Third Parties need to get on the ball!!!

I've been coming the internet for the latest videos of the third party candidates and I can't find anything interesting.

I saw a green party debate that was very interesting on their site but thats it. Don't they know that this is a cheap medium to get the word out?

Even youtube only features the two main parties and no one else. It would be great if they put the nominees of third parties on their site. When the green party and libertarian party gets their nominees we should put pressure on youtube.

This is going to be a great election year if we can open the dams of the third party this year and give them a little more popularity.

I like Cynthia McKinney of the green party and I'm looking into Bob Barr for libertarian. I believe Nader and Gravel had their chance even though I think they have a lot of good idea and great integrity.

Look up American Blackout on video.google.com to see more about Cynthia McKinney.

Any consideration for a Ron

Any consideration for a Ron Paul/Jesse Ventura ticket? I think that would get some serious media interest. And he could be RP's bodyguard at the same time. Jesse is smart, popular, and a Constitutionalist .Jesse has the media attention. Yin and Yang, the perfect team.

Libertarian money bombs

I don't understand the narrow mindedness of some RP supporters. "I'm only voting for RP and no one else", "Gimme RP or gimme death" I admire the passion. But even RP said himself that his revolution isn't about him, ITS ABOUT IDEAS. So we need to continue to get RP delegates in the GOP. And continue to elect RP Republicans for public office.

But we also need to give a steroid injection to the Libertarian Party with money bombs. They were ineffective in the past due to lack of funding. But the RP grassroots has the organizational power to help that. Bob Barr has to same web designer as RP. www.bobbarr2008.com

libertarian celebrities

Running libertarian celebrities might be a good idea, if we had any. They would, of course, take the risk of the total media (especially television) embargo of third parties and their ideas, and the complete exclusion from Presidential debates. I don't think that a libertarian celebrity would want to risk their career outside of politics until we overcome--or sidestep--these obstacles.

Of course, when we overcome or sidestep the media embargo and debate exclusion, our Libertarian (or Constitution) Party Presidential candidates may become celebrities in their own right simply be being credible alternatives to the establishment Party(ies).

Well, one thing people are

Well, one thing people are not considering when they say there's a "media blackout" of Third Party candidates is that we have two electronic medias now. There's the Internet Media and the FCC-sanctioned Corporate Media.

They have little control over the Internet Media.

And Dr. Paul's recent primary race--between the first Money Bomb and Super Tuesday, let's say--amply illustrates how generous the Corporate Media is to candidates who run out of the mainstream in the two prevailing political parties. Ron Paul has not been running Third Party, he's been running on the GOP. Can we deny that the Corporate Media did everything it could to either marginalize or ignore him during that race?
There was a virtual "media blackout" surrounding Ron Paul, up to and including leaving his name off the TV screen in primary races where he was outrunning the establishment candidates.

My point being Third Party candidates are not necessarily any more ignored than Two Party candidates who run outside the mainstream. You can't get a fair shake from the Corporate Media, so why shy away from Third Parties?

Bob Barr is very intriguing,

Bob Barr is very intriguing, and Jesse Ventura is making very interesting noises lately. If they would go ahead and commit, and say, "I'm running for President on the Libertarian Party ticket" right now, they might gain some momentum. I think both men certainly have more potential than Gravel.

A big problem with the LP, as I see it, is that the party tends not to encourage celebrities to run, when they should be chasing after them.

CP............

I must say that until September, I will hold onto the belief that RP is THE man who should be in the white house . Actually I will believe that FOREVER. I truely admire this man's honesty and loyality to the American people. It is truely sad to see that a vast number of people have given him in return, a slap in the face. I'm especially disheartened about " christians" who have utterly turned their backs on him. I have learned a lesson about these folks and now see them for what they truely are. They are part of the ones he has sent "strong delusions" to for they are blind and deaf following, and aiding the god of "manmade" government.

Hopefully, I will not be forced to vote for another candidate. I had thought about not voting or writing him in. After much consideration, I decided that logically, a write in vote would be nothing more than a "protest" of sorts and would really serve no purpose except to make ME feel better. But it is more to it than ME. This country is in serious trouble!!

The CPNC is coming up soon and the hopefuls are Alan Keyes, Roy Moore, **Chuck Baldwin**, Sen. Bob Smith, Jerome Corsi, Don Grund-
mann. The point is this... at least there are others out there (Baldwin) who share the same message as Dr. Paul.

I have already hear some very insulting comments about the CP. Some believe it is "too christian" for them. The CP is NOT trying to insititue a religion, but they do not deny God. I'm missing something. How can you believe in the founding documents, that your rights are ( god given) unalienable rights, not rights that can be taken away /granted by man, nor privilages that are to be recognized or granted to you by the state, yet deny that god has anything to do with it and are sick of seeing religion discussed on this forum???

How is it that we are all here for liberty, rights and freedom but some IMO are in denial as to where these "freedoms" come from? Inalienable comes from "man/govt" can be taken away. Unalienable comes from god and can not a lien be placed there upon.
