NC GOP's Answer For Ignoring Ron Paul on Their Website

You are receiving this email because you have alerted us about Dr. Ron Paul failing to be listed as a candidate for President on our website. This is because John McCain has been awarded the requisite amount of delegates to become the Republican Party’s nominee for President. This is in no way a slight at Dr. Paul or his supporters. Ron Paul has served in the Republican Party for many years and his contributions are recognized and appreciated. Dr. Paul will be on the North Carolina ballot on May 6 and those so inclined will have the opportunity to cast their vote for him. It is simply recognition that the nomination contest has been decided and it is time to start working toward the general election in November. Our job is to help elect Republicans and now that we know who will be on the ballot in November, we are working to support our party’s nominee. Though I understand you may be disappointed by the outcome of the nomination process, I hope we can still work together to elect Republicans in the fall. Thank you for your interest in the North Carolina Republican Party.

Let's continue to move forward

Let us stay united and move forward despite what may seem at this time to be obstacles to us... We must stay strong in our commitment to our cause and not become discouraged by our opposition's antics.

Peace

Look at what else they do...

I might have to stop by their office....

It's funny, but it is right next door to the Democratic HQ for NC.

For the record the NC gang is easy to get to change. Just keep the pressure up. They have considerably weak backbones. Just some insight

yay lets blindly and

yay lets blindly and unilaterally support the candidate who has already broken (his own) written law to acquire success in his campaign well before the convention, let along the general election, let alone being in the oval office. That certainly sums up the NeoGOP pretty nicely. And people cry about Obama getting a 'pass' from the media? John McCain is the biggest joke to rise from the GOP yet, and after Dubbya i think thats saying a lot.

Hush.

McCain backers don't like the truth. =)

We can all say what needs to be done, but who here lead by example today?

Subject: Fwd: liable / misrepresentation / ballot

I contact you yet again seeking redress with regard to your oversight, in which you have failed to list all Republican Presidential candidate(s). I believe you have the fiduciary responsibility to reveal all candidate(s) until the the legitimate candidate has been chosen, in MN in Sept., I am deeply concerned with you roguish behavior with regard to the afformentioned. Your effort to disregard the NC state ballot is reprehensible. When our GOP gets taken to the cleaners by the Dems, on the war issue alone, it sickens me. I will do my very best to support the TRUE Republican candidate and our sacred "Constitution", something it appears you have lost touch of. You can continue to run the ship aground or right the direction towards the party we once were. You will be held accountable for your actions.

I've submitted this in admiration of the TRUE GOP, may it once again be GRAND!

I'm going to call the RNC and see if there is any recourse for publicising on official state GOP websites the willful omission of a Presidential Candidate!

I would be surpised if they

I would be surpised if they cared to do anything. The RNC's web site has McCain plastered all over it with a McCain Store, his goofy looking self on multiple rotating ads front and center. Doing a search on their site for Ron Paul returns 3 results. Doing a search for McCain returns hundreds of pages.

It is so amazing that they don't seem to see their own obvious self destruction.... unless it is their plan.

Please write if you have time! I want them to get overwhemingly "Ron Pauled'! (as TimG below totally pwnd them!)

I'm not really good at this but here is what I wrote and sent back to the form letter I recieved:

Dear Fellow Republican,

In spite of the fact that my party is corrupt, lacking in integrity and seems to have no moral fortitude.... I assure you, I will be voting Republican this fall!

John McCain has not recieved the required amount of bound delegates and many states have yet to vote he is only the "presumptive" nominee at this point...anything can happen between now and then. There is a serious legal problem concerning his campaign financing as he has broken the very restrictions that he himself placed ( McCain/ Feingold). His foreign policy offers the same as Bush ( 100 yrs in Iraq) in spite of the fact that the overwhelming majority of Americans are against continued occupation, he is for Amnesty and against border control, he hasnt a clue about our economy or monetary policy! These are just a few of the reasons that he will not win the election even though (by hook or crook) he may win the nomination.

The nominee is not determined until the National Convention. Therefore, I urge you to realize that the GOP is disenfranchising true conservatives & democrats that are not happy with Hilary or Obama or McCain. The fact that you have willfully omitted Ron Paul on your website shows that you do not support Republicans. It is this kind of abhorrent behavior by the GOP that has galvanized many of us to take our party back! There are over 40 new Ron Paul republicans ...so far.. seeking elected offices across the country! Governors, Senators & Congressman to help guide those such as you who have strayed from the Party Platform back into a party that reflects the people and to a party that is electable! We are not going away quietly or otherwise we are here to stay and have a passion for our cause of Liberty.

I invite you to join with us to stay true to the ideals of the original intent of the Republican Party. Soon you will be the minority in the party but we will be glad to forgive you and help educate you on the Declaration of Independance, Constitution and the Bill of Rights. ( And Delegate Rules and Campaign finance laws) Now is the time to come together and fight against the liberal democrats that are running for President ( all three) Ron Paul is the real Republican.

I will be voting Republican and the only one offered is Ron Paul..if he doesnt make the nomination I will be writing him in as will many others ( approx 1 million) Good luck seeking donations for GOP with your attitude, alienation of true conservative base and omission of Ron Paul on your site. You will not be recieving any from me or my fellow Patriots ( we raised $6 million in 24 hours...remember that?)

