We have passed the hurdle and have everything lined up, all the speakers confirmed, lunches taken care of, podium, stage and sound system rented, Porta Johns being delivered, and even one of our worst critics having a change of heart..ArtGoddess8 actually endorsed us on her blog? Surprised but very happy about that.

We even had a call from George Brent the George Bush impersonator who may make an appearance if he is back in town in time, what a hoot that would be if we could have him come on stage and endorse Ron? Bill Stegmierer is bringing along 5000 flyers made from his latest full page ad for Ron to hand out to any groups of tourists etc that may come within our reach on the 15th. The Fire coalition is joining us along with several other groups and Mr Bob Schultz will follow Ron on the podium with a power point presentation and will be collecting more names on his petition. I am excited and happy the hard work is now over. All we have to do now is follow the dotted line and get to DC.
The old Granny Gang has gotten back together just for this event and I am thrilled to be with those wonderful young people again. We spent a great week going and coming from the Boston Tea party and now we will be back together and catch up on what everyone has been doing.

We just received official confirmation from Jennifer, Ron Paul's Congressional Scheduler that he (Ron Paul) will be at Freedom Rally April 15. So now there is no doubt, no rumor, it is confirmed.

Needing a permit
So we don't have our first admendment rights at our nations capitol? So DC is in volation of our rights?
Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Keep In Mind...
...that the District of Columbia is not one of the sovereign states of the union. It is the location donated by Virginia and Maryland to house the federal government. The protection of your inherent rights by way of the Constitution are not always present outside of one of the sovereign states.
You know that case about the 2nd Amendment that is in the Supreme Court which originated in DC? Well, if the Court does it's job correctly, it will uphold the absurd gun laws of DC. You see, the Constitution does not apply there. In DC they can make any law they choose. However, if the Court does uphold the absurd gun laws, then the federal government will say that is precedent for the remaining states. Now that is REALLY ABSURD, because the remaining states are where our inherent rights ARE protected by the Constitution.
I hope this made sense, I'm really tired.

Is it true that there have not been any permits, nor solid plans made for the June 21st march in DC? If this is so, this could very well be the only march for Ron Paul? Will Dr. Paul be there and has he endorsed this? Thanks.

I just went to check on any new information on the RonPaulMarch site and the RonPaulRevolutionMarch site and they are both down? All you get is a Page not found thing? Maybe my computer is on the blink as I don't think they would take down both pages???
Can anyone check to see if the Chip ins are still up for donations for that march? Surely they would not just quit without notice?
As for Ron Paul endorsing any type of demonstration that isn't going to happen. He cannot. Just as he said he thought ( THOUGHT) a march would be nice he cannot say I want you to have a march..or what date to have it on, that would make him a party to the organization and that would not be a good thing for his campaign. He SUGGESTED JUNE 21st would be a good date but never said do it on the 21st.. you guys have to learn to listen to his words.

Our firm, Terra Eclipse, has been working with the RP campaign since May - we built the official website. We're also managing the sites for BJ Lawson and Bob Barr... we will be flying out from California to DC for the Rally on the 15th with a full video and photo crew to cover the event and will be producing videos for BJ and Bob throughout the week. We have been in touch with the Capitol Police to secure a filming permit for tripod use at the event and just need to get the correct information and your approval to them in order for that to be processed. If you could please give us a quick call back

Why?
The Campaign cannot announce the rally,as it's not a official Presidential campaign stop.
Recall that Ron Paul is a congressman and that is where he conducts his daily business. He has a vote that day on the floor and afterwards, will come out to speak at the rally.
