I'm The 12 yr old Ron Paul Supporter
Hi, I'm Jamie! My dad posted about me on Monday and I'm using his account because we couldn't figure out how to make me one. I'm a 12 yr old Ron Paul supporter and I've tried my best to help him with his campaign. I've even handed out Ron Paul slim jims in school!
I have a website that talks about the Constitution, School, Government, Ron Paul, ect. THANKS to all who took a few minutes to look at it! My website is:
My dad has taught me a lot and so I try to help other people understand this. He's taught me about striking and I tell other people about it. I think it's fun! I'm starting a petition against my science teacher. She doesn't teach us and she's a TYRANT!!! For those who went to my website Monday, you still might want to visit because it's been updated and a new page has been added.
Please take a few minuted to look at my website and if you like it, please forward it to your friends/family! Thanks!
P.S. I want to get as much Kid traffic to my website as possible so ANY suggestions would help. You can post here or go to the Contact Us link on my website. Thanks again!

I do think learning about other countries is important though

Learning about the constitution is important, but knowledge is power! You want to know as much as you can about everything.
Especially how to think critically.
Good to see young people who
Good to see young people who already understand. Very nice that you take action. Good luck and remember the young people are our future.
I am glad that you are not
being overly corrupted being in your government school, but to those adults on here, and at the risk of getting a lot of flak for this, should any of us be putting our children in the government school? After all, we are all trying to educate ourselves about freedom, aren't we? How many of us will go only to government sponsored websites to get our education, with the exception for whatever bill is being passed, etc. Do we get our information from President Bush, on the war, the Constitution, etc. ???
No, of course not. And yet are there any people here, who are sending their children to be educated by this government? Do you really think that they do not have an agenda to make us all sheeple? Isn't education at the heart of this revolution? I believe that the government public education is why we have strayed so far from the Constitution. We have been taught this way by this government. I am not trying to be judgmental, people, as I too was public educated, and my children for a short while were in that system also. And I for one, know the sacrifice it is to homeschool, or private school our children. We lived in poverty for many years, (and going that way again) in order to homeschool our children. If we are serious about this revolution, we must take our children out of the government schools. Please realize there is a reason for public education in this nation, and it is NOT education of academics. Sure, some teachers certainly are concerned for this, and probably are very good teachers who care for their students in this public system, but the real purpose of it is not for their academic superiority, it is to make good little obedient citizens who swallow the government's lies. Check out the reasons for the public school system, it is easy to find on the net. Here is only one such site.

