cast thier vote for Dr. Paul, now think about what i just said : Do you think for one second that all the people that voted for Dr. Paul and filed to become a deligate will not show up at the convention to vote for the good Doctor? Of course they will just like they battled the rain and the sleet and the 15 below zero winter weather to knock on doors and wave signs spreading our message.

Now i assure you that even though we didn't win the popular vote in many states WE DID PICK UP THE MAJORITY OF DELEGATES THAN ALL THE OTHER CANDIDATES IN MOST EVERY STATE EXCEPT A FEW. So yes they won the straw poll and we won what counts which is delegates.

Doesn't Dr. Paul need to WIN 5 states to be on the ballot at the convention for the nomination?

NO THIS IS NOT TRUE for people were just confused on how it actually works.

We only need the majority of delegates from 5 states to be put on the ballot NOT THE POPULAR VOTE OF 5 STATES and i assure you we have picked up the majority of uncommitted delegates for Dr. Paul in more than 5 states.

Do any of you remember seeing posts by myself and many others that said BECOME A DELEGATE? There is still time in most states to become a delegate for the convention and we are picking up more of them every day.

So please STOP! you worry too much because you do not understand how the election system works and you thought we lost didn't you? I assure you we have not!

The fact is Dr. Paul is a genius in his strategy and we are further ahead in delegates than you think and we can win the nomination.

I hope this gives a better understanding of how we have been winning even though most of you thought we were not.

Just had our senatorial convention here in texas. did not go as we had hoped but we are making a start. we rp supporters can never go back to the way things used to be. It seems 90% of Christian voters leave the Spirit at the door when they vote, and might indeed do the same thing in many other areas of their lives (following the letter without the Spirit). Witness the first election of George Bush, when televangelists and other pastors throughout the country were repeating tha line, "for such a time as this." And both my spirit (and I believe the Holy Spirit) and my MIND were screaming--you've got it all wrong!

I was a gold trader in 1999 and that's when and why I found Ron Paul. I wrote and e-mailed his congressional office asking him to run. "Nobody" had ever heard of him. It was his time then and it's still his time. But, more important, it's time for his political/economic philosopies to come to bear in the U.S.

Jesus is the Way the TRUTH and the Life. Those who are open truth will hear the honest, simple tenets that Ron Paul has brought to the nation. I believe he has a good chance, reading and acting upon all the delegate information. But, if he doesn't win the presidency, it doesn't mean God wouldn't have picked him. Faith without works is dead. WE need to keep walking it out and perhaps continually be mentored by RP's teaching.

I have a background in pentecostal type churches but my husband and I felt prompted to back away from the church about 9 years ago, so we have been kind of out of the loop.
I tried contacting a few people I know during this election year
and everyone I have known has turned a blind eye to what is taking place before their very noses. It is almost like they have a veil over their faces.
I'm talking people that where born again, spirit filled people that where well aware of the agenda for our country. Now they refuse to acknowledge it even exists let alone that it is in the end game.
It is as if they have bought the lie and now are blinded to what is taking place.

I remember about 10 years ago..I kept getting in my spirit that the seasons where changing..and it was not the actual seasons but in a spiritual sense.

I do know I have a strong urgency to speak out and wake up as many people as I can about what is taking place and it is not directed at the Christians but the general population. Almost reminds me of when the Jewish people of the new testament refused to acknowledge Jesus was the the messiah so God sent the message to the gentiles.

who are Obama , McCain & Clinton supporters all say the same thing also "God is giving us one last chance to vote for our man/woman". Try telling one of Rev Wrights flock that God wants any one but Obama. Remember the Huckabee fans over Christmas? - take a minute and read the responses by THEM to the Christmas greetings videos. They pretty much say- "if ya wanna make it to Heaven vote for Huck". My God wants me to make personal decisions in my own life to make the world a better place. Voting for Ron Paul will be one of those decisions.

this generation, I mean our times, this era. Not a specific age group.

I say this because I've never seen anything quite like this revolution. When I say revolution I mean a growing awareness to the scams of the elite, the education and information explosion that is swirling around about monetary order in US, and how it controls everything, a revival towards the restoration our liberty and Constitution, as were awakened, because of people like Paul, who dare to tell the truth, standing morally upright before God and his fellow countrymen and not letting the moneychangers order, corrupt them when they go to DC.

I can't think of anytime in the last 30 years where monetary policy, has become such a forefront issue, in the sense of a need for change.
Maybe the need for change wasn't there, because the day of reckoning was still to far away.

I don't think its just pure luck that Paul is running in a time like this, when it appears our money is about to collapse.

From my perspective, God does not become involved in how we elect our leaders. BUT, many good Christians decide to become involved in our political process. Some good Christians may decide to run for Congress or other publics offices. Once they are elected, these good Christians do not take bribes and they work and vote with integrity. Other good Christians may try to get involved other ways in order to make the world a better place for their children. In the end, I believe that God leaves it up to US to do the right thing.

I believe this is our last chance. God called Israel over and over and He finally abandoned them to the Babylonians. He is giving us one last chance to redeem ourselves and save this country. If we don't do it, then we will be abandoned to Babylon and it won't be anybodies fault but our own. God help us and God bless Ron Paul. We Christians need to become delegates!

Dr. Paul up from all of our prayers. I really believe that we MUST confess the sins of our nation and all its leaders and ask for forgiveness, because we certainly don't deserve Dr. Paul, as a nation, and beg God for his mercy. We are the called of God, not just this generation, but perhaps this is God's timing, for restoring the righteous to the land. We all need to pray for Dr. Paul and this nation and leaders, and confess the sins. Eli the preist of God did this for his wicked sons in the Old Testament. And in Hebrews we are called "preists of God".Oh, that God would be merciful to us, and smash the power of the elite, like he did in the time of the Tower of Babylon, which isn't much different than now.
