While I do believe education
While I do believe education is a good thing, it should not be a requirement to make a decent living and have a decent cost of living.
I am so sick of that notion. In fact, while I think science and math are important as well as other subjects. .
The whole system sets you up to be a slave and make you have to play by everyone else's rules that you had nothing to do with making up!!!
There are different types of education
There is the kind about math and science and the more important kind is how to THINK and understand. The second type is what takes care of you in the long term. The first type is just tools for different situations. Unfortunately, government schools only focus on the first type and they do a poor job of that too.
There is but one area in
which one will need to seek formal education for, Applied Sciences. The doctors, physicists, chemists, nurses, physical, occupational therapists, for example, will need to go to formal education. Others can be learned without much formal education. You can study from home at your own pace, you can apply for a "challenge exam" if you need to take an exam to get a license to practice, i.e. Law. Or if you are an MD in another country, you can try applying for Physician Assistant license here by "challenging" through examination. When I left my country before I became an American citizen, I never heard of two-year college which enable you to qualify to be an RN back then. Only here I found this out. It took me 4 years to qualify for RN licensure. What a surprise this was to me. Tell me the quality of health care here because of this. Frustrating is an understatement. Sometimes your mind gets numb because their formal education is NOT enough.
I mentioned this because there is always the need for formal education in a wide variety of disciplines. The basic foundation in education, however, must start from home. And there can never a substitute for this.

Thank them for their comments and questions for the FED chairman,
Remind them that the FED is not a government agency, it is a privately owned bank that is RESPONSIBLE for causing the current economic disaster by printing more money, which CAUSED the inflation and the resulting housing bubble. Tell them to oppose the president's plan to give more control to the FED.
I know someone else could say it better----so if you have some better talking points---please post them!

If we educated everyone about the real role the Fed plays in the downfall of our economy, the problem would be fixed because everyone would know that an illegal institution has stolen trillions from us.