Jamie,
I visited your website but couldn’t log on. For the readers here, there was an issue concerning restroom visits during class. I found Jamie’s site while doing some research on restroom rules for high schools here in America. Jamie’s web site appeared under the Google search.
I am a retired teacher due to health. I have a web site for you.
http://www.childadvocate....
This site is about students' right to a bathroom.
This site gives a wealth of information on why it is wrong to hold your urine. Just because a student doesn't wet his pants doesn't mean that their isn't long term damage to the bladder from holding it too long.
I don't believe in telling a student no if they ask. Sure, if they misbehave, that should be dealt with. But I found as a teacher, that if students have a chance to go to the restroom often enough and there is plenty of time to go without the student getting into any trouble or made to feel embarrassed for having gone to the restroom during the break, the bathroom requests went WAY DOWN.
When the occasional need arose for a student to leave class, there was no problem. I always told them they really weren’t getting permission, they were letting me know that they were leaving the room.
Elementary schools tend to not have often enough restroom breaks. High schools usually have one every hour but there isn't enough time to use the restroom if your next class is very far away. How a teacher can say there is plenty of time for all the students to go to the restroom when there is only three minutes passing time and the students also have to travel some distance from room to room is beyond me. In some high schools, most or all the restrooms are locked except at lunch.
I had a rule that if an extreme emergency, doesn't matter with bodily fluid is about to be expelled, pee, feces, vomit, blood etc., the student is to get up and go and go directly to the restroom and I will send a student to check on him and give me a report if the student is OK and take it from there. I also them that should their clothes be soiled or they just aren’t iin presentable condition after dealing with the emergency to go straight to the office and not come back to the room in a condition that would be embarrassing to them.
The real issue those is not about wet pants. I get my swim suit soaking wet every time I get into the water. I’ve been known to pee in the water before, especially a lake or river. The real issue is giving respect to a student, not deliberately embarrass or humiliate a child just because you happen to be an adult. You the adult may win and get submission from the student out of fear of what will happen to the student if he doesn’g comply. But you the teacher will never get their his respect. We treat our prisoners better than that. It is a disgrace for America to have schools like this.
All those silly rules are just that. Yet, I have seen and heard teachers say that if students can't hold it they will have to pee their pants or vomit in a trashcan. And since I live in a small town where the high school is just across the road from the elementary school, I know of high school students in the past who have wet their pants not just in middle school, but in high school, as in 17 year olds. Seniors who messed in their pants because they had a stomach virus and had a bad case of the runs and in two instances, there was a note from the parent or the office that should have been honored, but wasn’t. I knew of a 10th grade boy with severe diabetes and frequent urination wet his pants in class, again because he was denied a restroom pass. Many girls have had to go home because they couldn't leave class to take care of the menstrual periods. This high school has made a turn around in the last two years. It is not like that now. But it was that way for several years. There is absolutely no excuse for making an 18 year old have an accident in class just because if they leave class they might not get to graduate. I am referring to a situation where if the student just gets up and walks out the consequences are so grave that graduation, scholarships to college etc would be on the line if the student just walked out of class. It is one of the most absurd choices to give to an 18 year old who is supposed to be a free American citizen. Restroom visits are a right, not a priveledge.
So many teachers have the belief that students have to respect the teachers, but the tachers don't have to respect the students. I firmly believe that teachers should respect the students first and then GAIN the respect of their students.
Sometimes some teachers were upset with me over students rights. And they would be aggravated that they were handing out detentions like hot cakes and the kids weren't behaving. I was handing out none and I had the attention of the class.
I taught sixth grade. I loved it. I had to quit teaching because I had an accident and hurt my back. But I live in a small town where I see all my former students. It is a joy to have both men and women come and give me bear hugs. I am a hugger. I gave hugs at the end of the day to all the students who wanted one. There is nothing wrong with that as long as it is done correctly and always in public view, not behind a door or something ike that.
I would have loved to been your teacher. You could have taught me a lot about the Internet and stuff. I could have given you the additional direction and confidence to succeed.
Give you dad a big hug and if it is OK in your family a big kiss on the check. You have a great guy for a dad. I wish all boys had a dad that they are close to like you are. I hope and pray you can remain that close as you grow up.
Good luck. If you have any questions about what all I have learned, let me know. That is how I found this site. I was searching for restroom rules in high school. You see I am trying to help some other people in our country see schools change their rules concerning the restroom needs of their students.
Yep, I am a crusader myself. I'm not quite old enough to be your grandfather, but close. I really miss teaching school and especially watching young people and helping them grow into adults.
You are welcome to print any or all of my comments on your site if you wish.

Not all police are evil. Your site lists it as such, and I think you should highly consider changing that. There are some bad cops and some very good cops. Generalizing is a form of ignorance, so don't go down that path.
The overall idea is awesome though, keep it up.
Hey!
I'm pretty impressed actually at the forefront.
A 12 year old, thats great stuff. A father that spends time with ya, great stuff. Yep!
Now the websight: would take a little time to go over it. Looks interesting.

Oh, 53 year ole male here.

The prob. isint the
The prob. isint the teachers it is the State School systems and the Federal Gov't involvement in them.
I just find it dumb to try and argue with a teacher about what time you go to the bathroom.
You can be as free as u want, but it seems like this kid is challenging any authority out there, is that any advice for a young person.
Your website sounds like you
Your website sounds like you have no respect for any authority.
I mean your teacher has the right to run the class as he/she sees fit, if she doesn’t want you to go to the bathroom, you don’t go. If you don’t like it, your Dad can home school you, if not you should do as you are told.
I think this little effort to raise a coo amongst kids is laughable.....
If you do not like how something is done go through the proper channels to get it changed.
I also think your statements about police being evil are also laughable!
Ron Paul is not an anarchist, Police are responsible for our safety- next time your family is being attacked when you least expect it, I hope you don’t think about calling those evil police to help you.
You say you want to learn more about the Constitution, maybe you should understand that all powers not given to the Federal Government are reserved by states- giving municipalities the right to make what ever laws they want, as long as they don’t violate your rights-they can make them, such as those skateboarding videos from your site-more than likely there was a local law saying you can not skate there, so your wrong.
Please people do not egg this young person on.
Are you serious?
You're actually haranguing this kid over whether he should be obedient to the state, and you pretend to be a Ron Paul supporter?
-jcr
Hello?
Your words are harsh and sound like they are from the establishment. No authority should be given respect with out first earning it. In addition, no authority should be assumed unless earned either. It doesn't sound like the teacher has earned it, especially with her policy on the bathroom. No child should be denied the bathroom. Holding it leads to bladder infections and embarrassingly wet pants. What proper channels would you suggest that she take? What if she has already exhausted them? Do you think they would really listen to some students about a teacher? I don't think her thoughts on the police being evil are laughable. Perhaps she needs to be more focused and realized that not all of them are, but it doesn't negate the fact that some are. Cops are human as well and just as capable of doing horrendous things. She is right to not trust them. Police are not responsible for our safety, we are. You can't expect a police man to be at your house the minute a criminal shows up, they can't do it and aren't supposed to be. Perhaps you should read the Constitution again as the powers not expressed for the federal government and the states are reserved for the people. They have no authority to infringe upon our rights are make laws hindering our life and liberty. Skate boarding is not a crime, it is a prusuit that harms none, other than the skateboarder if he falls. They don't have a right to pass a law criminalizing it. Do your research and get yourself re-educated.

