The Hope for America Tour is coming to Pennsylvania!
Ron Paul is scheduled to make four stops in his home state over the next week and a half. This Thursday, April 3rd, Dr. Paul will visit his family in Pittsburgh and host a Freedom Rally at Indiana University of Pennsylvania at 2:00 PM ET and the University of Pittsburgh at 9:00 PM ET.
Next week, Dr. Paul will return on Friday, April 11th to speak at his Alma mater, Gettysburg College at 11:30 AM ET and host a Freedom Rally at Penn State University at 5:30 PM ET.
Please bring your friends and family and join us as we celebrate freedom, peace, and prosperity. The events are free and open to the public, but we ask that you RSVP at the links below. Note: An RSVP does not reserve you a seat, so please arrive early.

Just returned from the IUP Rally
Got an autograph, and a great stump speech. Met alot of nice people from the regional meetups (The members are fairly spreadout, so we meet more often on line.) Some good questions, one about conscription, and a young Iranian American man asked about Iran. RP seems to be ready to call the media out for their colusion with government. He mentioned that several times.
The auditorium was about filled - I'd say between 400 - 450 people showed up, which was good for 2 PM, with less than a weeks notice. Probably 3/4 were students or locals that were intereseted, but were not the hard core active supporters, which I thought was a good sign. It was an energetic crowd, but not raucous - but that is IUP, Rural Pennsylvanians are naturally subdued, and skeptical of too much enthusiam.

Thanks for the report Ironman! I am glad to hear also that most of the crowd were not hard core RP supporters...this is not a time to simply be "preaching to the choir!" I see that as encouraging! I hope the later engagement went well also...any word?

As I have been promoting the Rally, it turns out there are alot of people interested. I had a great conversation with an Iranian guy, who claimed Ron Paul was right on about Iran. That if the US would back off, the Iranian people would throw out the Mullahs, but when we are agressive it unites everyone, and the bad guys get power.
Of course I got alot of - I'm tired of hearing about the presidential election - This is april ? And these people haven't been paying any attention. Man there are alot of people who are just willing to let other people decide for them.

Its all good, he's all but one man who still holds a very busy schedule. He only came to my home state of WA once in the past... Well ever. Devistating? Maybe. Suck it up, we'll be okay. Hearing his word, and knowing he is going anywhere publicly is great!

Nice try joeoliveoil, you've only been a member here for approximately 4 months. So what were you doing in August, September, October, November after the donations in August of last year? You guys are somthing else. Maybe this generation dosnt know what work is. CONGRESSMAN Ron Paul has a job besides making speeches and reading junk email responses such as yours. Nobody is playing a violin to your tune. Suck it up and get out and do somthing for the movement. Dr.Paul is at it day in and day out. How about you. There is alot of work to do for Ron Paul. We are still in this thing. Much work to be done in the trenches. So put on your game face and let's do this thing. He was putting together mall crawls around the time of the PA rally before the primaries, before alot of us knew about Ron Paul. He's been to all our meetups and is an assistant organizer.
It does suck Ron Paul isn't coming back to Philly, where people like Joe got more than 5,000 people to listen to him speak back in November. Hold your tongue about people you don't know.
If the dedicated are criticizing that Ron Paul isnt visiting....
First I respect those who do work for the cause. Tho Expecting somthing in return for the work is questionable. If the so called dedicated are criticizing that they are not able to get Dr.Paul more then once, I question there motives. There are many more that havn't seen or heard Ron Paul even once. To belly ache about him not coming to visit a location more then once is mind baffling. It sounds like to me since you do not know me or what I have done for more then twenty years towards freedom is talking out of both sides of your mouth to tell me to hold my tongue. Anytime I see a comment questioning Ron Pauls lack of interest on any topic towards freedom I question the mind set of that individual. While I envy those who have heard or seen Ron Paul in person I will continue to go through the trenches to train and educate prospective delegates and political leaders as I have done for some time now. I enjoy and continue to fight for freedom without public notice or praise. And I have yet to see or hear Ron Paul in person. To see my children and their children smile because of freedoms we have is enough reward for me. I've spent enough time on this entry. Have a good day and hopefully a free future.
