Where's the Silver?

I live in Pittsburgh, PA and have been trying to buy some more silver. I called 8 local coin shops and was only able to find 23 1oz bullion bars. No one had anything else except for a couple of overpriced 2008 Silver Eagles. I have also called several web based companies and they don't have much to offer either.
Anyone else experiencing this?

I rarely go to the mall, but
I rarely go to the mall, but I was at a small one the other day and there were 3 stores with huge signs advertising that they buy gold. One store had a constant line of 5 or so people waiting for help every time I walked by. In a collectibles store I purchased a silver coin as a gift and several people came in to sell their gold.
My point in all that is just to mention that there were no big signs advertising "we buy silver" nor did I see anyone holding silver or hear anyone asking about selling silver.
It just appeared to me as though silver is still a buyers market where with gold people are selling (jewelry, etc).

I've been
Getting it from bulliondirect and apmex now that they are back up.
apmex had 4,900 uncirculated
apmex had 4,900 uncirculated 2008 Silver Eagles Tuesday evening. Wednesday they were gone.
Same thing with $5 rolls of 90% dimes; in stock Tuesday evening, none on Wed. afternoon... at least not whole rolls.

in 3-4 days. I've ordered twice so far, both times 1 oz. silver rounds from their "today's wholesale lots", which isn't available since the site downtime.
My next purchase will be $10 rolls of 90% US silver coins.