Sorry, but you are learning nothing
After all those years of school, even with a college degree in electrical engineering, you will not know math, you will not know even how electricity flows.
This IS because they are misleading you, poisoning you with lead, mercury, magnesium, and aluminum. The last thing they want is free thinking, so they give you a few "modes" or "role models" for you to follow a rule set.
"Walls are stronger than the men that defend them."

I am sorry but.....
As a High School student, I am offended by your websites notion that school is just an evil way for the Government to brainwash us.
I know at my school my teachers are very open about their beliefs. One is a card carrying Libertarian, one led George Bush's campaign locally, one is a raging liberal, among others. They teach us different views and that is what is great.
I think as free thinkers we need to get away from accusing everyone else that we don't agree with as fascists and commies, they are just different. We can not force our views with name calling. We will win with this movement in the long run because we are better people; we need to start acting like it.
I learn a lot at my school, I wish by local school board had more control, but that is what we need to fix.
I don't understand
I don't really consider calling some one a fascist or communist as name calling. It is a description of the beliefs they support. There are many fascists and communists who want to be fascists and communists. That is exactly what I have worked so hard with during this last year. To get people to really understand, if they don't, exactly what they are supporting, what it is called, where it falls in history, what it leads to and if they really intend to support that political stance. Some do know exactly what they are doing and think we should be fascist.

it's called compulsory education.
i tell you this and then you repeat it back to me. conversation over.
must be rull nice having a great high school.
many are not so fortunate. i speak as one.
try visiting a montessori school some time.
see EXACTLY why our government makes it so hard to open one up.
and why there is only one montessori high school in all of texas.
Montessori is wonderful ( but expensive)
I moved my daughter from public school in 4th grade --they wanted me to allow special-ed testing and I refused after many meetings with them and evidence to support my position. I put her into a Montessori school for a few years and it was wonderful! She learned to think for herself, plant seeds, grow plants and they even had a lovely large scale zen garden.
Hey Jaime!
Cool effort and nice website.
I'm glad to see you are so taken with Dr. Paul and his message especially at such a young age. When I was your age, I didn't think much about this stuff, and honestly, I wouldn't get too overworked about it if I were you. Don't forget to just be a kid because that just goes by too fast!!
I'm afraid most of the stuff that Dr. Paul talks about isn't for kids as I can't see how they can possibly appreciate all he has to offer at such a ripe young age without the experience needed to go along with it.
Kids have a tendency of repeating what their parents tell them and in your case, it's not all that bad. But, I think you would appreciate all this a little better once you go through a few of life's experiences. It's a good thing to fall back on and in that sense it's good to know. Stuff like the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. It's one thing to recite this stuff and it's another to live it.
Have fun!
Jaime!
I cant even begin to tell you how proud I am of you! You are awesome, wonderful! My baby is 26 now and she is a delegate for Ron Paul and I always taught her self confidence and to question everything! Wow! You have totally blown me away with your website and thoughts! Keep it up! Be your own person and make a difference in this world! You give me such hope! You are the "love" part in Relovultion!

I should teach you how to day trade.
Then we can get you a home school teacher.
OR
We could hire a driver to take you to school.
Then you could offer all the teachers at your school low interest mortgages on their homes.
That should handle any issues they have with you.

Some thoughts about dealing with police officers...
I think if you want to go the long haul Jamie, you might want to do a section on how to deal with police officers.
Truth is they do deal with a lot of turkies who are just plain disrespectful and ornery.
So since you're so young, I think you'd have more juice if you countered your portrayal of the growing minority of abusive and power tripping law enforcement with a whole list of level headed commonsense responses.
Your growing legion of followers can use these phrases to keep it on the upside.
THEN when a police officer clearly oversteps his bounds you could also coach readers on responses that will work in the event that charges are brought against them.
Regarding that video of the kids at the Baltimore Inner Harbor --
I lived in Baltimore for ten years and if you want to survive you need to learn how to interact with the PO LEECE. Like "Yes officer, what seems to be the problem?" Not, "Dude yur freakin' nuts!" Alot of these folks are on steroids just lookin' for soft targets, like un-armed kids to get their adrenalin going. They also deal with some of the most violent neighborhoods in the country.

