Where's the "Media Blitz," DaddyWarBucks?

I'd assumed WarBucks was a tongue-in-cheek fellow, with the "Punjab, bring me my checkbook!" sig line. Are you saying he was pretending to be the mysterious billionaire we heard about back in early February? Weird.

Lots of infighting on this group..it's not what I'd call a sign of growth.

I could tell very soon that this DaddyWarBucks guy was off his rocker. He suffers from delusions of granduer and gets off on making people think he's rich and powerful. I think he actually believes it too, due to mental illness. He's clearly mentally ill. The fact that he could lead so many people here out on a limb, I don't understand.

He actually posted some pictures of himself on here. In one of them he's raising his arms to the sky, with the caption of saying it's him asking God to bless him in creating the Ron Paul Freedom Library or something like that. He's CRAZY, people. Anyone have a link to that pic? Even after seeing the pic, people here STILL thought he was for real, which I can't imagine. There are some extremely gullible people.

If daddywarbucks was going to spend a lot of money why was it not spent before the January, February, & March primary's, and mass meetings??

If its only Ron Paul and Mccain left... why isnt Ron Paul calling Mccain out as often and as loud as possible? Is there a strategy? Ron Paul could demolish Mccain on any and all issues. Easily. I would like to see a more agressive RP. Donate on April 1st. Lets see where how much we can raise and lets jumps start this campaign.

I think that if someone was a billionaire ron paul supporter putting together some kind of major media blitz they certainly would not be spending so much time on the dailypaul, as daddywarbucks obviously seems to do. He posts on many threads. I dare say that there is no way he would have the time to coordinate something so grandiose as a major media blitz.

Why this person seems to get off on fooling the dailypaulers is beyond my comprehension. What a big fat waste of time on his part and I am disappointed someone would perpetrate something like this on the dailypaul community so as to take attention away from things that carried more weight and significance.

Given the tremendous grassroots support to this campaign, I'd hoped for more interaction with the "professional" staff at the Ron Paul campaign.
I've said this before about political staff (with Bob Dole, most recently) and I'll say it again, "WHERE do they dig up these people, as, obviously, they are brain dead?"

I have the answer as to why it hasnt materialized! At the end of every post Daddy keeps calling for "Punjab...bring me my checkbook!"

I am seriously concerned for Punjab...apparently he has gone missing with the checkbook! Maybe he will be on the next episode of "Without A Trace"

just some real indications the money is being well spent. The best things I've seen come out this campaign were HIGH TIDE and the MONEY BOMB concept, and volunters, not paid staff came up with those.

I've been involved with political campaigning for over 40 years, so don't ask me to clean my shoes over some nonsense about "detailed accounting".

Yeah - the whole thing was pretty ridiculous. Any of us can come on here and say the same thing - that doesn't make it true. If more people put their money (time, etc.) where there mouths are, a lot more could have gotten accomplished.

Here's a template for future "benefactors":

I get so irritated when I see people like me who are losing our a$$es trying to keep the campaign moving all over the sign waves and such, then read this kind of crap. We could probably win a popular vote in Idaho with a $10K ad campaign, but I am literally wrapping coins later today to make the house payment... maybe I will come across some silver ones ;) Still, the 1/4 page in the local paper that I did is probably the only ad I will be able to buy.
All the talk about starting our own media and starting our own communities and such is very frustrating when so much could be done with a few newspaper and radio ads.
It must be rough to be so rich that you just can't figure out ways to spend money that would help a cause you care so deeply about. I'll say a little prayer for them to find comfort in such troubling circumstances.
