OK People - Time to Write Congress about the FED!

It looks I'm not alone in my outrage of the new proposals to Congress to grant more power to the Federal Reserve. It's time to take action and write our congressmen/women. I just sent my email to my representative, Jane Harman in CA. I hope we can use this thread to cut and paste our individual letters to our representatives.

===========

Dear Ms. Harman,

I am writing you as my representative in CA district 36 with regards to the new changes that are supposed to give the Federal Reserve more power to regulate the financial markets.

It is rather stunning to see us as a nation headed in that direction after the shameless interference by the Fed to prop up JP Morgan after their buyout of Bear Stearns.

We seem to dread the natural boom and bust cycles of an economy when in fact a recession is a natural economic cycle designed to filter out the bad investments.

Using that as a pretext, we keep giving the Federal Reserve, an independent, unaccountable private corporation the ability to print more money, bail out poor investments without every asking where do they get the money from?

We all know that they have a printing press that simply prints dollars out of thin air thereby causing us, the population, much harm in terms of inflation and rising prices. This has the dire effect of simply transferring the wealth from the poor and the middle class to the wealthy.

Yet, the Congress of the United States, seems to have no problem in continuously granting the Fed more authority to print more money that is not backed by any assets or to further put our country in debt by borrowing money from foreigners. The burden this is placing on future generations of Americans is unfair and immoral.

I trust you will vote No on this bill and I kindly request that you explain to me know how such a transfer of power to a single organization outside the realm of culpability serves the interests of the American people.

H.R. 2755: Federal Reserve Board Abolition Act

http://www.govtrack.us/co...

Have your congressperson co-sponsor this bill that Ron Paul introduced

It helps if thousands and thousands of us do it...

I agree with bradshaw that we must write or call our elected gangsters in D.C. Thousands and thousands of us must. I've written here several times that we each must write or call or both to ask for support and possible co-sponsorship of HR 2755, the bill to abolish the Federal Reserve. A minority founded this nation and if it is to be saved, a minority will save it.

Executive Order 1110

EO 1110 was never repealed and is still valid. If we had started or continued Kennedy's Plan the debt would be nowhere near the current level, and we would have a financial system that would increase currency levels without increasing the debt and its inflationary interest. We would escape the trap of the irreversible transfer of wealth from the debtors to the lenders giving up all our assets to the Federal Reserve.
Perhaps the assassination of JFK was a warning to future presidents who would think to eliminate the U.S. debt by eliminating the Federal Reserve's control over the creation of money. Mr. Kennedy challenged the government of money by challenging the two most successful vehicles that have ever been used to drive up debt - war and the creation of money by a privately owned central bank.

I wrote everyone of mine last night

I tried to keep it simple and to the point so they understood...LOL

I'm really doubt that this will have any effect...

Pretty much every single member of congress has almost no understanding of economics.
I really don't think Jane Harman will understand what you wrote there.

Thus unfortunately, I'm not sure if you're going to get anywhere with this...

Pretty much every member of Congress

have failed to honor their own oath to uphold the constitution, so help me god, and are in need of the boot themselves!