"RON PAUL SUPPORTER SINCE 1997"
DOWN WITH THE SCIENCE TEACHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No just kidding.....Your message made me smile too.
I remember a few teachers in my young life that were horrible. I think you have the good things your father taught you to help you a long way through life.
School is not easy sometimes when you are very smart and the stuff they are teaching does not seem fun or challenging.
Just try to be respectful, and know that your father will give you the right advice when dealing with this tyrannical science teacher.
Sometimes you have to find a way to get on the teacher's good side(if there is one). Sometimes you have to work within the system, and sometimes you have to stand up against it, if it is wrong.
Just be yourself, listen to your heart and your father, and you will be OK
Just know that there are many people behind you, that support you, and will call her boss if the teacher does anything that she shouldn't.
Good Luck.......
Jamie
I posted the other day that your menu should not say "Police are EVIL." I see it still says that. I cannot justify sending other children to the site with that so prominent. There is evil everywhere, even on this site and in my own household. Police are not evil, but certain police are and they are heavily represented on YouTube at this time because the point is trying to be made that we are becoming a police state. The more we disrespect authority, the worse the authority will respond to people in general. You need to go find and appreciate the really good policemen out there.
I am glad you are involved with Ron Paul. I think it is important for children to have their own minds concerning issues and hear all sides. I also think it is important for parents, like your excellent parents, to teach their children.
Spam.. but worthy none-the-less. I'll give you some clicks.
Spam.. but worthy none-the-less. I'll give you some clicks.
I laughed that your Science teacher doesn't teach you anything. I would bet that it's not her fault. She has federal guidelines she must follow if she wishes to collect a paycheck.
Don't worry though. I didn't learn much of anything in school when I was your age. In fact, I would bet that I have forgotten most of it.
I've received more of an education about Government, Economics and World affairs in the last year by being a part of the Ron Paul campaign than I ever did in 14 years of going to school.
Most of the stuff they teach you is worthless when you're working in the real world.
P.S. Whenever the cursive lesson comes up, refuse to learn it or participate due to the fact that cursive is obsolete, messy and unprofessional. I absolutely hate the fact that kids are required to learn and use cursive. I know it's stupid.. but it's on of those pet peeves that lasted throughout the years.
Spam????
Are you saying this original post is spam?? This is a child who supports Ron Paul. We are a site who openly discusses anything Ron Paul. I don't see how his/her post is spam at all. Spam is a solicitation that was not requested or information that is not requested. This child is as welcome here as any other Ron Paul person and his/her website is all about Ron Paul. I don't get your post.
FYI (Adam1)
They start training much earlier these days! First and second graders implement cursive. Hope you haven't insulted one of our younger patriotic Ron Paul activists!
Nice Job Jamie!

Way to go Jamie
Jamie, I have a 15 year old son and I teach him about a lot of stuff that you have included on your website. I agree that school doesn't really teach you anything worth knowing. I have to tell my son that most of what is now taught in school isn't true. He gets it and challenges his teachers with it.
Good work. I'm going to share this site with my son when he gets home.
Welcome.
You have a great head start on the truth kiddo. Keep strong in your reslove. And be the change you want to see in the world. I along with many here, I'm assuming (yeah I know) would like to have had support of knowledgable peers when we were being mislead and brainwashed as youths by a corrupt education system.
We can all say what needs to be done, but who here lead by example today?
Jamie you rock! I love the way you call your teach a tyrant LOL
Keep up the great work and welcome to the Cause...

Notes on Slander and Libel
Legally, it's okay to call someone a tyrant if they aren't one and everybody knows it. And it's okay to call someone a tyrant if they really are one.
The problem comes when they aren't a tyrant, but people may believe you when you say they are. Then they can come after you for damaging their reputation.
In other words, legally, it's safer to call someone a snake or a jackass than to call them a bad teacher.
Those are the legalities. Of course, it isn't nice to call someone names, especially if you haven't confronted them directly and tried to work it out. Meeting with your teacher and explaining what you want (especially with parental back-up) is a good way to improve results. Sometimes it may be necessary to request a transfer.
Dealing with authorities is a challenge you'll have all your life. Learning how to win a battle without getting hurt is a skill.
Even more difficult is effecting real change. Just like some of the martial arts, you can use a howitzer or you can use one of the eastern techniques of stepping aside and letting them fall on their faces a few times before helping them up and teaching them what works better.
I can say from experience that disobeying a direct order usually works if you have a history of being reasonably compliant most of the time, generally get good grades, have a good relationship, and can justify your position. It doesn't work if you are simply being rebellious for its own sake.
I've written essays on why the essay question was a poor question (got an "A"). I've refused to run extra laps when the coach wanted to punish students who took short-cuts I didn't take. But you do have to pick your battles and be aware of potential blowback.
You can waste lots of time fighting battles that didn't have to be.
Good luck.
