But, correct me if I'm wrong, the delegates haven't even voted yet and Ron Paul is still a candidate. How is this legally possible? What about raising money on RP's behalf??
The following is from the London based Internation Herald Tribune, iht.com dated March 31, 2008.
"On April 1, the McCain campaign will set up a joint fund-raising committee with the national party, McCain Victory 2008, which will have the dual tasks of raising money for McCain and the party, which is now working on his behalf."

I got an email from John McStain asking for money, and the end of the email said it was paid for by the RNC. My question was and is: shouldn't RP get the same deal, since the two are in exactly the same official status at this point? That JM has more delegates doesn't make him the nominee *yet*, so for the RNC to give him preferential treatment over RP seems to me improper.

I've recieved about 10 letters from the GOP
None mentioned McCain--they said "our republican nominee will need help against the democrats."
I sent a slim jim back with each one. I assume most people (other than RP supporters) just throw these away, but I bet it's a big joke around their office how much Ron Paul literature they get.

A talk with the extremely fast talking guy who called me about it. He was asking for my dad, who is in Australia, so I just said that I was him (my dad wouldn't care anyways). I gave a pretty big lecture to this guy. I told him about the IRS, the Fed, the CFR, McCain being a war criminal, the delegate process, and the war. I probably mentioned a few other things, but I can't remember them now. Some memorable lines of his:
"The democrats are building up 500,000,000 dollars for the general election, and we need to match that."
"The people chose McCain, and the delegates are all required BY LAW to vote for him."
"..rally behind the party's nominee John McCain so that we can stop the liberal democrats."

But, I did not let them talk long enough to find out why he wanted the money specifically.
I told him that I gave at the convention, which I did, which bugged me because i know how down on Paul they are. Then I told him that I do not like the direction they are going and that I want them to go far more conservative than they have been.

If enough of us did this it would drain their treasury and weaken their internal structure. They would possibly be forced to cut back on a number of paid employees and provide Mc Cain with less money. Let's see, 800,000 plus of us, times an additional, say $1.50 would be $1.2 million dollars per mail out. They usually like to send out two of those letters per month. By convention time they could be a lot weaker than they are today. I wouldn't use the RP stamp or place a return address on the envelope. They count on your check address and the accompaning form that they want you to return for your name and address. If you don't provide that they will continue to send these out twice a month.

why target the symptoms when you can target the cure.We know that the GOP is not essentially corrupt ( but very close ) so why don't we focus on targetting the GOP offices with a full scale assault so they realize that the true republicans still have a voice as Ron Paul would have it.

GOP is this a Joke? it reminds me of the joke big john played on his crew mates when he was a pilot, seems he flooded his jet engine intentionally to get a big flame out of the back when it starts. Well this joke ended up killing 167 of his crew members. He was transfered to a different carrier for the joke.Now you want me to give you money for him? THATS A JOKE!

Ads are not focused, and sometimes put long text messages on the screen while a voiceover delivers a different message -- making it hard to focus on either. Not effective.

First, use a scanner to copy the front of McCain's postage-paid envelope, oriented so that you can cut-and-fold a new envelope from the copy. Run off as many copies as you want -- each one will cost McCain money for the postage.
