Exactly Why McCain is getting all the votes
I'm sure this is no big secret. The people that are voting for McCain are the elderly (his age group) this is a very large voting block. I would venture to say 70-80% of these people do not have internet access. They are getting no exposure to the Ron Paul message.
McCain is scaring them into voting for him to keep them safe. If we could reach them and let them know how Ron Paul wants to help them with keeping social security solvent and how bringing hom the troops would actually keep them safer , I think the response would be overwhelming.
We need to find a way to reach these people !!!

I wonder what they will
I wonder what they will think when social security collapses and they are starving in the streets. I guess they will blame the government or would they blame the younger generations. I for one have already decided to take care of my mother so I guess it all boils down to family.
Generational unrest ahead.
same as it ever was (at least for the past 15-20 generations)
THE MORE I LEARN ABOUT GOVERNMENT
THE MORE I LOVE MY GUNS

Excuse me, sometimes I just can't help myself
but----duhhhhh! What do you think we have been doing for over a year? It is the media-that is all they have. Our door to door campaigns were for that purpose. But many "could not come out of their comfort level." "It just wasn't 'them'."
That is why I hoped DaddyWarBucks was actually going to do a media blitz beginning at the first of March with an infomercial on tv, over and over again. But I guess that is mega expensive and I guess we cannot do it.
The answer is media. But if we could win the media war, which we cannot apparently, then we have the elections that are crooked and we are not fixing that huge problem either.
Media is NOT the answer
Meeting your neighbors is the answer. Today is Saturday - a great day for canvassing.
Nobody voted for McCain
This clown didn't get anywhere near the number of votes that were "recorded" in his name.
I did a major amount of phone calls
He got votes. Not saying Dr. Paul didn't get a whole lot more than was recorded, but McCain got votes. It was the acceptable thing to vote for McCain. He wasn't Mormon, he wasn't a Minister, he was "for the troops."
Of course we know, "for the troops" is a total misunderstanding.
My statement was figurative.
My statement was figurative. Sure he got votes, but from a statistical standpoint (and you should know if you were calling) it's extremely far-fetched for him to have the numbers that were portrayed.

oops
Another reason...!
I am not a Rush Limbaugh listener, but I've been checking him out because of his "Operation Chaos" plan he's been touting...trying to get Texas, Ohio, and beyond...democrats to crossover vote for Hillary because they think she will be easier to defeat than Obama, so...
the Republicans are keeping Madam X very much alive, so she will be the one they face...and hopefully defeat...in the general election.
The dems are now highly aware of this plan and are taking measures to identify the "new" voters. Rush said, what's fair is fair...they chose OUR candidate...McCain, so we should choose theirs!
I always thought it was weird that McCain came out of nowhere and won NH when that was a Paul and Romney state!
Sick games, and the American people suffer. Look at our pathetic choices...
You thought it was "weird"
You thought it was "weird" because nobody voted for him.
Yes, I am aware...
...that McWar can also say...
"I couldn't have done it without the help of 'my friends', Mr. & Mrs. Diebold".
Wineskins
Putting new wine in old wineskins breaks the skins and the wine is lost.
In order to save the wine it must be put into new wineskins.
The old must die in order for the new to emerge. This is life.
Didn't the Dec. of Ind. say it best: "...Mankind are more disposed to suffer, while Evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the Forms to which they are accustomed."
Education is NOT the answer. Revival is.

Hey...sounds simple but it worked for my grandparents....or hey, we could canvass outside of the bingo centers!
