That we've all left the revolution. I thought that taking over our Senatorial conventions and getting elected to be delegates to the state convention was actually still carrying the revolution forward - Guess I was wrong. Thanks for clearing that up. I also thought that getting about 20 or so very pro RP resolutions passed on to state to be inserted in the TXGOP platform was moving the revolution forward too. My mistake. I guess I won't apply to be considered for the national convention now since It has been made clear to me that that would not be moving the revolution forward. I should probably resign from my precinct Chairmanship and the Travis County GOP Executive Committee too.

This was destined to happen after McCain won Super Tuesday. Regardless of what future political strategy works or doesn't work...much of the Money Bomb momentum was naturally lost on Super Tuesday.

Hang in there. There's too much anger and frustration in the movement now, and if there's one thing that will do lasting PR damage, it's that.

The campaign has changed...but Ron Paul is still on the march and he's doing well.

I understand IZZY4RON's disappointment. I don't agree with his statement or demeanor, but I understand none the less. I donated and talked my father into donating, who could care less by the way. He believes all politicians are crooks, save none. I've spent hours upon hours discussing Ron Paul with him, but he just isn't buying what I'm selling. Not many americans are. Good ol' dad simply donated because I asked him to donate. He thinks I'm wasting my time, but I keep preaching the facts. He's gonna' break before I give up, I can guarantee you that. I personally believe many people are over Ron Paul and have either given up or are moving on to do things in their own way. $30 and I'm maxed-out, which I thought I had already accomplished until I did my taxes. Oops! I donated a bill and got dad for $50. For me, my donation today was a symbolic gesture and not a misguided attempt to keep RP in the race for the nomination. I want my spokesmen to have the cash when he wishes to speak somewhere. On that note, I believe we did okay today! Sure, we used to raise that amount in an hour on a good day, but it should be expected. RP is coming to my state in May. We're preparing for his arrival and had a meeting tonight with the state coordinator. Anyone interested can see RP on May 17th in Louisville KY. I'm working on a website to post general info about the event which I will post on the DP once we have a venue chosen. A venue hasn't been decided yet, which is what we were doing at the meeting tonight, as well as trying to guess-timate how many people will show. We're guessing 3-5 thousand. There's an NRA convention the same weekend where 50,000+ 2nd amendment lovers will be attending. If they show up then we will be waaaaaaay over our limit which is why it's hard to pick the proper venue. We don't want to turn anyone away, but you can imagine the logistics and legal/safety issues involved. Kepp your chin up IZZY! RP is the primer for this cannon! The big BOOM has yet to happen. My District convention is this weekend and it's gonna' be a hoot! We have the old guard scared to death! It's hilarious and pathetic at the same time, really. So few people care enough to get off of their gludius-maximus to do anything.....wether it's the wrong or right thing. IMO, laziness and ignorance are our true enemies. Well, bed-time! Another day will come and another opportunity to step toward freedom. Please go easy on the wounded supporters. I believe we all have had similar feelings of anger and frustration. the moment that RP realized there was no hope to win the republican nomination, and decided to stay a Republican, this campaign ended. We are now in the post campaign stage, and working on other projects. Heck, Ron is still sitting on some millions of dollars last I heard.

We have given him millions of dollars, he rules out a 3rd party run, and now we're supposed to give him more in a dead end effort to get into the Republicrat convention?! Send your money to your local John Birch chapter instead, or another Ron Paulesque candidate in your local area.

unfortunately to read the whole thread but reading your post izzy4ron, I have to say.. what a superficial approach you take assessing who is a supporter and who is not.

First of all the all caps post is annoying to read... then to say that if you don't donate you are not a real supporter... total crap. People have lives, and lots of expenses which are going up daily due to ongoing rising living costs.

Hope you are not invited to one day have to feed all the true supporters out there. My bet is that most are maxed out and hanging in being careful to not get into any financial trouble but are still doing the foot work, involved in meet ups.

Can you at least change the title of your post? If you can't I have to conclude that you confuse money with being a true supporter. The Revolution comes from within, not only from the wallet.

Don't you worry we are there and Dr. Paul knows it. We might not always send our money on money bomb days.

We all have lifes and are fighting for the revolution. (even Jeese said dont start the Revolution without me). Its more than just Money. (I spend 2 hours at Mccain raley , holding 4x8 signs from our group) ( Ive traveled to Arkansas to help a fiend Campaign for Paul)(Every state between at every stop we passed out Ron Paul) (my cars have Ron Paul every where)(I meet atleast 1 new person everyday and spread the word)
I have Donated and spend Thousands of dollars on my own, (which is what Ron Paul said, its up to you).
Dont judge or try to make people feal bad. We are here. Still at grassroots. Meet up groups are still here. The revolution is still here.
Except it ,help it, But dont try to make us feel bad or lower what we are doing. Raise the vibration to love (as in Revolution).

I got layed off six weeks ago and have been using what money I do have to stock up on food, purchase a few silver eagles and working to finish my windmill. I wish I could give. This economy has hit home here.

I have overspent with my last supply purchase. I guess they will have to send me $ back. Plus I gave $600 more to a fellow supporter to donate for me and three pledges I gathered (two of which never paid me). And I gave to the Congressional campaign. I waved signs with my meetup group nearly daily before my primary. I was a meetup group assistant. I was a precinct leader and called every Republican in my precinct (I am a very bad salesperson and probably lost some supporters there). I am registered and waiting to be voted in as a delegate.
So there.
That is the first time I have revealed my total support for Ron Paul. If my family knew I did all of this they would really think I am crazy. None of them even talk to me anymore for fear of hearing some more truth.

I'm sure that everyone is doing the best they can. I read below about how people are using their funds to become delegates amongst other things. I for one had to save up what I could to donate today ($98.22) (then the fuel pump went out in my vehicle) and I have donated what little I can to other candidates that are trying to further the cause. I believe there are many in this for the long haul and are spreading themselves very thin in doing so. My household has given up plenty and will continue to do so.

On with the r3VOLution !

RP isn't exactly campaigning to hard right now and he has ruled out a third party run. Many do not feel donating to the campaign makes much sense. Some want to save up to go to the march. Others donate elswhere or just do not have the dough. I am sure if RP came out to say he is going to run third party there would be a big change in donations.

This wasn't even an organized Bomb. Don't sweat it.

Most of us have giving till it hurt and then some. I don't know you and from your constant baggering on this Blog, I really wouldn't want to. Not everyone that supports RP visits this Site. Also, now that most of the States have had Caucus and Primeries those of us that have Maxed Out will be able to donate again. Ron Paul still has plenty of money in his Campaign Fund and you need to get off your high horse and start posting possitive things. Don't bother replying to this, I could care less about your opinion.

People who are saving up to go to the Freedom Rally aren't foot soldiers in this revolution? No cash for me to give for Ron Paul right now. I had to scrape to get to the Freedom Rally on the 15th. We are busy setting up our local program of working the message. The revolution is very alive.

Why isn't the ticker moving on the very front of the widget.

All the money in the world wont mean squat without delegates on the ground- thats the proof you need to see massive support. Go tell the twenty thousand + pricinct leaders that they dont support Ron Paul. Lets say we raised 7 million in one day. The MSM would give just enough ink to that story to drive McCains people (who are sure they wont even need to vote at this point) to go become delegates or even worse- to actually vote. This could be the biggest missed pop-fly in political history- no McCain votes because everyone thought enough people would wander to the convention on his behalf to to vote a "no-brainer" while the Paul base was far from extinguished.