Sincerely,
Karin Boyer

brent, Thank you for your

brent,

Thank you for your response, but as a Republican Committeewoman, I know that McCain is not awarded delegates until September. He has won the beauty contest or straw poll, no doubt. My concern is that, on principle, you have excluded a Republican candidate who has not withdrawn. Our mission as a committee is to elect Republican candidates to office, not side with any candidate. If Ron has submitted the proper amount of signatures to be on the ballot, and has not dropped out, the people of NC have the right to know that. You have no legal or moral right to exclude him. I would expect this from the Democrats. What if they decided to drop Hillary because they say she has no chance.

Okay so they wrote you back huh ?

Now write them back and point out that mccain is only the "presumptive" nominee and has only just over 900 delegates in total.

Great Idea

Will do

infinate ping loop - will cure this ; >

Someone should point out

to Mr. Woodcox the 1968 election where the delegates rebelled and nominated Hubert Humphry over George McGovern who "had the nomination locked up".

Eh

Mr. Woodcox is obviously a puppet and if you told him a train was coming, he wouldn't get out of the way unless his master told him to do so. I feel good to have been a voice against this disgrace and we will have our day very soon. Ron Paul is continuing his run for a reason bigger than all of us put together and some great will come of his persistence. There is a lot of time between now and the convention.

Even the OM

agrees McCain is the "presumed" nominee. This man is saying it in absolute terms. We need to enlighten him further.

NCGOP - I am disgusted

I guess we all missed the convention...NC ...no need to have a primary here then huh? ( sarcasm)
I recieved the same exact response:

"This is because John McCain has been awarded the requisite amount of delegates to become the Republican Party’s nominee for President"

Jeez...I'm so pissed but will respond again when I calm down!

I Responded

Brent,

I appreciate your feedback and understand your position, however the primaries are NOT over, Ron Paul is still on the ballot, McCain has not secured the needed number of delegates yet and the delegate selection process is still going on. Yet you dismiss Paul from your propoganda.

Either way, I am disappointed by my Republican party as there was nothing done to support all candidates in consideration by the GOP, but to only support the few who follow in big government's footsteps. In fact, more was done to subvert him than any other candidate. I can only be lead to believe that the actions of my supposed party are not in the interest of the people which they represent, but for their own fascist agenda.

Out of the remaining Presidential candidates only Ron Paul seems to hold the solution to the two major problems facing America today. His foreign policy and economic plan are readily integrated within each other, while McCain wishes to feed the war machine at the cost of the average American citizen.

The party is rotten and has lost its way. Ron Paul is still a choice and your decision to eliminate him from your propaganda is a blatant disregard to hundreds of thousands of Republicans in the US. The GOP is in dire straights and so far from the feelings of its educated members that it will soon become no longer relevant. Shame on you NC GOP.

The R3volution will continue and we will take over this party in due time. Another 4 years of Bush part II is something that none of America needs, and the Democrats wish to cram nationalism down our throats. Your support of such a discgraceful candidate has sickened me.

The GOP can forget me, too.

In retrospect, it wasn't the press, or the Democrats that wanted Ron Paul shunned. It was the GOP themselves! I can't support these people anymore. If it gets down to it, I'd rather "roll the dice" on a Democrat rather than let the slimeball GOP have another turn in office - especially with warlord McCain. For goodness sakes what are they thinking. The Iraq war has been exposed full of fraud and lies, yet McCain rises to the top of the GOP...what gives?

Amen, and Right On. This is

Amen, and Right On.

This is my biggest problem with the "delegate strategy" of staying the course in the GOP, rather than Ron Paul running Third Party. It's absurd.

The Republican Party has done everything it can to shut out Ron Paul, and it's not a conspiracy--it's a clash of ideology! You think the average fatcat campaign contributor, the average DC lobbyist who works with the GOP, the average Wall Street Journal reader--wants to end the war, end the Income Tax, abolish the Federal Reserve? You think Big Oil, big Banking, and the military industrial complex--which have the GOP in their pocket--are going to allow him to be become the next Republican nominee?

Pipe dreams. His odds of winning are low in a Third Party race--but do you really believe the people who run the GOP (HINT: It ain't "We the People") will let McCain lose to Ron Paul on the convention floor?

Get. Real.

Nicely written. It hits home.

Awesome Reply..

I am very proud of you, and just want to say thank you for writing that letter to the NCGOP. You tell them what you think, and don't give up. We will take our party back, and the neocons will be pushed out of the Republican party in a short time I hope.

Yay! Good show

Here Was My Original Email To Them

Yet again my beloved party of the Republicans has disappointed me. Not only has
the party, on a national level, done everything they could in order to marginalize
Ron Paul, but now the states are following in that path. The fact that you are
not including Ron Paul in your list of candidates on the NC GOP website is abhorrent
and I am seriously concerned about the party's direction. Ron Paul has gathered
the appropriate signatures in order to be in consideration of candidacy for President
and since he has not formally withdrawn, he should still be indicated as a choice.
John McCain gathered ballot access for many states by electing to be involved with
public financing of his campaign, has now withdrawn himself from consideration,
but does not have to withdraw his ballot access.

The fact that the North Carolina GOP decides to support someone that wishes to bend
the system to his favor, but to then ignore someone who has followed all of the
rules really makes me wonder if the GOP even supports all of the unconstitutional
legislation they have forced down the throats of the American public.

I have devoted my time and efforts to this party ever since I have been able to
vote and never have I been so embarrassed to be a party of the party of corruption.
Please update your website to include Ron Paul.
